I have to point out that Ladytron are immensely successful at making the precise sound that they are going for. There's nothing just "promising" about them. They are perfectionists when it comes to making albums. Daniel Hunt spoke of how he (and others in LT) will often spend a whole year mapping out just one song in his head before even touching an instrument. Along the same logic that Ian MacKaye of Fugazi stands by: If your judging greatness by record sales, your forgetting to use your ears.

This is one of the neatest videos I've seen in a while. Usually with videos I just leave them playing in the background while I listen to the music, but I found the imagery in this one compelling. It seems to borrow from the Pre-Raphaelites. I love what the director did with the mushrooms.

FIFA or no FIFA this song is just plane awesome. This is not the type of music I usually listen to, but I'm not deaf when it comes to other genres as well. Though the video is not exactly the reflection of what the music can inspire, it's still quite a remarkable one, easy amongst the best 100 of all time vids.

J'ai découvert ce groupe le 24 septembre 2016 sur you tube. j'ai écouté les cinq albums et j'adore. Cette chanson est magnifique et le clip est trop beau. De plus, la chanteuse a une très belle voix. Les synthés sont vintage, j'ai reconnu le VCS 3. mais le groupe utilise surtout des korg MS 20 ou aussi un korg DELTA.

I'm playing FIFA 11 and this is on the soundtrack. Great song, it's great in the background when ur on the menus or managing your team. This was one of many good and quirky songs on the soundtrack, I don't think FIFA 12's soundtrack is as good, so much so that I am trying to find a way to import 11's songs into 12. Again great song and I might look these guys up.

This is a Masterpiece of Synth Pop.... only the synths can make that possible
I always enjoy watching musicians "play" a VCS3 synthesizer like the "Putney" since they were never considered to be the most "musical" of synths at the time. Certainly not like a Moog or ARP that had a keyboard. Just as well to play it as a sound processor like Brian Eno does in the Roxy Music video for... "Ladytron"!
