I loved your intro and reaction- thank you so much! As you already know, Voice Play members and their frequently feature guests are from Orlando Florida and have worked as performers at the theme parks so they really are the kings of anything Halloween or spooky themed. They have a Halloween playlist on their channel and Geoff has some great stuff on his channel for the season. As much as I love their past releases I am very excited about their new release that will hopefully become public this coming Friday (may release later if this monster hurricane coming to Florida is bad). Their newest one has been a patron request for a long time and we are thrilled they are finally doing it. It has been released to the patrons and it is epic!😃
So much fun! Praying for VP members and all of Florida as another hurricane comes in! Still waiting (11 days and counting) for my folks to have their power back on in Asheville. No one needs another hurricane! ❤🎶
I believe that one of the jobs Geoff had when he worked the amusement parks, was greeter at the Haunted mansion. He certainly have the perfect voice for that role. PattyCake has a lovely video for the Halloween season 'Bump In The Night' The song you hear in the movie is sung by Tony as voiceover to the actor.
You should do voice over or acting for a vampire. You do a great job. Crazy thing is that Geoff was the Butler at Disney World on the Haunted Mansion ride when he worked there in the late 20teens.
Fun video! It's definitely the season to watch this 2016 VoicePlay video with their old lineup that included Tony and Earl. This just goes to show how good they've always been.
@@MarieDesJardin I enjoy VoicePlay in all of their iterations and with many different guest singers. It's fun to appreciate their journey and how enjoyable their older videos are too.
LOL great intro. Loved how you maintained character throughout. This is one of my favorite reactions of yours -- make of that what you will. Maybe you'll decide to become the "theatre kid" of reactors 😉
Great reaction! Fun to see Eli with hair and Earl without. Definitely check out the video they did of this backstage after a concert. Really hope their Halloween video for this year isn't delayed. I've never been so thrilled to be a Patreon member for early access to this one.
What a fun reaction - all the shadings you put in there was incredible. You will also need to hear them do Superstition and after that is the Headless Horseman. Geoff also narrates some Poe.
As much as I love their current Halloween stuff (You are going to LOSE IT when you see this year's, whoooo, it'll leave you breathless) this is still one of my favorites. Is this your first Voiceplay video with Tony Wakim in it? He has such a lovely voice, and still plays a huge part in their awesomeness! I'm so glad he and Layne started ''Pattycake Productions." 💙
@@hollyryalsgrubb1273 Yes, it is! I am a very picky Phan, too, having gotten to see Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in POTO. Have you ever read the book "Phantom," by Susan Kay? It the story of the life of the Phantom, told from different viewpoints, starting with his mother's. It's my second favorite book. I almost never ever reread books, and reread that one every other year or so. There's only one other book I can say that about.💙
Oh my! I'm looking forward to Halloween hauntings with you! This spectral character that's possesed the channel adds a different 'dimension' to the always great analysis.
Hmmm, I don't know how you make your picks, but I'd love to suggest you check out a video. It gets too little play and is fairly old, but so good, and very "Haunted Mansion" and then some. It's Paint's Disney Halloween Mashup (feat. Voctave). I don't think you'll be disappointed. 💙
Marking this to watch later. Taking a one to two week break from audio (especially recorded audio) input as therapists and I experiment with my brain. So far, we are making progress (Yay). Will deep dive your channel when therapists and I agree it is time to end experiment. Take care of you.
Haha - well done staying in character yourself!! They actually did an impromptu live version of this after a concert one night. If you can't find it let me know and I'll see if I can drop a link. Should be on VP's channel. Thanks for this! 😉🌹🕊 PS: ruclips.net/video/jpw0yQpvb_c/видео.html
They have another cover of Grim Grinning Ghosts but it is done without makeup and live. They were on tour and did it backstage after a show. I love it more than this one because you can see their talent without production. The butler (?) does not appear, but I don't miss him.
On Geoff's Instagram page.....he lip syncs to another song, while wearing the same 'costume' as in this cover......Geoff is a fan of Thurl Ravenscroft.....who did the song for the Disney ride in the first place, as well as being the voice of "Tony the Tiger"
This is a much better arrangement than the original by the gravestones at Haunted Mansion. I admit it took me many years to realize the eerie music on the ride is this song, slowed waaaaay down. I love it.

The song is also a PattyCake original - so not ‘merely’ arranged by them, but written by them as well.
Oh, yes, please do Bump in the Night. It’s one of my favorites. Even the ‘commercial’ at the end is so well done I can’t miss it!
Love your tie. It fits perfectly with Voiceplays video 😂😂😂

Loved your reaction as always. And nice tie, by the way.
Thanks so much for your spooky reaction. Very enjoyable.
You are having waaay too much fun with this, if, indeed, it was possible to have too much fun.

True! For me particularly, Tony's voice leaped out. Such a different blend from current-day VoicePlay

This is a special opportunity: you can see how Eli looks like with HAIR !!! And Earl without it. Pure fun all over the place.
LOVED this version. I just found it/VoicePlay over a month ago and I've been dancing around to it ever since.

This is such a fun song; upbeat and catchy tune. VP has such fun with it. Thank you, Daniel.

Yes; Tony was the one you couldn't take your eyes off when they were doing live shows. And their Phantom of the Opera was pure Tony goodness.
