I agree, but there is one point isn't that right, the training time. He says: 30 minutes or hours. Ok, I learn on that time, but to go outside on street, even sidewalks, you take a lot more time to be confident

This is all really great information.
I have bad knees( many operations,) and can't walk very far without pain. I can ride my EUC for hours with no knee pain. It's really empowering.
The mental health benefits are also amazing. My journeys are now adventures instead of boring commutes.
Riding also improved my abdominal strength, I have a noticeable six pack now which makes my wife very happy 😊 (It's definitely from the EUC because,, honestly, it's the only daily physical activity I do.)

Similarly, I've got severe chronic back pain and foot pain. The EUC has been liberating and hopefully it will be even better when I get suspension and a faster wheel.

The reason i started to ride a EUC my 2 year old son had brain cancer and since he was going thru that if i took the subway i wouldn't be able to see him. Made it to i could spend every night with my son in the hospital till he got out. now 3 years in and put over 30k miles on any wheel i had and i cant see myself without a wheel... 2 weeks ago a car run a red light and hit me at 25 miles broke my sherman waiting to repair it but i miss riding and its been 2 weeks....
P.s when are you coming out to NYC it would be great to have you here. and if you need a place to stay with some polish friends i got you. LET US KNOW

One thing I notice is the positive encounters I have with strangers. Before riding one I thought I might encounter animosity but, since EUCs are still pretty new and novel, people are just curious. I've had several brief chats with people about what it is, how hard it is to ride, and how far/fast it can go and have also had many people shout positive stuff as I pass like "that's sick bro", "wow that's so cool". I haven't yet had a single person be negative about it or criticise it. It's nice to have that momentary connection with a stranger.

    Hey Adam,
Background: I am 51 years old with a varied past. I am an engineer that has played soccer, was a runner in my 30s, raced motorcycles (off-road and road-racing over 200mph) my whole life and a personal trainer in a gym. I do like to be healthy and feel good but I find myself lazy some parts of my life. The pandemic just assisted me to be more lazy and out of shape.
I got a V10F three weeks ago because I got it for a third of the price with 60 miles on it. Turns out that I really have a great wheel for me. I have done most all sports in my life but this is the hardest for me yet. Especially being out of shape pretty bad. Every ride is me chanting “please don’t kill me” and I have a load of medium/minor injuries that go with it.
Three week status: wow! I wish that I had this forever. I only have 25 miles under my belt and I’m not comfortable at all on it. I get better every day. I take it easy and practice for only about 30 minutes at a time and take days off to rest my old body. I have a long term goal and not a short term need. It will be my commute to work when I am capable (6.64mi).
Physical improvements: I sit all of the time. Period. I try to stand at times but seated is my normal day. Since the EUC, I have had numerous improvements that are remarkable for such a short time. My ENTIRE core is improving! That’s abdominals, lower back, hip-flexors and glutes. Back pain reduction and posture improving already. The change is dramatic already. Considering I am in such poor shape, I can see a huge change. Knee and ankle strength are also improving dramatically. The lateral and medial support muscles in my knees were sore for a bit from holding this thing in position but I can feel the positive effects. Walking is easier and “stronger”, for the lack of a better description. I can stand from a seated position with ease without pushing on my knees or using my arms as a pendulum. Not counting my injuries, the benefits are overwhelmingly surprising already.
I went on my first real trip, if you want to call it that. I rode 2 miles and got a burger and came back home. For fun, I counted it as a workout on my AppleWatch and it really was eye opening. Sure, much of this is because I am a beginner and totally frightened the entire time but my heartrate was between 150-170BPM the entire time! Oh yes, I worked up a sweat in the Texas heat for sure.
An EUC is definitely an excellent supplement to any workout schedule. The air, silence, pleasure and sun are just a fabulous bonus!

I started losing my balance due to a yet to be diagnosed nervous system issue (possibly Gulf War Syndrome). EUC riding has helped me in that area and more. Totally agree with the stress free and happiness reasons! Two of the main reasons why I ride. Nothing like arriving at work with a smile on your face and the knowledge that you have an awesome ride ahead of you at the end of the work day. I love it. Here in Australia though, the only stress that one might encounter is that danger of getting pulled over by Highway Patrol. Road/PEV laws here are so behind the times. Hopefully things are moving towards a more positive outcome soon. Thanks for the vid mate, always enjoy your content!

    I love the EUC.
Riding it for a bit more than 8 years.
Only thing that could become a issue is knee pain as you ride to much, and get older.
However reducing the tire pressure or riding a suspension EUC helps with that.
I used to sit for 8-10h working every day, and had back pain.
The EUC solved that completely 🥰

Some fantastic points you have made in this video. I was wondering about core strength with an euc v electric scooter( what I ride now). What I didn't realise was an euc being better for your back and knees and arms. I figured an euc being better on your hands obviously but never considered the back and knees. I can second the knee pain after surgery. I have had 2 operations on my left knee and fractured it a third time after those. I have an electric bike that I can throttle without pedaling, but, 20 mph just feels, ehhhh, boring... so I always end up pedaling to get to that 30mph mark. My knee/s always end up in some pain. I'm a newer EUC rider, but, while on my EXN I can do 20 miles quite easily with ZERO knee pain and quite the opposite, my knees both actually feel better for daily use whilst riding my EXN/EUC rather than cycling or even walking.

Vitamin D? I do have to wonder how much Vitamin D you can collect with such a small skin area available to the sunlight :) Still, better than inside for sure. I understand this video was made when it was maybe a little cooler outside but even when warmer, safety gear is recommended. On the other hand, there were a lot of points I had not thought of. Good video.
Your points about active braking were very good too.
Selling the EUC as a cycle for people with some disability (bad back, wrist, neck, etc.) might be an interesting legal argument. That banning EUCs from bike paths is prejudicial against people with disabilities. Get some doctors riding them...

My experience is a little different, a passer by asked if riding was good exercise, my response I did not consider it exercise. My calves do get a workout, my balance has improved somewhat. If I try to ride relaxed there is usually a bump or crack the reminds me to ride proactively. I'm interested in a wheel that smooths out the ride on the unpredictable asphalt trails in my area. My first choice is the king song s20, though of all the specs, none have shown estimated range, still waiting for that fact. I might be interested in the monster pro, maybe a trip to a stocking store where a test ride could be available before deciding. I enjoy riding, areas other than mine seem to have better riding trails and/or paths than here, but still ride because of the unique experience of riding an electric wheel, may all your rides be trouble free

This touches on a key point that is often overlooked. A form of exercise you enjoy may well have longer term benefits than a more efficient one that you don't for the simple reason that you'll keep doing it. I hate running and get really bored at the gym so I do martial arts, climbing, and ride my EUC because these are things I really enjoy.

Back pain can be from weak abdominal muscles. The back muscles work over time to make up for the lack of abdominal strength. Bad posture can also lead to back pain. I ride euc and a road bike up to 80 miles a day. I have no back pain. I'm 48 and workout to stay fit. Taking a poll is not a scientific study. There is a lot of disinformation in this video.

    Quick questions
If I've already installed velcro on the sides of my Monster Pro, will that cover go fit over or did you have to remove the velcro first?
If you had to remove it, what did you use to remove it?
Any help you can provide will be appreciated it.
