it would be cool if they made an M rated game of dig dug with an actual story where your an exterminator who goes to different planets and rids them of underground alien bug infestations the main weapon would obviously be the air pump but u would have other weapons plus various gadgets to help u navigate through underground tunnels it would basically be like a science fiction /horror survivor experience with tons of gore
The only reason I remember DigDug is because when I was younger, I used to play a lot of Nintendo 64. But it was a quite used one that my parents got. When they got the Nintendo 64, they also received some extra cartridges to play on like Mario Kart, Mario Party, Wave race 64, and other racing games. However, there was one more cartridge that caught my attention. It was labeled Namco Museum 64. And within it, it contained 6 different namco games, one of them being DigDug. It was very fun to play tbh.
6:05 DigDug Arrangement is present in Namco Museum for the PlayStation 2, Gamecube, and the original Xbox... Just make sure it's not the 50th Anniversary edition of Namco Museum!
I remember _Dig-Dug_ - I grew up playing it. I'm wondering why Namco didn't do a lot more with the this franchise. They milked the Pac-Man franchise for all it's worth. I would have liked to have seen "Super Dig-Dug", maybe "Dig-Dug Jr." They could have done "Ms. Dig-Dug". I've seen videos about "Ms. Dig-Dug", a fan-made character. They could have actually done "Ms. Dig-Dug" as an actual game.
6:05, if your reading this, I have the Namco museum for the GameCube and it includes the Dig Dug Arrangement on it! That’s how I found out about Dig Dug in general.
5:23 now looking at this I’m confused how The cosmo gang even got in the ground in the first place maybe because.they lost their location while trying to steal energy
Good video but I have to say that there is a Namco Museum on the Gamecube, Ps2, and Xbox that has not just Dig Dug Arrangement, but also Pac-Man Arrangement and Galaga Arrangment
The dig dug guy not only has a son but also a wife wich is one of the first female main protagonist of an old shot them up arcade game. The funny thing is that she cames from a very gore graphic game.
Actually theres a way to play “Dig Dug arrangement” its in a collection of namco games on Xbox, Gamecube and PS2 It has the original dig dug and the arrangement version
Hmmm, I'm pretty sure that's just a port. But I'll look into it for sure tho! I'd love to actually remake this video one day, so maybe I'll include it :)
@@xonact8855 Hello, I hope I'm not bothering, but I discovered that Dig Dug had a game on the Wii, but Namco canceled it, if you search for "DIG DUG WII" it will show a gameplay of the game, it's in 3D

a very interesting concept. Not something I personally would be interested in, but would be neat to see none the less haha
Oh I am gonna like this!
yeah!
Wouldn't that ruin a lot of childhoods?
Dig Dug is the second best arcade game, after centipede.
My arcade 1up has digdug2
I had no idea there was more than the original version. I gotta check out that PSP Arrangement!

Same, but in my case it was with a DSi, with Namco Museum DS

6:05 The Namco Museum for GameCube had Dig Dug Arrangement. I used to play it all the time as a kid.

I wish to forget, actually.
I love digging strike, it’s very awesome. I didn’t know about Mr. Digger, I’ll certainly check that about too!

Well, it wasn’t just for the GameCube, it was also for the og Xbox and PS2.
Very informative video 👍👍
It was very fun to make
5:22 those aliens are from another Namco series called Cosmo Gang.
But most excellent video Sir, I really enjoyed it!!
Oh wow, never knew that! I definitely gotta look into that game/series. Also thanks for watching!
@@xonact8855 Yeah, it's sort of a whack-a-mole/light gun arcade game originally, but they made a few SNES spin offs to it.
@@Larry Yeah it looks fun! Might have to give it a look in a future video...haha
I also use to grow up with Namco museum ds and therefore very rarely played the first game until I emulated it.
Dig Dug 2 is my fav arcade game of all time bc of Namco Museum DS. I still have my copy as well. Great vid
Yeah I love Dig Dug 2!
This is lije 6 months old by this point, but anyways, I did not know that. Thanks!

... & many uncomfortable fetishes were made from 1982 onwards
Great video! One of the best arcade games ever!!!
5:15 why do i wsnt this in every dig dug game
Actually theres a way to play “Dig Dug arrangement” its in a collection of namco games on Xbox, Gamecube and PS2 It has the original dig dug and the arrangement version
magnum opus
This is a great video!
I didn't know that Mr. Driller wasn't connected to Dig Dug until Digging Strike, that's cool to know
We could really use some more rerealeses for Dig Dug 2 & arrangement
Dig Dug 2 is a classic man sucks it doesn't get enough love like the first one
Arent pookas red ballons with gogles that why there is nothing shown but black when they explode
Finally, another Dig Dug II truther!
3:19 *Today I played Dig Dug 2 on Nintendo Switch Online NES and for some reason, in the NES version, Taizo Hori appears blue instead of tan.*
*It was stellar.*
5:14 *A gun*
5:21
I'm pretty sure that's because the color pallete on NES is much smaller than on the arcade pallete they had
*Me too.*
Hmm I think I speedrun this game
His name is Taizo-
Yeah I know, I said that in the video
All I need is PAC-MAN
5:24 weedle, is that You?
3:42 i agree r.i.p pooka
I want to make a 3D fan game for this game which it will a little bit like digging strike but lt will be a mix of dig dug 1 and 2
Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it
I think I might check out the DS game when I get the chance.
Dig dug arrangement is available in the ps1 Namco classic collection.
Namco Museum
Good video for a good game.
Everyone remembers miss digdug more
Good job man, really good video, but You forgot about "New Dig Dug" of gameboy
Hmmm, I'm pretty sure that's just a port. But I'll look into it for sure tho! I'd love to actually remake this video one day, so maybe I'll include it :)

God I love that picture so much! lol
Wait wait wait you like it?
Inappropriate 0:43
2:08 I agree with your statement
Yeah, especially since THEY DON'T ATTACK YOU UNTIL YOU DO haha
7:09 *I haven’t even played or heard of this game until now, but just from the title screen I already know it sucks.*
The game is so bad. I couldn't finish it, it was so boring!
do it for the pooka.
taizo is one of my favorite video game characters ever, I hope he gets revived
amazing video btw!!
Mine is Pac-Man himself.
Namco Museum is like the explosion after the power rangers sharted on the villain of the week
