Just look at you!!!!! I'm so VERY,VERY PROUD of you!!!! Your doing soooooo good! You make me want to watch this everyday!
You're so kind...thank you G❤️
i love what your saying about the powder! I'm throwing all eye shadow OUT!!!!!
I agree about cream eye shadows looking better on mature eyes. I’m looking forward to seeing everything you try. Thank you so much! 😊
Thanks for exploring shadows, I have the same issue and trying to perfect constantly !!
Trying to bring out our eyes!! I just filmed a short video on applying gel eyeliner which I think is much easier than a pencil!! You'll have to let me know what you think. I hope to have it up by Thursday!! Take care Karen❤️
Thank you for helping us with this
You are so welcome!! Thank you for stopping by! Take care, Darlia
I have an extensive powder eyeshadow pallet collection. I find your observations to be true about how they can age mature eyes. I still want to wear them. However, I have found that eye prep is key. I apply good moisturizer, then an eyeshadow primer, lightly powder lids to set it, apply powder shadow, and then lightly mist with setting spray. It works fine for me. Also, there are some good drugstore cream shadow options. I really like Revlon cream eyeshadow pots. I do like some liquid shadows as well. No fuss, easy to wear. I do like a little shimmer applied in the center of the lid only as that's the smoothest place on my eyelid.
Hi Happy New Year!! Thank you so much for leaving a comment. Apologies for not getting back to you sooner🙏❤ It sounds like you have got a good system for sure!! Take care, Darlia
Love Armani. The color is amazing. MAC Painterly would be beautiful with light skin and blonde hair. Thanks for sharing crème shadows. I’ve been willing to try.
Yes!! These colors are so easy to use and very wearable💄
Loved the makeup and your tips
Hello Elaine!! Thank you so much!! That means a lot to me❤ I would love you to subscribe and join me!! Take care, Darlia
You just popped up on my you tube screen, enjoyed your presentation. I always wear an eye primer whether I wear eye shadows or not! I really like the Laura Mercier eyeshadow primer. There are so many powder eye shadows that I love the color choices but , yes they have to be used with careful brush strokes, some are more of a problem than others , like Tom Fords eye shadows, I won't be buying them in the future. I haven't worn the Mac pots but will check out the pink shades!
Hi thank you for commenting!! I think you would love the pinker Mac shade...it's really pretty and I do love the consistency!! Sincerely, Darlia
Have you tried the Laura Mercier caviar sticks? Love them. I also like your eyes with the light colors. Got to look at the Armani’s.
Hi Sandra!! The reason I don't wear the shadow sticks is I don't care for the application...the stick doesn't feel user friendly. I love a cream formula that I can warm up with my fingers.
This is great info
Thank you Jennifer!! Take care, Darlia
I love you this! Thanks so much for this! This is so helpful 😊
I'm so glad🙏❤ Thank you, Darlia
Happy New Year!! You are so welcome!! Thank you for being here🙏❤
I have the same issue, powder eyeshadows’ do not work anymore. I’ve tried a bunch, and for now the only one working, doesn’t crease, or dry on my eye lids is Bobbi Brown! It’s a nice feeling! Amazing! Soo creamy for my wrinkle eye lids! 😂👍 Laura Mercier, doesn’t work for me. Anyhow, enjoy the journey! 🙋🏻♀️👏👏👏 and thank you! 🙏
Happy New Year!! Thank you for leaving this comment!! I'm sorry it took me so long to respond🙏 I hope to continue to discover more to show you!! Take care, Darlia
I just can't with these eyeshadow pallets. I have recently gotten so into the creamy sticks for the eyes. I love the Laura Mercier creamy thick pencils. I cant remember the name but they are great.
Thank you for letting me know...I will go check them out!! xo, Darlia
Happy New Year!! I know a lot of people love their sticks!! Take care, Darlia
Hi...so glad I found you on YT! I am 41 w/very expressive deep set green eyes. Just getting into make-up later-in-life. While I love powders, glitters, & metallicas, after watching your video, I am betting cream would be fantastic. I appreciate your explanations & dig your vibe. One request, when you list products on-screen, it'd be nice to see price. (I realize it can change, but helps to have a reference point, imo FYI) .Subscribed from Ohio 😊
Hi Leah!! So nice to meet you❤ I appreciate your suggestions and will start listing the prices! I'm so excited you found me. Take care, Darlia
Happy New Year Leah!! Let me know if you try any of these. I am now including the prices so you can see it right away...great suggestion thank. you!! Take care, Darlia
Hello! Glad you liked the idea & it's lovely to hear from you.
I totally checked out the links & really love the Mac Paint Pots (like almost every color), but it's going to be a sec cuz I spent $150 on 4 palettes from Oden's Eye as my Christmas gift to myself. Beyond that, I had to focus on my 4 kiddos! Lol, they had a great Christmas too, but I'll keep these in mind for the new year. Happy New Year to you & yours! ❤
I’ve really been liking cream shadow sticks ( various brands.) My biggest gripe about them is that it can be difficult in finding good neutrals. So many tend to be glittery or funky colors, which are too young for me. Lol
It's much more gentle
if you use your ring finger on your area's..
Thank you for sharing I'm looking forward to
Happy New Year!! I'm so happy you are here🙏 Darlia
I had come to the same conclusion about eyeshadow - the powders show every tiny crease and wrinkle on my lids. Metallic and shimmery types of shadow emphasize imperfections. How about reviewing the Merit cream shadows and the Jones Road? Would love to see more reviews of products that work on old skin. Many YT channels say they are about "mature" or "over 50" women and imo they aren't much different from the channels targeting younger women.
I agree!! I want to continue to source textures that are easy to use and apply with ease❤ Take care!!
Happy New Year!! I plan on trying the Merit cream shadows and will check out the Jones Road as well!! I want to find makeup and skincare products for women over 50 that look natural, fresh, and leave our skin glowing. Thank you for following!! Take care, Darlia
Finally someone in my age range who actually mention the word crepy 😮 I've found a few others, but they have the bucks to get that taken care of and that is not me. My videos are about makeup is fun and not necessarily about "age appropriate " because I will not be simply relegated to sub-section of society that should be forgotten. Nope nope nope, I'm here and I'm going to be too loud for you to ignore 😂😂😂😂😂I had painterly, but I like shimmer so I got one of those (cannot remember the name right now) but I'm a very serious shimmer girl. I hope we can become friends and I hope to learn from you. 😊😘💖😘💖😘💖😘💖😘💖😘😘😘💖 have you tried the merit?
Happy New Year Brigitte!! So excited to meet you🙏❤ I agree...I am not here to be boxed into my age!! I'm right with you, I feel more alive and empowered now at 65 than I have ever felt in my whole life. I am so happy to make your acquaintance Brigitte!! I subscribed and am so excited to watch you as well!! Sincerely, Darlia
I just bought powder bc my skin even eyes are oily.
Hi!! I do get it❤ I think I have seen creme shadows that dry down to a powder. I wonder if those would offer you any benefits. Thank you so much for being here!! Darlia
Happy New Year!! I know a lot of people love setting powders. I have not tried them. Take care, Darlia
Be better for your eyelids if you'd use
A brush or a more gentle ring finger
Do you have any more bargain friendly cream shadows,
Please?
I will look into those...they are needed!! Happy New Year!! Take care, Darlia
I use a combination of powder and creme eyeshadow. The secret to powder is prepping your lids. I
Hi Terry! I'm so happy you're here❤️ Darlia
What about liquid shadows? With setting powder?
YES!!! Off the top of my head I cannot think of any...have you seen any? ❤i am going to order some RMS creme shadows that come in a tube...I think they could be fun as well!! I personally am leary of using powder and just stick to cremes on my face. Thank you for being here Lynn!! Darlia
Happy New Year!! I want to try some liquids!! I know people swear by setting powders I may check it out!! Thank you for being here❤ Take care, Darlia
Aw you are sweet I just came across your channel and subscribed to Merry Christmas Jesus is the reason for life Amen ❤❤❤❤
Happy New Year Angie!! Thank you so much for subscribing and commenting!! I really appreciate it...I subscribed as well and cannot wait to watch you🙏Take care, Darlia
@@darliaugalde thank Darla Happy New Year to you as well❤️✝️🙏
Any drug store shadow suggestions?
Happy New Year Jeanette!! I will see if I can find some drug store shadows. I'm sure they are out there. The only challenge is that they don't provide testers so you cannot try them before purchasing. There are others requesting this so I will make it a point to do some research!! Thank you for being here❤ Take care, Darlia
