Had a blast riding with you and marek :) Very impressed on how well you kept up with us on an EUC! Can't wait for the next time I will be back in Poland!
Hi Adam, it was great seeing you riding to the woods with the ebikes. I literally just sold my e-bike this morning because I wasn't riding it as I'm always riding my S18, LOL.
Great points & solid video! Going off road on an EUC is more fun and exciting for me than being on the road, but both are fun. Fun is relative, but it's abundant by riding EUCs. I find that going off road has also helped me develop my riding skills more quickly.
I too have found that an hour or so in the woods levels me up so much quicker than many more miles on roads and paths. I'm pretty new to riding EUC, so the journey to the woods isn't the most confident, but on my way back home I feel like I'm flying in my shoes 😂
@@jimbobinski I'm relatively new to EUC as well - it has been awesome. The fact that riding & gliding is so enjoyable, makes preparing for the danger... fun. I think us wheelheads all have that in common. For sure, the skills we build at slow speeds & different surfaces is monumentally important. Sand has been the most challenging for me, but the fat tire of the Sherman is butter on it.
Point 12 about skill is an interesting one. What we all take for granted is that we learned to ride a bike as a kid. Going from that to an ebike and offroading is just a development of the skill you already have. EUCs require learning from scratch so it feels harder to get started and a longer path to being capable off-road. It would be interesting to see what someone who has never ridden a bike finds easier out of the two.
Got a 16x as my first wheel and I've got about 120 miles on it so far primarily off road and it's been an absolute blast im riding every chance I get and it's awesome feeling your self get better as you go my confidence riding sky rocketed after a few miles off road
Can confirm forest walk paths are a full work out and challenge on a euc. Beware of pedals hitting your ankle and thorn bushes grabbing your leg. The first steep down hill I tried send my shoe and euc flying forward and me on my bum. Don't even know how but I guess I got some learning to do LOL
This is all so true. I did cover a few of the point too. Any mid range e-bike here in the UK is going to cost you between £4500 to £6000 and then its limited to 15mph. You also need a special towbar to carry it and the standard one does not support the weight. It all adds up in cost. Then keeping the bike serviced is another cost where the EUC is pretty cheap to run all year round. Awesome video.
So apparently the tire we call offroad knobby in EUC community is a 50/50 type tire, half road half offroad. Cause I just installed a dirt bike knobby on my 16x, it sucks ass on the street but I can go in any mud, so to his point about riding e-bikes in the mud over EUC... it's all about the tire. The grip is insane and 16x is a perfect wheel for it.
I love riding off-road, no suspension so I feel the trails under my feet and that's the best. Good workout too. Trails also provide a better feeling of speed (even at lower speeds), since you usually fly pretty close to trees and rocks. Falling is less catastrophic for you and the wheel as well, so that's a plus. Actually, it's often pretty exciting to crash with good gear.
I'm now into what will be my third year of being PEV-only in regards to my transportation, and I have to say that I couldn't do it if I wasn't using *both* an EUC *and* an e-bike. The EUC (MSX 100v/1860wh) is my tiny little mid-life-crises sports car. I use it for fun, and for all trips where I'm not going to be hauling anything but ass. My e-bike (Biktrix Juggernaut Duo) is my SUV - it hauls less ass than the EUC, but more groceries.

I wish flat tyres were actually rare… I’ve had loads and they are a total pain in the arse.. especially miles from home… still Euc is the best fun tho’
Personally I don't understand what is the reason to buy powerful electric bicycle over motorcycle as it has all the downsides of motorcycle like size, weight, higher cost, necessary maintaining of the brakes and so on... But in addition to all downsides of a motorcycle - electric bike adds LOOOONG charging time to the total picture. If you want fast, compact, long range transportation that is also capable of doing some lite offroads - go for EUC. If you're hardcore offroader - go for gasoline dirtbike, it has more power, in "charges" in 3 minutes from empty to full, has better suspension and bigger wheels.
You cant compare the weight of a dirtbike to something like a Kuberg Freeride or Ranger but you definitely can compare power, and the instant torque of an electric bike is something that can only be felt, yes Ebikes have higher initial cost but almost no maintenance comparing to gasoline dirtbike, charging times also not so much of a problem full charge of the Ranger is 2h I can wait that no problemo :D also the silence in the nature is priceless.
I've been riding similar track on EX. 2 things that help a lot, compared to MSP: higher pedals, suspension. But the weight is something to get used to. I don't say it is impossible, but it takes some time. It's the same with all new suspension wheels - they are all way heavier than the old MSP, that is really a very light and capable off-road wheel.
Riding off-road is somewhat safer in terms of no conflict with automobiles. When meeting head on traffic on a trail in emergency situations there is a little more danger. Overall hard packed dirt trails are more interesting to ride than on a paved path or road
Im riding only offroad with a ks 18XL my weight is 72-75kg but iam not sure how mutch bar should I use -.- I have rocky trails with big tractor tracks, coarse gravel, forest and Clay paths with rocks or mud
I really/only like offroad EUC riding with my BEGODE RS19HT! What pressure do you ride in your tire?? I got a c186 on my wheel and have 3.5bar (i'm 99kg) Big Fan from your videos 👍🏼
Off road on electric wheels is great because it can be a good core work out but on road all u get is the carving and turning which is still something but still kinda lazy lol I grew up riding mtb and Unicycle I’ve never had an electric anything till euc
Almost, but not always, at least for me. I've been riding together with some of my MTB friends that are pretty high level in competitive MTB. See my comment above.
Maybe write me on FB please what kind of path you have in mind. Gravel is doable but it depends on how fine it is and how tough it has been pressed down
I dont use fb. I had the kind of gravel in mind that is mostly used in winter on streets, but in large quantities, hence layered. Even with bikes these become a pain sometimes and with my eBoard (back wheel motors) it is a pain to say the least. I just can't imagine an EUC on these roads. Not that these roads are everywhere, but something to keep in mind, esp. near lakes etc.

The number of EUC owners is growing rapidly. I don't understand why you only make videos about expensive wheels? When I want to buy a car for the first time, I don't watch videos about Ferraris and Bugattis. Please make reviews about wheels for less than 1000 Euros also.
Even for a beginner you're better off saving up for something around 2000 with these cheaper wheels as soon as you get confident (which won't take long) your going to want something bigger faster and more capable, best to get something you can grow with
@@euctheeast3902 Yes, because of that i bought 2000 Eur EUC. But lots of EUC new users dont buy EUC for fun. They buy because it is alternative transport equipment. 2km to work and back you dont need V12 or Veteran Sherman.

HOW HIGHEST PSI OF AIR SHOULD BE PRESSED INTO THE "EX-N HT" TIRE?
the thing is, its half an ebike at 1/3 to 1/4 the cost, its just a no brainer
I wonder how the Abrams will fair. High pedals, because it's huge. 22 inch and still have torque.
I’m curious about that too. But what I’m really eager to try is the S20, suspension is what I need on those trails.

Im riding only offroad with a ks 18XL my weight is 72-75kg but iam not sure how mutch bar should I use -.- I have rocky trails with big tractor tracks, coarse gravel, forest and Clay paths with rocks or mud
I am about 85kg including all gear and have usually 1.4-1.7bar on my MSP with Sherman tire (K262)
@@7belair you cannot compare a sherman tire with a KS 18XL tire.
@@TheTriexy No way :)
Great video Adam 👊 Nice job of defending EUC's. But don't be a Chooch - "electric wheels" 😉
It's true about no flats. I'm close to 15,000 miles without a flat.
I really/only like offroad EUC riding with my BEGODE RS19HT!
What pressure do you ride in your tire?? I got a c186 on my wheel and have 3.5bar (i'm 99kg)
Big Fan from your videos 👍🏼
Very cool! I have around 2-2.5 bar in the video but I’m 75kg. I like the kenda 262 way more :)
@@mr_wrongway thanks for the tip and fast comment 💨💨
@Bubu Mumu hahaha just buy a stronger wheel (I sold my s18) 🤣
You need to redo this vid with S20. ;)
YES
Kurde Adam jesteś dzik💪💪💪
I just bought a used rs-t to learn offroad riding.
Good choice!
Hey adam. Whats the top speed on the exn torq? And how many watts is the motor?
Around 65 km/h is doable and going 60 km/h without beeps. 2800W motor
@@mr_wrongway thanks for the info Adam🤟
Me riding a 14m: Everything is off road
What camera(s) are you using?
11:46 We see some real Horse Power 😉
definitely prefer riding my EUC offroad, even on my Sherman
Hey bro I want to know how to hit berms hard and fast and come out the other side 😂
Off road on electric wheels is great because it can be a good core work out but on road all u get is the carving and turning which is still something but still kinda lazy lol I grew up riding mtb and Unicycle I’ve never had an electric anything till euc
Афигенннннна))!!!
How much of a workout do you get in your abs?
did you change the tire too off-road ?
It was a off Road tire from factory
I did 20 000 km on my MTB. It is so much more capable than my T3 with exactly same tire width. Bike is always much better offroad.
Almost, but not always, at least for me. I've been riding together with some of my MTB friends that are pretty high level in competitive MTB. See my comment above.
Ive never seen you ride gravel paths. How are EUCs on thick layered, finer gravel paths (as this is more common here in germany)?
Maybe write me on FB please what kind of path you have in mind. Gravel is doable but it depends on how fine it is and how tough it has been pressed down
I dont use fb. I had the kind of gravel in mind that is mostly used in winter on streets, but in large quantities, hence layered.
Even with bikes these become a pain sometimes and with my eBoard (back wheel motors) it is a pain to say the least.
I just can't imagine an EUC on these roads. Not that these roads are everywhere, but something to keep in mind, esp. near lakes etc.
@@privileguan9127 Need to be careful, especially in making turns. Going straight is usually not a problem, at least if you have some experience. Keep the tire pressure low though.
@Mart Einpalu
Thanks, this is what I expected.
Nice Helmet 👍
Thank you sir! Really been loving the Airoh :)
@@mr_wrongway Same :D

Budżet do 1000£
The number of EUC owners is growing rapidly.
@@euctheeast3902 Light, 30km/h EUCś are very wanted!
just buy both lol
A berar bike or techlife x9 .... hmmmm. hmmmm.
Think how much more professional it would sound if you say "wrong way" in a normal cadence.
