    If you take a look at the C500 Mii and the Venice on CVP's lens tool, you can see that the Venice has more vertical sensor size, but the C500 has more horizontal sensor space. The C500 actually has more horizontal sensor size than even the Alexa mini lf. The only camera that I found which has a bigger sensor both horizontally and vertically is the red V-Raptor

    What's neat to see with both of these cameras is how similar they look to the image coming out of the compact mirrorless cameras of each line. Of course, there are a bazillion more features with these, but especially with how flexible codecs have become in post the mirrorless cameras have become extraordinarily powerful tools.

    Truly, it's amazing how just in a short couple of years image quality is almost indistinguishable between a pro cinema camera and a (pro) consumer camera. But you'd have similar results with an even lower pricepoint now. It's a great time to make films!

    I have greater respect for blind reviews comparing camera image quality. Labeling images often introduces bias. In my opinion, the underdog cameras often perform surprisingly well compared to their high-priced counterparts. This demonstrates that cameras are merely tools for expressing an artist’s creativity, while reviews lack that creative element.

      @JitDawgBruhDang Год назад +1

      @@Aviciiz you don’t really shoot like that and your eyes are distorted with bias. Your opinion has implicit bias supporting the Venice because it’s more expensive. Both the colors from the Venice and canon look really nice but if Arri has the undisputed best color according to all filmmakers, then the Canon wins “skin tones” and “color separation” (which are intangible assets). Your argument is weak in the 1st place because nobody uses stock colors especially if your shooting with the Venice so your opinion has been proven wrong

    • @Erdnase52
      @Erdnase52 Год назад +3

      Color separation is something I grossly underestimated with the c500 II (and isn’t talked about enough in camera comparisons) I believe nearly ALL cinema cameras can be graded to look super beautiful, but getting that color separation is a huge factor in that.
