Had a star man moment several years ago, seen a kids step father beating him profusely like he was fighting and adult the kid wasnt even fighting back, me and a buddy stomped him for what he did and the cops let us go, we waited around with the kid for his mom to show up and she hugged us like we had freed her and her son from an age long conflict, to this day the kid calls me and my buddy uncles and his mom says we are her brothers, ive now worked with her for 5 years and get invited to family events all the time with my own kids and wife.

It was practically a free standing studio apartment. I just used it as a crash pad and storage unit because I live in Chicago and my company is based in Pittsburgh. Ended up being cheaper in the long run than paying for hotels all the time.
