Yes, indeed! I recently found the iT Cosmetics Superhero No-Tug Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick in the color Bare & Brave a brownish Pinky nude - they describe it as a matte rose. It may end up replacing my beloved MAC paint pot in painterly. anyway, I understand - mattes are so hard to find!

Happy holidays! I do love cream shadows. I have a lot of sticks? I use one particular bobbi brown stick (in "dusty mauve") for almost literally every time I have to go work in person these days and I need a very quick makeup look. I find cream eye shadows are the perfect one and done look. I will check out some of these pots!

Hi Maggie. I discovered your channel last week and instantly subscribed. I have used Revlon 4 pallet Illuminance Crème Shadow for years. My favorite pallet is Not Just Nudes. Mature influencers never discuss it, but it’s almost fool proof to use and less than $10. Best wishes your channel grows in 2022!

The Revlon creams look great. Ill def try at least one.My powder shadows look good too though. Especially after I spray my face with setting spray, powders look skin like.

Danessa Myricks color fix would be a better choice overall imho, because of the great glide. They are like a thick lotion/ a true cream, so even if the skin moves around a lot you can make them work easily.

I totally agree about Revlon vs Maybelline. I had urbanite but didn’t like the greasiness. Can you use Revlon espresso instead, along with black currant, to get your eye look?

I can't use powder shadows anymore. The colors don't show up on my eyes. Recently I got white eye primer m as the that will help. I did get as mini Laura M cream shadow and it looked better but incredibly pricey!

Yes, I do use an eyeshadow primer! It really helps to make last longer on my eyelids. When I test cream shadows I don't start with a primer so I can see if I actually need one.

I just bought a MAC Painterly pot for the first time and it seems to drag a little when applying using a finger and also drys matte. Is this normal for this product or did a get a dried out pot?
Mine didn’t get very dry, and I live in a dry climate so Maybe you should take it back for an exchange- although air wouldn’t call it creamy, it’s not dry or cakey for me.
I had to take a hammer and tap the sides of the lids to get them open.
