thank you! you legend! :D
Some people like records. Some people are cool with streaming. Some people still enjoy reel to reel. It's just a new paradigm that will be used alongside the old paradigm. Some people only listen to their music with really expensive cans and some people are cool with sound bars.
Exactly! Good input!
Awesome video 🤘
I wonder what happens if you capture a loud flatulence and use it as a distortion pedal?
I ordered the Tonex One, but because of delivery time i had time to think about in depth. So i cancelled the Tonex One and ordered the big Tonex. 😅🤘🏻
Thomann has the Silver Edition for 350 € including the Tonex Max Software, etc.
Woooo they’re both so good
I just got one and have been using headphones on the output jack. The pedal sounds amazing...so I tried connecting the output to my interface input 1 and it sounds thin and anemic through my monitors. Any ideas if there is a setting I need to change on my interface for this or is it just not compatible with an interface?
Where is the sound coming out from in this video? I have a stupid question: if you’re connected to an actual amp at your place, will it not change the sound of the presets you select on the app?
🎉08:35 my favorite tone
Still a fantastic thing! Hope you wont get any other problems with this video! 🤘

They sure as hell seem to be onto something with this.
Yeah, the revival of the Zoom 505 multieffect from the 2000s, sounds about he same: garbage.
Great video, pedal sounds like shit😂
Everybody's race great video dude I'm going to get one real soon thanks for the info
Great video, awesome tones 🤘
Thank you mate! I appreciate it ❤️
Is there a list of what stomp mode pedals you can choose from? I can only find information of what AMPs they have provided with the pedal but not what stomp pedals?
Yeh! I think so. You can also search tonenet for other people’s pedal captures
Love this more than the first time!!
Love it mate thank you! 🙇♂️
Can you load an amp and distortion/other effects at the same time? Trying to decide if I wanna go with this or the Katana go for headphone use. Thanks!
You could if you put the fx before it yeah :)
Can you use it with the app on your phone ?
Yeh but that’s mostly for editing the librarian features.
Lots to like in this package. I believe there is no ‘one stop shop’ or ‘one size fits all’ solution. The best part is, so much awesome gear is affordable and readily available.
Great run through 🎸🍻
Yeh exactly. Can’t go wrong for 179.99 :)
Did this video go up first a couple of days ago or am I losing it? I went to watch it again yesterday and coudln't find it :(
Yeah I had to reupload it today. It had a bug. Thanks for commenting again
@@JamieSlays Any time man ! Love your gear reviews (and videos in general) so I know what to buy!
What a time to be a guitar player! So many options! This pedal is just killer!
Hi great video! What app are you using at 10:02 and can you get it on Android?
Tonex and pc only
@@Redraptor6214 I meant the section when the mobile was being used e.g. at 10:02. I have edited my comment to reflect this.
It’s the tonex app :)
@@JamieSlaysThanks. I had a search for that but I couldn't see it on Google Play? Is it iOS only?
Looks like it is iOS only, I managed to find an old iPad and I am having a look😀
Excellent mate. What are the lights that look like honeycombs on the wall?
Govee lights :) amzn.to/3Wg6DSE
@@JamieSlays Thanks mate!

What a great review jamie ! Huge Metallica fan as well, and I’m not a tone chaser I love the simplicity and instant playability! Pre ordering mine now!
Hooray! I love that. I’m a huge fan too. Obsessed
The biggest hype campaign in history for a pedal that's able to play two tones with one foot switch.
It’s great isn’t it! :)
That those two tones consists of a whole rig each one….
@@ariskoskinas
A whole rig includes FX.
At first it's a Capture, once you add an overdrive, some modulation, some delay and maybe reverb it becomes a rig.
It still includes a noise gate, a conoressor an amp, a cab, and a reverb... Basically it only misses a delay and maybe an overdrive which can be a part of the capture. So it includes a whole rig except 1-2 effects you want. So buy the rest of effects you want and you have everything in your guitar case pocket...
If don’t know how to build up your own guitar tones you’re not enjoying it fully.
Exactly
Can you feed a backing track via usb into the pedal to play along?
🔥🔥🔥
🙇♂️
How can you use it without headphones?
Plug the output into an interface or FRFR Cab or into a guitar amp. Many ways :)
So you can’t you this as an interface?
@@sevel7556 yeh you can :) using the usb c :)
Pre order only:(
Totally worth it tho!
In my personal experience you can tell a lot about a product like this from its stock presets, and those sounded absolutely terrible. I’m glad I watched this review , cheers.
Awesome demo my dude! Appreciate the hard work!
Thanks mate 🙇♂️ appreciate you watching it
🔥🔥🔥
🙇♂️ love it
Great review mate!
Thank you!!
does the tonex record directly to the phone as well?
I’m not sure. If it has a usb c out maybe. But you may still need a PSU
Great misdirection. You cannot just turn up at a gig with the tonex in your pocket. Somebody has to bring the speakers and amps or there will be no gig. Pedals/modelers from 10 years ago can be used to 'gig' and sound good. At least with those you would know what amps you were using. This thing needs you to remember colors or bring a laptop to configure it.
Yeh. You would definitely need a power amp or an FRFR cable or plug directly into the PA system. But my narrative was to showcase its benefits to me :) not its overall benefits to every one
FRFR cab*^
@@JamieSlays I know it is your take on the tonex and I like to hear people's opinions. Wait a month or two then you will begin to hear what is really bad about this pedal. 20 slots? Great. But color coded by the user so you will never find anything. What does 3 red lights mean? Well last week it aped this amp but this week it means a marshall. What combi key press do you use to tweak this parameter? How do you know what you are tweaking? Well the lights are flashing in some blueish purple morse code. etc.
When the novelty wears off these pedals will be seen as an ego trip for the creators. Make it a bit bigger put a screen on there and profit. Korg (synth) have tiny hi-res screen and show a lot of info so it can be done.
Enjoy your kit.
Yeh the bigger tone x is an option also. Kyle bull does a good demo of it and Taylor Danley uses the TONEXONE with the tone x original also Thanks for the feedback
Maybe this is too much for you. 😮
One of the best presentation of that tiny thing. You crushed it!
But can it play sTONEr metal?
Yes
