EUC is the natural progression of human transport. I don't see how you could simplify a vehicle any further, it's literally just a wheel with a motor and battery in the smallest package possible
Unfortantely its not. Entry level too damn high :/
Charles H. Duell was the Commissioner of US patent office in 1899. Mr. Deull's most famous attributed utterance is that "everything that can be invented has been invented."
make it two wheels. learning curve too steep.

The way i see it, Escooter can get boring overtime but on a EUC ja can always find a way to enjoy your journey
i really dont see why an EUC cant get boring too...
Interesting Video Adam! Keep up the awesome content. -Vosk
Thank you David & ESG!
Sooo, I think ESG should branch into EUCs.
Nice ! This was weird to watch because I thougt "yeah me too" at approximatly every experience you shared..The only differences are that I decided to switch at approx 4,500 km and I changed for a V12HT. But I just got it so now I have to eat the road and get the 3000km on a EUC. Very inspiring video !!
I had a similar experience. On my scooter after 2-3 hours I was aching and after 6-7 hours on my sherman I feel comfortable. Other big things I noticed:
- No range anxiety
- Easier to maneuver through people and traffic
- More intuitive
- Can eat and talk on phone while riding
- Can fit in my trunk easy
- While in stores or at red lights can rest by sitting on the seat instead of standing
- Wayy better over bumps
I can go on so I'll stop myself.
is it a monowheel? you said "sitting on the seat instead of standing" Where is the seat? I am new to what a Sherman is.
10 out of 10. Great vid Adam, I would’ve given you 11 but you forgot the intro. 😉
Recently I thought about purchasing a EUC.
And after watching these two videos: "Why don't you just get a motorcycle? - EUC rider's perspective" and "9 Reasons NOT to get an EUC"...
... I definitely decided what I would take. Maybe next year.
The most expensive I can afford is Inmotion V10F, although I would like more mileage and speed.
P.S. I already have two electric scooters (M365 and big metal box).
Greetings from Ukraine 🇺🇦🤝🇵🇱
There is no advantage to a scooter over an EUC aside from learning curve. EUC is the absolute king of P.E.D.s and anyone who's ridden one would agree.
@@meuconmyeuc1337 Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to ride the EUC yet.
@@meuconmyeuc1337 E-scooter advantages
1. will consistently outbrake an euc,
2. can be ridden at a crawl in heavy pedestrian traffic dragging one foot for balance and then move off effortlessly, can even "track-stand" on the spot if, like me, you're a moto-trials rider,
3. will not generally faceplant, whether human error or not
4. very easy learning curve also makes it inherently safer to control, especially braking,
5. can carry 2 people, and even have a sidecar attached for a dog, as someone has done,
6. can change foot position and have a seat attached, so less tiring
7. wheelies, skids and stoppies are move fun
8. ready to use, and jump, out the box without custom fitting power pads etc
9. lights, horn, mirror on handlebars adds safety
10. less conspicuous
EUC is more like Cyberpunk, It is so connected with you that you almost feel it like a part of your own body, like an enhanced pair of new legs. Just like in Cyberpunk where you can enhance a different part of your body. It is more intimate than scooter and more personal experience. Love my EUC!
Nice video and good story. EUC is king of the PEV space. A little more focus on safety and it will become mainstream. The new V13 Challenger appears to be a major step in the right direction in that regard
Well, that may be a little premature to be definite! We can all sure hope that it is as reliable as eg a Veteran Sherman, that would be a start.
trikke is underrated because its expensive
The newest euc that hasn't come out yet always boasts to be the next biggest thing. Just let the pros get to it first and stop pre-ordering stuff before it gets tested. Wait at least a year after a wheel comes out and you will get the best version of it.
@@freeforester1717 Well hall sensor redundancy and "triangular" circuit design is what I am referring to. This should be the new industry standard because it means a single component failure will not suffice to cut the wheel out. The Sherman does not have this; no wheel does.
In response to a later comment, this is not a matter of "let the pros try it out first" because it is simple, smart electronic design and is precisely what all self-balancing vehicles have needed since the start. And I ride like a pro anyway, so I am not sure what that comment was supposed to mean. I ride 40 miles minimim daily with typical speeds in the 30's among traffic.
@@jamesordwayultralightpilot i am waiting for the first IPM hub motors so we no longer are dependent on voltage. we can finally have true 60mph and up wheels

Do you experience voltage sag after 50 percent of battery?
This is realy fair comparison between 500€ scooter and 4000€ euc… :D by the way xiaomi is realy durable if you use it how it should to be used.

Just imagine the EUC as your legs on steroids. You can basically do the things you do while walking - but only faster.
EUC’s are definitely better for daily commutes. EKS have the advantage for errands.
Depends on what’s important tbh. Portabilitywise - I can carry a xiaomi eks into a bus, but then a Nami - would be more of a struggle. But if I had an EUC with the same specs as the nami, I could still bring it inside the bus, the office, and the trunk of a sedan
When you ride an EUC, you don't look back. Mainly because EUCs don't have rear view mirrors, haha...
You can have it on helmet or on your wrist
@@dtsubera Yes. I was only joking :)
Having experienced both, I enjoy the scooter more. The safety is a big thing. If a euc decides to turn off on you mid ride.. that’s it lol.
He came from one of the lower end scooters.
Comparing an actual high end dual motor scooter would be more efficient.
Vsett, wolf king, dualtron , inmorion rs etc.
For it’s a xiaomi and he spent so much money he could have gotten such a better scooter instead of upgrading like Varlaa
Eagle one
SAME.. here.. bought a dualtron 3.. rode 500 miles.. bought a one wheel... rode 2000 miles.. bought Teslav2.. rode 2500 miles... bought a RSHT rode 2500 miles.. now on SHerman Max.. loving it.. Sherman best wheel so far for me.. Wife is riding the Scooter now..
He needed something fast for long travels and bought a cheap Xiaomi 365 first😆🤣😂, one of the worst choice. And then bought a premium EUC, that is a big upgrade😄.
I made thousands of km with my speedway 5 and spend only 1900€ + a 6.5Amps official Minomotors charger for 145€ (I set it to 8A for a 3-4h safe full charging). 80km in 35km/h eco mode and 35km at full 60km/h speed (I did that only for testing purposes ^^). I only bought a stronger screw for the stem day one and then never had to change anything. Just checking all screws, put some grease if needed, pump the tires and clean it 3 or times in a year.
I made also thousands of km with my first Mini 4 pro for 900€. Not a piece to change in 3 and half years. It is my light (16kg) and relatively small vehicule and can follow me in all places, even small shops, waiting rooms (doctors) and restaurants like an EUC and can carry my 80kg during 40km.
I use both of them and I love them.
I tested an EUC, I wanted to buy one because of your videos 😉, but no way to ride it. Maybe it was also a crappy one. Like on a wild horse I crashed a lot, sweated a lot, and gave up after few days (one hour per day). I have some good skills in general. I learned to ski in one day, I learned to ice skate in few hours, had my driving licence first try, I learn new things faster than average, beat all my video games without raging 😎 but EUC made me mad I don't know why. That was the first time in my life I gave up to learn something, I am very frustrated now. One day I will have my revenge.
I am off topic, let's go back to the point.
The fact is that he bought a crappy budget scooter first. EUC or scooter is about preference, both are very cool in my opinion, with their pros and cons. But the durability, whatever EUC scooter or anything else is about "don't buy first price budget garbage if you don't want to loose your money later".
Have a nice day !
finish Dark Souls in first attempt and we can talk
@@Adriano70911 already done, long time ago. Souls are not as difficult as we say if you take the time.
Find/ask a trainer/EUC rider to teach you. It would take you 10-30 min to learn ) and don’t be afraid to fall/fail. I met recently a 82 year old euc rider, he told he learned it in 4h, (4days 1h/day) if he could do it, you can! Don’t give up! My advise to you ;)
I was in a similar situation and didn't give up just because I didn't want to lose the money I spent on the purchase. I was able to ride my EUC after a week of training. Now, a year later, I'm on the wheel every day if it doesn't rain or snow.
Comparing a Xiaomi M365 toy scooter with a Veteran Sherman... Oh yeah that makes sense! It's like a Ninebot One EUC against a 72V Nami Burn-E or Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro.
Scooters and EUC's... Both are fun and both have their right to exist! Both have their pros and cons and both have their fans and enthusiasts.
I believe that the desire for change is in the heart and when it arises: Nothing to do, buy a wheel! Un brazo desde Medellin Colombia
Hey Galo, I'm interested in getting one. I'm living in Bogota but can't find any company that ships to Colombia.
Main issue with EUC is all the gear you need to put on just to ride, knee pad, wrist guard, elbow pads with e-scooter you just hop on and go.
I'm not selling any of my PEVs, I just add to the list. I got escooters, ebikes, and soon to get an euc or two muahahaha
Me too. Loving my PEVs❤️. I got Escooters ebikes. Electric Skateboards. A variety of different rides. Never gets bored😁.
I started riding EUCs last year 2021 in August. I got 3 of them 👍.
I said that too but I only ride my EUCs.
I think if you had to have one pev, it should be euc. But variety is great!
I started ninebot A1, V10F, then a cheap scooter for family that can't ride Euc. Then RS, then Gotway scooter for family that want to keep up (its a 84v MSX in a scooter body with fantastic suspension).
Then i went e-bike with a great frame for long term mods, and also all non Euc family can ride(got rid of little scooter). It'll eventually be faster and run farther than any euc possibly could, and a bike can go anywhere that's shut down euc.
Next will be (maybe) extreme bull k4, then suspension long range euc- then I'm done... lol
All have different vibes and hang-ups. But EUC is the most hassle free.
Nice video! Been using an EUC since last year, but not too much, as they are illegal in China (I don't know how it's been for Kuji recently).
I think the missing point is to have independent audits of the design, electronics, software, etc. There should be an independent certification that companies could adhere to, instead of us, riders, being the testers, like your latest experience with the V12HT.
Anyway, may be moving soon to Kraków, do you know what's the situation there? I saw lots of e-scooters but no EUC at all!
You can launch yourself into the business of certification and create your company. Sounds like you just found a job!
@@baptistek1917 Since I don't have neither the resources or the expertise, I'll let you move forward with the idea, as it must be very easy!
EUCs are illegal in the place that they are made? Interesting.
@@timmyb62 They are not illegal per se, they are illegal to ride on public streets/roads/pavement/curbs. It is legal to own and to use it on private allowed areas.
I don't use my e-scooter and I'll be selling it. I still use my RS (HS) and would only sell it if I had a better EUC. I'm seriously considering buying a Sherman Max. I also have an e-MTB (with Bafang Ultra motor and 1512Wh batteries) arriving this week, this offers some things that the EUC doesn't and will be more stable than the e-scooter and is much safer with the 27.5" wheels. Between the e-MTB and EUC (or maybe EUCs) I think my needs will be very well met.
I am considering getting an EUC. I have been riding scooters for a long time and recently sold my Zero 10X as i didn´t ride it that much anymore and mainly use my normal everyday scooter to go to work and back. I would like to try EUC but just worried about spending a lot of money on an EUC when i never tried it. I am thinking about getting a second hand one but everyone is telling me only to go for models with suspension... how important is the suspension for someone living in town? not really planning on going off road or tracks.
I also ride a Xiami Pro 2, and after few weeks, the stem began to be noisy. Also, every little bump or holes are torture. I found your channel months ago and watched a lot of your videos to learn more about EUC. I know have a Ninebot A1 i got for 200€ second hand, to test what EUC are really like... And damn i love it. The only things that keeps me using EScooter is that i make my groceries with it and so it's easier to absorb windburst, the other thing is that EUC are still expensive for the speed we are limited to in France (25km/h) and insurance are a bit more expensive.
But for a technology and comfort standpoint, EUC is life, even with the 9botA1 i can do non-escooter compatible road. Thanks for all your videos !
Not quite WW. I bought an Apollo City Pro ‘22, 34mph, 32 mile range, self healing tires, 70 lbs, full suspension, 6 hour recharge with basic charger, no need to upgrade anything, $1600 all in. But i’m still considering an euc anyway, the size, free hands, and portability. I ‘d love the idea of putting the euc in my car trunk or on a bus or train. The learning curve to euc is scary (older knees, slower healing), no open areas to train without some traveling to get there. Seriously watching euc’s now, ks s19 and ks s16 (suspension) are top contenders, not for any performance/off roading (nyc) but love the well done basics of these machines: visibility, suspension, appearance, smart bms, ip rating, comfort cruising speed/range, kickstand, app connection. AND the future is bright for euc’s, maybe UL2272 rating too.

He was riding down the middle of the path running the bikers of the path lol 😂
does he chain it up at school or actually bringing it from class to class?
I understand the advantages, but something that nobody mentions (probably because they don't) is that in scooter many times I travel with another person with a lot of comfort, it is a way of sharing that I see quite impossible with the EUC.
I have never ridden an electric scooter. I bought an EUC from the very beginning, so I don’t know if I would like an electric scooter. Most likely not. I think that this would be an extremely inconvenient thing - hands are busy, there are many parts that can break, it is inconvenient to store or transport.
I have a ninebot max g30. and in 4500km, Ive only replaced the front bearings and brought slime.
If you're buying a scooter always buy one level up from what you think you need, they still haven't gotten the perfect range estimates, and make sure you go off voltage not battery indicator
I recommend everyone stay away from these low end scooters I'm sure he'd be happy with a dualtron eagle, Victor, or a spider 2, these all go about 40 miles an hour, for about $1,000 less than he's put into his cheap scooter starting off, it also comes with a fast charger so you can usually charge them in 3 hours and get about 80 mi of range if lightly coasting looking at about 40 mi of range if your a speed King

English revisit of the inmotion V5?
I used an e-scooter as my primary vehicle during COVID. They are a great option, and I'm totally an evangelist for people using them instead of cars. For me, the reason that I'm switching to an EUC is because of the larger tire and water proofing they can ride in the snow, and I live in the mid-west USA where we get lots of snow each year. The way I see it is if you live in a dry climate with no snow then a scooter is probably a great option as a replacement for a car, otherwise get yourself a good weatherproof EUC. You can find good quality e-scooters that don't break down a lot, you just have to shop around and watch a zillion reviews just like with EUC's.
*EDIT*
After riding an EUC for a couple of days now I'll add that EUC's are much better for your health. I'm finding that it's a good workout riding an EUC. I also find it to be much more fun to ride since there's the added skill requirement, and the better your skill the more enjoyment you get! Plus you just look a lot cooler riding an EUC.
ive never ridden a euc but id rather a good e scooter, because having handles and two wheels is funner
Lmao comparing apples and oranges
Good stuff, nice to see someone come to our side
Side.... Our side, the other side... good side, bad side... we're the elite, the rest is crap... I thought the EUC community was kinda cool but here we are...
I got a scooter first then about a year later got a unicycle I been riding my unicycle all the time
The Uni reigns supreme, you get the best performance in the most compact package.
I sold my mantis pro for my 16x 🤘
IMO the only major problem of the m365 is the folding mechanism and water ingress to the bearings. Everything else is either unavoidable by any PMV (like punctures - If you replaced 20 tubes on the m365, then you'll probably replace 10 tubes on the EUC) or tech illiteracy. IMO a suspension on the m3665 is a downgrade due to its shitty design. If you need suspension - than buy a scooter with one that has it installed from the factory. Brake pads can last an eternity, just use the electric brake. And the screws - use threadlock.
The Germans used bicycles and Horses for their attack upon Stalin's USSR...indeed most soldiers flat out were marched into the Combat Zone. Clearly we have moved far beyond that now!
Such an elegant solution and so much fun too
Just terrible decisions on that scooter... like why spend 3 times what it was new. And to ride it with no hands to make the transition to an entirely different vehicle platform, just doesn't make sense.
Somehow survived, the sherman max its not a step or a leap that's a bound lol 😆 should be a reliable, safer and more fun.
For 3.5k you could get Nami Burn E. To waste this amount of money on a freakin' Xiaomi is insane (also it looks ugly after all these mods). But it's their money, they can do whatever they want. :) Thing about safety: every electric tool is dangerous if you don't have any braincells.
@@MAXTOR00 I thought the same thing… compare any EUC to a Nami and this video suddenly becomes useless
Do the other trail users give you sh*t about riding the EUC on "their" paths? They certainly do where I live. People never like it when something different appears. And they are technically right because our bike paths are posted with "No motorized vehicles" - but in that case, ebikes should be prohibited as well. I remember years ago when mountain bikes first came out (the early 80's), pedestrians and equestrians were not pleased with the new trail users and much trouble ensued. EUCs today are much less numerous than mountain bikes were at that time period.
Man absolutely i trade my wolf king kaboo whitout any hesitation or grief jajaja euc its the best otjer devices ..........wrong way brothers 😀
EV bikes are similar. You buy "low cost " 1-2 thousand, but then at 800 miles or so you need slime tubes for flats, at 1000 you need new tires and brake pads. by 4000 miles you might have to have replaced the motor, new bearing, lots of tires n tubes, broken spokes, brake pads, pedals and add ons. Then you look at Honda C90s and they seem so much more durable, why not EV bikes?
Well he had a bad scooter if he had an actually good scooter it would be more fair comparison
I made the right choice (EUC) from the very beginning, thanks to this Wrong Way channel as well.
All the videos "EUC lots better than scooters" are such scrap. You know EUC is not some secret technology its actually available everywhere. If it was so much better people would actually use it more. Instead scooters are getting more and more popular EUC is just not so atractive alternative.
It's because on EUC you need to learn how to ride them.

An urban use for commuting is way safer
This just proves what I've thought , people who ride e-scooters don't have an EUC or THAT is what they would be riding. I can't think of even one reason to buy an e-scooter as an EUC rider. If I have the money to buy a scooter, I'd get the Begode T4 or Master Pro. 😁👍

I really don’t get the point of this video. It never explains why he actually switched. A scooter is better is every aspect except 1, and that is danger level = more thrill in an EUC. Scooters go faster, they’re safer, they go further, more power, more practical for commuting. If he had bought a 3,800€ scooter instead of a 500€ scooter we wouldn’t be having this discussion. There’s scenarios where you ride primarily a scooter and secondary EUC, but there’s no scenarios where an EUC replaces a scooter with all its utility.
The mileage, charging time, maintenance, and free hands.
Plus the fact that you can take EUC everywhere
@@FujikoSimp69000 the mileage - compared to a scooter 1/8 it’s price. There’s scooters with higher range than this EUC. Not to mention no one in the history of EUC has driven it from full charge to empty because it would take took long and it wears you out. Charge time - again shitty scooter. Most high end scooters come with fast chargers that can charge in 4-6 hrs fully. Maintenance - it’s the exact same setups, with all the same parts but with 1 less wheel.
