I have a SCX24 Bronco and the same 48mm shocks but my driveshafts are on the edge of separating at full extension, especially the front driveshaft. Any driveshaft suggestions? I want better driveshafts that will extend further and a stronger steering servo
Lots of good info for someone like me whos about to build a C10. The reversed wheels for extra width and upsidedown shocks with the springs removed are things i would've NEVER thought about. SUPER COOL!
Awesome work man! Thanks for listening to our requests and feedback on your builds. Love all your work but the c10 "k5" you have here-hands down fave! Keep it up! Be safe out there.
Those little ears/nubs on the front corners come off really clean. I’ve even done a c10 front ent cut very close to the grill will improve that tire clearance either way. Sparta great work keep it up Adam
I was wondering when someone else would make a build like this. I built my gray c10 identical to this, except still using stock battery tray and all slightly modified. my shocks are right side up and using the stock springs to provide some light cushioning. You should also try the proline hyrax tires. They may be a little small in comparison but they really grab in my opinion.
Great vid fam. You should do Little Ripper build . I curious to see how you would-put your flare to it. Also a budget SCX 24 Budget Bronco would be dope!
Hi!..sorry,totally out of topic, but i was watching your "short" about the new 1/18 magnum (it looks amazing) but my real question is : what's the title/artist of the track..??...(this song is 🔥)...Thanks...and by the way,❤ all your vids...👌
Could you please make an overview of all the aftermarket bodies for 1/24 available on the market right now. Also, it would be interesting to make a hard body conversion (for example, using one of the monster jam toys). Thanks! keep up the good work!
I'm liking this build overview vids! It helps me get familiarized with aftermarket parts. Question, did your hex extensions fit your wheels perfectly? I'm running a different injora wheels and got unlucky with the fitment of the treal rotor hex extensions (the one that you used for your bronco build)? Also, you should do a build video of the lgrp ripper chassis kit!
Glad it helps! The hexes are hit or miss. Some fit really well but others I have to do significant work to get them to fit. If they’re too tight, you could lightly file down the flat parts to see if you can get them to fit. And I will have a ripper video soon!
Just curious what do you think is better for your indoor track and outdoor on the rocks with either the scx24 Jlu or the gladiator? I was thinking maybe the longer wheelbase would be better 🤷🏻♂️
I need to get a V2 setup for my c10 even know the slow crawl is amazing without it but since I got the 900 milliamp hour battery’s I’ve burned out 2 brand new V1 esc’s in it. Have you burned any V2’s with the bigger battery’s?
Hi Adam. My name is Richard, and I live in Muskegon, Michigan. I recently subscribed to your channel because you have built an amazing truck. I tried the 48mm double barrel shocks and tried right side up, upside down, w/ springs and without. My biggest concern is driveshaft separation. How do I eliminate this problem? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Great video! Do you know if the rear links and driveshaft from the c10 would work on the fcx24? Would have to drill a small hole in the link to mount the shocks, but I think the 10mm extension would be awesome. Im not a huge fan of the super long extended links. Also, have you ever tried to drill out the tiny 1.4mm pivot balls to fit a m2 screw?? Update.. just tried drilling out the pivot ball.. Didn't work..
Hey Adam I’ve recently added double barrel shocks relocated to the frame. When I put any pigged than a 55mm tire I pop front drive shafts on full articulation. Any mods or ideas on longer front shafts for c10 front bruhh?
I'm working on my c10. Right now I'm trying to install the Furitek Komodo with the Tegu esc. I've got everything in the truck and plugged up and I have steering but no Throttle, forward or reverse. The tegu esc and stock receiver are both blinking. Do I need to bind the 2 together somehow or am I doing something else wrong?
Did you get the Bluetooth module? Just curious if it’s registering throttle inputs on the app. You shouldn’t have to bind them together, and if there was a binding issue you wouldn’t have steering. It sounds like something is amiss with the motor connection
@@CapeCrawlers You were correct. After seeing your message I went back and looked it over again and had the RX plugged into the servo position instead of output. Thanks again!
Check out the patriot pecker build kit by Texoma rc like to hear your opinion on it he also has a cr18p chassis and other things 3d printed stuff looks kool

I missed this one , cool build . I have the real thing in orange sitting in my garage .
Orange on this body must look sharp!
I bought one of these to go off-roading with my buddy, with the camper shell it looks really good
The camper shell totally transforms the look!
As soon as I saw the c10 on your channel, I was in love
What a great looking rig Adam! Thanks for sharing the steps.
Thanks for watching!
sweet little build, it's nice to have some truck variety in the fleet
i set my c10 up so that when lgrp hopefully comes out with the mini swamp kings i can put those on there. the c10 is my favorite! we have 3!
Love the c10! I think it’s the best all around scx24

bring it bro!!!! Im in the middle building my c10

Looking back at the video I think I really need to trim those off. They’re definitely in the way!
I like the limiting setup your using. I have a chain/rubber band system that’s over complicated.
Keep up the good work mate, you are really helping me and others in the rc hobby 👍
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching!
Love the info Adam. I think the c-10 is the all around best mini axial has, awesome video brother 😁
I think it is as well. Thanks for watching!
Your channel is crazy I find my self re watching your videos 2-3 times 😂
I appreciate that!
Awesome video! I recently bought a scx24 gladiator and it’s overall great! Thinking about getting some new tires
Cool thumbnail shot , the truck looks awesome
Thanks! The blazer top makes a huge difference
My c10 build is going pretty well I just need it to be wider, and an LCG chassis, and a furitech motor
So pretty much everything 😂
@@cardboardcrawlersrc8805 no I did wheels and tires, body, shocks, and brass

I love the hyrax tires! So grippy. Just wish they were a bit taller. Did you see Injora just released a 57mm hyrax clone?

Where can I get a board set to check the flex and incline capabilities like you have. That’s extremely cool bro
I got it from crawler park: www.toyswd.com/us/awesome-obstacles/10-set-up-system-table-124-118-rc-crawler-park.html
I had a LGRP motor in one of my trucks, swapped with a CC/RC motor, much quieter same torque.
I haven’t tried the ccxrc motors but I’d like to!
Just curious what do you think is better for your indoor track and outdoor on the rocks with either the scx24 Jlu or the gladiator? I was thinking maybe the longer wheelbase would be better 🤷🏻♂️
Gladiator hands down. The JLU is fun to watch and drive but it can't hang with the gladiator performance wise.
Hello 🤗
I used MOFO limiting straps on my Bronco, and they seem to work good, but rubber bands are cheaper.
I looked at the Mofo ones but the cost and the setup kinda put me off. The rubber bands have worked well!
I'm gonna try the rubber bands on my son's.

Like this build look great
What motor would you rather have the lgrp reaper or the injora high torque 50t motor?
How did you fix the problem with the wheel extensions and screwing on the bolt for the wheels cause I’ve ran into the same problem
I drilled out the center hole to fit the barrel nuts through if thats what you mean
id live to see an update in ur jlu

Hi Richard, a limiting strap is the best way to control the driveshaft. Check out the LGRP limiting strap. It’s an easy and effective solution

I think the links could work with the mods you describe. Driveshafts from the scx24 do fit, so that wouldnt be an issue.

You need some limiting straps. Check this out: ruclips.net/user/shorts2cFlJfdcZj8?feature=share
I'm surprised you haven't put a wide body kit on that truck
I think if anything I would close in the width. I like the lines of the body as is
Hey Adam, did you do anything with the oil in the shocks or you just took of the springs?
No oil, just removed the springs.
early love the vids and the builds(first!!!)
you should do a very scale build.
Based on the C10? I'm doing a scale gladiator build right now and it's a fun project.
What tool did you use to open up the wheel wells with?
I used tin snips to cut them and sandpaper to smooth them out
Adam my name is Steven and I have a question where do you get the top for that C10 I have a C10 just like yours but I'm wanting a Bronco top two
I got it from RC4WD: store.rc4wd.com/micro-series-truck-topper-for-axial-scx24-124-1967-chevrolet-c10.html
Nice 👍
A deadbolt update next

can you do a vid on axals jeep gt

@@CapeCrawlers thank you so much
What 23% overdrive gears are you using
Injora.
For the 7mm hex extentions to work do you have to buy extended axle shafts or do the wheel nuts still thread onto the stock ones?
They come with extended barrel nuts to fit the stock axles.
@@CapeCrawlers awesome! Thank for the quick reply!

Yes, it's CapeCrawlers. Good for 5% off anything.
Those tires are nowhere to be found! Out Of Stock, wherever I looked.
