For me this is the perfect price to build a PC to play the vast majority of available games and you won't lose anything, and to work it is more than enough.

I remember buying a Mobo, 16mb ram, and AMD K6-2 550mhz cpu for $200, new. That was 1998.
It's nuts that a used GPU alone costs more now.

    its a solid build , but i recommend 3 changes ..
32 gb of ram instead of 16 , for ddr5 32gb is the price too performance sweet spot, and changing the vase to a solid 50-60(neo air 2 ), usd case will keep the bugget around 800 usd . But you can spend a bit more for a case that you think looks good
For 300 usd on the ued market you can get a 6800 non xt, it performs 10-15% better and has 2x the vram ,. the 3070 in modern deanding games is Vram limited .

I remember the other 800 Dollars PC build with the Ryzen 5 7600, I actually built my own pc for the first time after watching your vidéo. I also went with the used RTX 3070 (best choice in my opinion) and the ryzen 5 7600 for 170 euros of German Amazon, but for the rest, prices where a little higher (I live in France). And I happen to play the Finals a lot too and even on a AMD CPU it seams to crash a bit. I think those builds are the best for performance to price ratio for a smooth gaming experience. Thanks a lot tho, I’ll never regrette buying my pc after your recommendations spec wise. Love from France ❤

I know this is over kill but would a 7900gre or a 3080 founder’s edition fit in the case? Also I have loved the builds you have been doing lately keep up the good work.

Honestly great build, personally I’d run the rx6800 instead of a 3070. Mainly because 8gbs is becoming more and more of a hindrance.

AMD Prefers dual channel I would prefer to spend another $30 for set of 32gb 6000 for around $84-$85. Plus this build has really great upgrade path on the CPU might as well

With peripherals I'm guessing the actual price would be closer to $1000 or so? Any suggestions for mouse, keyboard and monitor? With this build, should I get a 1440p display?

put your core speed to 5.3 instead of the 5.7 in intel extreme tuning utility and unreal engine games should run just fine. for me this works, im using the I9 14900kf. before i did this my games would crash to, including the finals.

Wanted to ask a genuine question about this PC. I'm looking to start recording gameplay from mainly The Finals, Valorant etc. and I was wondering if this can edit videos in Premiere pro with ease. I am not looking to stream, Like I said just mainly record through OBS. I have a Surface Pro 3 however it does have issues in lag when I start editing in transitions and things like that. I mainly play through my PS5, as I have an El Gato 4K x and I am wanting to record and edit videos in 1440p 60 FPS. Thank you for any responses I may get.

PS5 Pro releases at 700 bucks, which plus tax is like 780 bucks. PS5 only has 23 games (but is backwards compatible).
PCs can play basically any videogame ever made, and can be upgraded for the future as new tech and games release.
The argument for "needing a monitor" for a PC is pretty silly since you need a TV or Monitor to use a PlayStation.
    PC is always the answer
