Use B-roll all the time and add what b-roll I want to input when I write my color coded script (OCD much? Lol). Most times I use storyblocks but if i can't find what i need then I'll shoot it myself.
Solo content creator right here! Thank you so much for clarifying the difference between A-roll and B-roll! I take all of my own photos and shoot as much video content as I can, on my own, but also with the help of my brother if he's available 😁.
just started trying to make youtube videos and trying to get better every week. This weeks goal is B-roll and I've watched a ton of videos on the topic. I really found this was they best one yet, no waste, straight to the point and helped from filming to the final product. I can't wait to get to try this
I am a solo creator. I have a travel channel and ALMOST bought access to b-roll sites. I quickly realized that I am OUT there, traveling and have all the footage I need, with some exceptions. Thank you, so much for showing me how easy it is to incorporate B-Roll into my videos. I am entering my 2nd year in RUclips and I want to hit it with a bang with some pro upgrades. Appreciate you!
I’m a new solo creator! I just started my channel recently and I’m having fun learning all about editing! This video is great because I randomly get B roll and try to use it when I can but I need to start planning it out. I realized how much it elevates the video. Thanks so much for making these great videos!
I'm a solo creator right now. I have sooo many things that come in mind with this power of b roll with my style of videos 😁😁 but that's not until I have someone that can shoot with me. Yes I try to implement b roll! Also most of my videos are tutorials
Hi BVO MASTER CHONG, Consider a robotic head for Your camera. That device will follow You as You move. Consideration for inside or outside. There are different technologies used depending upon environment and speed of motion.
I've just started incorporating B roll in my recent videos and I love the complexity and professionalism that it imparts. Thanks for this video and I would love a more detailed video on editing workflow for B roll and videos in general. I know there are a lot out there, but coming from a content source that I rely on to be clear and concise is always nice. Poetry.
Solo creator, here. I just started my channel two months ago, doing gear reviews from a large, heavy endurance athlete's perspective. I'm wanting to incorporate b-roll to improve my production value in hopes of improving viewership. You've presented a nice, descriptive tutorial, here. Thanks!
I'm a single creator, and I struggle with some creative and editing issues. I greatly appreciate your video tutorials. It helps tremendously to have efficient and effective techniques in this art. 👊🏾👍🏾
Excellent job of breaking this down into small steps. Thankfully hubby has experience with his own channel so he is helping me with set up. We needed new editing software so I took the plunge and started learning Davinci Resolve. Loving it so far.
As a solo and new creator I use B-Roll more & more. The best tip I got from this video was just laying the camera down while shooting B-Roll. Super simple and will help speed up the workflow. Good Tips, Thanks!
I’m an independent solo creator of sorts. I’m a CLO and I’ve been looking for more engaging ways to train employees. I decided to try my hand at video editing, and found myself creating training videos that lacked the ability to engage the audience. So here I am. I love the tip about covering mistakes with b-roll.
This was so interesting to watch. It’s amazing how I overlooked broll in videos before but now I’m learning how all these go into making videos that I like watching.
Great video, really enjoyed that. I have added b-roll to some of my videos, they are great fun and very effective. Thanks for sharing, I need to do more b-roll. I am a solo creator and that can be challenging.
this is actually the best tutorial I've ever watched. Plain, simple, and straight to the point. The equipment used are also makes sense, not like those tutorials with "professional-grade" equipments. Thanks once again !
I'm experimenting with this to extend my watch time. I've only done it on one video, but the watch time on that video was 62.5% and I do believe it is because of the b-roll!
Currently a solo creator; I've been thinking about building up a library of b-roll shots so that I can use them interchangeably in a number of different videos and save time from having to do b-roll for each individual video.
I am a solo creator and kept hearing about BRoll but not sure what it was or even why it was important. Straightforward easy to understand video that I found extremely helpful.
Newbie here and I was wondering what B Roll was...now I easily recognize it in other's videos and will be working to implement it into some of mine. Thank you for making it so simple to see...now off to give it a try!
Watched this video after finishing Session 3 of 7 Day RUclips Influence Course. I didn't even know what B Roll was when I woke up this morning! Many thanks!!
yes I use B-roll much better than people just looking at me. Great for when I do Travel Product reviews or if talking about a certain travel location or something of course I put in clips of that place. B-Roll is a must! I sometimes have an overhead camera (second camera) on while I am doing a product demo or open box segment to capture real time as I talk about it.
Think media has been so helpful and instrumental to my channel growth. I can’t afford the camera yet, but soon I will. I tried using b roll on one of my lemonade videos and I was impressed with the views.
Wow! Your content is amazing! I apparently already do B-Roll by adding a bunch of other images lol. I will def try shooting other sequences to add to my video. Sometimes it’s hard since I film outside primarily #solocreator
Omar Eltakrori Oh no I don’t! Do you have any recommendations on which one to get? In the video I’m editing now, I noticed I’m squinting a bit since the sun was in my eyes #thepartymustcontinue lol
you literally summed this up about B roll so easy for folks like me who didn't understand a more in depth definition of it. I totally get it now!! Thanks!
I just started using B-Roll a few weeks ago on my christian life coaching channel (especially for single Christian women). I'm still a beginner so this video was super helpful.
Am a single Creator of news channel. Your tutorials is quite informative, even though I have been familiar with the B-roll, i have never heard as against an A-roll. Thanks for the tutorials
I’m a upcoming solo creator and my craft is getting better in better by the seconds I’m dreading learning and figuring out ways to boost my establishments thanks for your awesome vids.
Since the pandemic started i was out of work of being a chef and started shooting cooking videos and man i tell you, It's hard shooting by yourself. It can be done but it's very challenging to show what you want the audience to see!
B Roll is so fun to do, even with my expressions, tuning a guitar, pluging a wire, etc. Learned about B Roll-ing from working the camera at my church. Fully understood it here...thanks guys for the tips and tricks 🙌🏻
Thanks for this opportunity to ask you a question. If I use an IPhone to record the B roll and the A roll content with a camera, can I use the phone content with the A roll? I film top down with the IPhone during a live demo.
Heck yea - just reenact after your shoot your aroll - you can also have your aroll play in the background on your computer / laptop to help with being in sync
Boyyyyyy you just cast us jewels! I always wondered how to put the video on top of my video while I’m talking. I never understood how to use broll. Super easy!
Just starting to use B roll and it's much better, less boring. Thank you. I would also like tips on how to make the whole process for solo RUclipsrs faster.
Yo, do a video about which laptops are good laptops to do edits on. I know the MacBook Pro 16inch is a good one but it’s super expensive. Give some ideas on laptops and what those laptops need to work properly with premiere pro, 1080, 2.7k, or 4K.
