I don't want to see Max defending like a wet sock. I want to see battle.

Omg with this videos. Let me just remind everyone that lando did attempt 2 other passes on max that he drove him off the road in. Did nobody remember those 2 attempts. What do you expect max to do after that? If you feel it was to far even though lando could have used the curb to go around and not make contact which is within the track which is within a cars width. Also. Lando had 2 previous attempts do you believe if lando was in 1st and max was 2nd. Do you think max would have taken 3 dive bomb attempts or would he have waited and set up an actual proper overtake?

Lando was WAY too impatient and agressive.. yes Max caused the last incident.. but Lando could have prevented it all by not driving like Daniil Kvyat or pre 2018 Max Verstappen.

sigh... it was a 60-40 max's fault and everyone is shitting on Max now. Jeez

@@ruibastos5827 I encourage you to watch Vettel overtaking Hamilton in 2018. He did something similar. Hamilton overtake Piastri in Monza 2023. Very similar. Difference is one gets their character slandered and the other does not

@@ruibastos5827 again, I encourage you to watch those clips. Squeezing an opponent is part of racing. If you touch and cause damage than of course you get a penalty. But you should say the same with others that does the same move otherwise you are just biased

Hey if you like him, fair play to you, he is indeed amazing, look at Canada and Spain races where he arguably should not have won :-)

every time max is slower and someone tries to pass, the overtaking attempt ends in a crash, so everyone can conclude what kind of racer max is

Appreciate how you presented this 😎 since I’m not a F 1 driver hard for me to judge - uncompromising for sure - my understanding is that the greats of the past tended to be the same 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for the kind comment! Some of the greats as you suggested did have the I shall not lie quality which occasionally went over the line, Schumacher and Senna alike :-)

If there is no penalty there is no fault. He is World champion in racing. Lewis is world champion in dressing himself.

Aside from DRS overtakes on very long straights where the overtaking car clearly gets on front, there is not a single driver who overtakes without running someone out of road or risking a crash if the other one does not yield.
Max might be a little bit worse but every single one is doing it.
Especially austria turn 3, the outside driver needs to yield or drive off track almost all the time.
