Great unbiased review again. For me the Mevo+ is still the best. I want more than an expensive toy that reads carry distances. From day one I wanted to be able to work on my swing and playing was second. The FSGolfPC software is amazing and included in the price with Pro Package. It allows you to have multi camera review with full metrics in one package which is simply amazing for the price and last, no damn subscription fees. It's great to see that even after almost 4 years the mevo+ would still be the best choice for me.
Great review!! I was just looking around to get updated info on launch monitors since I have been using my Mevo+ w/ Pro Package (and GS Pro) for a few years now. I have it dialed in where I rarely have misreads and putting has been great the last couple of years. The RCT ball was a game changer. Prior to this, you had to place your golf ball on the hitting mat with the silver dot facing the screen. After a while, that got really old. With the RCT ball, it's just drop it and hit it. I have had to get and new charging cord and battery, but very minor fixes. I'm glad to hear you feel that the Mevo+ is still a great unit. I would agree!! Oh yeah, the left and right handed player thing (my Son is a lefty), this is a big plus towards the Mevo+ as well.
Great review. I'm definitely in that unique "high ball speed / low launch" camp and whenever I use a Bushnell Launch Pro at this indoor golf place I go to my driver numbers are sometimes wildly off which always puzzled me. Whereas when I go to an outdoor range with my Mevo + the numbers are always spot on.
It’s a weird issue for sure. Foresight seems to ignore my support requests which is not fun. I got fitted for a new driver which has a higher launch and higher spin so I no longer have the issue but when I had it, it was maddening
If you were planning to use for only a right or only a left handed golfer, what would the minimum width be for Mevo+? In my garage I have about 11.5' from cinder block wall to a metal support beam that would be in front of me as a righty. Sonos have 8-9' unit to ball, 8'+ ball to screen and the pole pretty much even with the ball maybe 3 feet from it. Hope that all makes sense.
Mevo plus with pro package and face impact will beat Bushnell launch pro and gc3 for data any given day. i was going to switch, then saw what they gc3 and launch pro offer for data, I'm staying put with Mevo, till the other brands can catch up.
I have a lot of problems with short chips and putting on the Mevo+. I would say it drops at least 50% of theses no matter how accurate my setup alignment and spacing is.
You can upgrade later if you want! Don’t have to buy it upfront, it’s just a digital add on. If you end up buying it tonight, use our link if you can! No worries if not!
@@GolfBusters Nice, good to know! I was going to buy directly from Bushnell but I don't mind helping you out. I'll check out playbetter and see if they offer any perks with the purchase.
Thanks so much for taking the time to put together these reviews! It looks like the shot delay for your Mevo + is at a minimum when you hit. Did you do something intentionally to minimize the delay between hit and the ball on the screen?
Hey dude! I love your videos, I had a quick question, how do i get the club path data on the screen on the bottom right hand corner? I'm pulled up the launch advanced but then it kicks me out of full screen mode. Thank you!
Im using the mevo plus right now on my phone. For the pro plus package will I still get that info on IOS or do I need to get a laptop and use the pro package on that?
For me anything above a 7 iron is just so inaccurate with the Mevo plus. I have tried every possible things in setup and setting with the unit and 6-driver is just horrible.
That’s weird, when I’ve tested the Mevo my carry yardages for those clubs are within a yard of the BLP with a Little more variance for driver and 3 wood. My guess is it’s settings related because carry yardages with the Mevo plus are up there with the top devices on the market from my tests. Whats your dimensions Mevo to ball, ball to screen, and are you using rct balls and selecting the rct ball option in game?
I do 8ft mevo to ball and then 10ft of ball flight. I use prov1x rct balls and selecting them also using the indoor setting. I have a faster swing speed, but could it be lighting related? Would not enough light throw it off? I recently got fitted for a driver on a gcquad and on mevo I’m consistently 30-40 yards short on carry distance and 5mph slow on clubhead speed
Won’t be lighting related, I would recommend using gspro as I find yardages are better on their but from my tests gc3 and Mevo+ carry yardages have no noticeable difference.
For seekers of scratch, I think the lack of face angle data is a killer for BLP/GC3. It's super portable, range-friendly, and accurate. And clearly is great for simulator golf. But Foresight has a big hole in their product lineup from $3500 to (almost) $20K.
Hey WizardofCoz, I trust the spin on both devices. When I’ve tested both units intensively their spin is both within 200rpm of trackman on every club after 100s of shots. and the same goes from mevo+ to gc3.
@GolfBusters I wouldn't trust trackman indoors on spin either. I suppose trackman gets better with rct ball. Played fella with mevo on 2 man scramble the other day. He was definitely handicapped for sim play. Indoors doppler is no match to photometric. Spin is 👑
Was he using rct balls on the Mevo? I would tend to disagree for spin based on testing all the devices. I think the radar is much better than what people think.

Would love to see a comparison with the Uneekor Eye Mini Lite.
Coming soon!
Does having the face impact pack activated help with the gear effect detection?

If your only using one handed you can totally make 11.5 feet of width work!

Thanks for the honest review! Helps a lot.
The BLP can read putts where the Mevo+ cannot correct?
Mevo can read putts but not quite as well as the BLP.
@caddy1771 not if you play on the autoputt tour 😎
Trying to buy a Bushnell Launch Pro tonight, can't decide if I want the ball and club data or not

If you wait past the trial period to buy the club data it will cost an additional $250

If you have fusion tracking off it goes faster but doesn’t pick up impact location

Hey Justin! That is an overlay, we usually have that on a second monitor
where did you hear E6 buying GSPRO?
How do you get club path and club face impact to show on the GSPro
Make sure you’ve entered your code into FS golf and then if you clicked advanced settings on the gspro pop up it should show up.
How do we display the GSPro advanced club impact screens on screen, and on secondary screen, have not seen that before...
In the pop up with flightscope click advanced settings
@@GolfBustersI get that, but you were showing parts of the advanced imaging on your big screen…
3:05 can see the advanced imaging in screen and your secondary screen
Ahh, i overlayed that via editing.
that is just wrong, was excited :P thanks good stuff, appreciate it!!! @@GolfBusters

Did he just say I think the blp is more accurate?
Say it again. Without accurate spin good luck with your carry numbers.

The Mevo seems like the way to go. I don't want a subscription.
