Benedict is the kind of actor who will do his homework for his role. Granted that he will play this character for the next 10 years, so he is basically absorbing the all the available materials. The Russo brothers even trusted him with the script for Infinity War, so that he could understand how important his role for the plot.

If there’s any of the Avengers cast I’d trust with the complete script it’d be him, you can kind of just tell that he takes it all very seriously and understands how little can be spoiled about these movies- because even the smallest things can lead fans to connecting certain dots.

This was the most relaxed and fun interview I’ve ever seen. This guy is so likeable. He’s not just asking the questions but he makes it fun for the interviewee and the viewer. He doesn’t just ask random questions and sound thirsty for answer from them, like Captain cringe from IGN

I like how Ali doesn’t really ask the usual questions. Because they get asked a LOT. The amount of times Robert Pattinson was asked on the press tour of The Batman things like how he got the gig, what it felt like wearing the suit, if he really did wear Clooney’s suit, etc- it got very repetitive. Ali Plumb mostly asks very different questions- he brings up behind the scenes stuff from previous movies, stuff like how he’s been directed (which led to Benedict’s demonstration of Sam Raimi’s style of directing which I thought was really interesting)- he knows what to ask that gets people interested, and what will get the interviewee more invested. Radio 1 struck gold bringing in Ali Plumb, he’s so good.
I love how Ali and the Marvel cast are basically chill friends at this point because they’ve worked together so much, and Ali is fantastic at making everyone comfortable🥺❤️
I remember one of the first interviews the interviewer did with RDJ, he was having a nervous attack and about to pass out, and look how comfortable and so natural he is now! He asks fun questions and yet gets the impotant points, he totally got the assignment.

Sometimes i wonder if BC is doing this just for the paycheck, but then he clearly knows everything about the movies and the character and gets defensive if someone, for example, calls the cloak a cape. in other words, BC is the real deal and i think hes awesome.
The marvel casting is just perfect. Benedict Cumberbatch feels very much like Dr. Strange. His acting is incredible and all his movies as Dr. Strange are amazing from his 2 Dr. Strange movies to the Avengers and Spider-Man movies he was in. All of these are amazing castings - 1. IronMan 2. Thor 3. Captain America 4. Dr. Strange 5. Odin
