And the Qur'an never said Evolution but creation.
God created the first man from dust/clay and Adam came to life not as an ape but as full Human that's accourding to the Quran.

And also He has not to use the specific word 'evolution, he chose to use the word 'creation' to mean a general understable thing, making evolution as a technical detail.

I too read it often. I have to admit that I did not research extensively on this matter, but all the verses that I've read regarding this matter suggest *evolution* and not instant creation.
One could ask then "why doesn't God tell us directly that we descended from apes?"... Think what could happen if Mohammed said this to his people in the 7th century... Even today, despite that most of the evidence suggests that we evolved, most people can't accept it because they consider apes "stupid" or "filthy".

You've just confirmed it, Allah says "We have indeed created the human in the best erected shape", a clear evidence that Quran refutes the Evolution theory.
Do you know what? Allah say also "we are the ones who have revealed Al-Thikr (Quran) and we are the protectors of it". So if your intention in any way to mislead people by taking advantage of Quran to proof false theories, be sure that you will fail, for Allah is the protector of His own words!
However, trying to link between evolution theory and Quran is a clear confession that that theory is nothing but nonsense and that Quran is the real revelation of God to which you try to link those cheap theories.

By the way, you have no idea how God works. The Quran says that "you will never find a change in the way of God". God creates all things through evolution. For example, our planet earth was not created in an instant, it took millions of years for it to form to reach its current state.
The universe also did not fully formalize until millions of years.
Human beings also do not become born instantly either, but they go through an evolutionary embryonic period until they are delivered.
Fruits and plants don't grow instantly either, it takes time for them to grow after they get planted.
Don't you see how God's ways work? All animals and creatures started from a single substance that evolved over millions of years. Every form of life adapted to its environment and was altered in shape.
We humans were not created instantly, this goes against modern scientific research and basic logic.

Just do RESEARCH then LEARN and then come up with some REAL FACTs to disprove the other, instead of quoting out what you learned from your parents. How do you explain how it is they reproduced, are you implying incest? I think it’s very reasonable to think Allah (sbt) had a processes put in place that could take billions probably trillions to complete. Think outside the box. She barely covered the versus in support of evolution.

I can understand your way of thinking and respect it.
However, evolution is a theory but it’s backed by concrete evidence. You cannot deny the humanoid fossils found all over the world. These are facts and right in front of you. I believe in Allah and a lot of verses in the Quran actually compliment/imply evolution is real. For example:
(Quran 24:45) Allah has created every animal out of water . Of them (is a category which) walks upon its belly, (another which) walks upon two legs, and ( a third which) walks upon four . Allah creates what He wills. Allah is Able to do everything (He wants).
This verse is the exact same thing as the evolution theory that all life (from fish to mammals). In the Quran Allah also talks about another humanoid creatures he created. Muslims dismiss evolution without studying it because we believe people are saying we came from apes which is actually a myth. I suggest you do more research before denying it.
My personal belief. Evolution is a real thing, however when it came to the creation of the homo Sapiens it wasn’t natural like the others, it was a miracle Adam and Eve came down as the first Homo sapiens. We are very different from the past humanoids, they had simple tools and fire, but we had things like an incredibly smart brain, culture, religion, creativity, etc.

I used to be one of your biggest fans but after watching this video, I am so disappointed and disheartened. I understand that your core intentions are good but under no circumstances are you allowed to insert your own interpretation of a few verses of the Quran and completely ignore other verses in the Quran that clearly describe that man was created not evolved, that the earth shall perish on the day of judgment and hence it is not paradise (in fact, this contradicts with your interpretation of black holes, and that paradise lies beyond black holes, according to you!). You can't ignore the interpretation of the Prophet himself and His companions such as Abdullah Ibn Abbas, for whom the Prophet asked Allah to teach Ibn Abbas the Interpretation of the Quran.
The Quran is a book of signs, not science. Islam does not need you to reconcile every single scientific article with one of its verses to prove it is true.

Adam (as) was the first man / human Allah created Adam (as) in his form (i.e adult form Adam (as) in other words didn’t go through the stages of being a baby, child then adult. He was created in his form i.e fully grown adult) before Adam (as) there was no humans. Clearly Adam (as) and Eve (as) where created in heaven in their adult form then sent down to earth as Muslim we believe that soil from earth was used for the creation of Adam (as) mixed with water etc as in wet soil. But the rest of the knowledge is with Allah. He knows best.

Was Jesus created instantly or did he develop inside Mary's womb? We know that Mary was pregnant and she went to deliver under a date palm tree. So "BE" and "HE WAS" is not to be intended as an instant thing, God has infinite patience because He created time.
Adam developed inside of a womb, and given that he is the first anatomically modern human being (sometimes God calls us children of Adam in the Quran), then his mother must have been non-human.
The Quran doesn't say that they were in the paradise, but it says "jannah" which could be any garden on earth as well, and "descend" could indicate any upland.

I'm a Muslim and I really loved the video.. I was thinking this way for a long time and this just has confirmed my thoughts. Science has confirmed the theory of evolution and I personally would believe in science more than what the people that explained Quran says because simply , science can't be wrong but people who explain Quran could be. Most of them are not scientists or biologists to have the minimum knowledge to explain the verses.
If you're worrying about Adam and Eve's story I really think Islam has a deeper meaning and it can't tell you the story in a simple way. I think that the story of Adam and Eve is metaphorical representation of men and women and the sins they have done.
I disagree with the conclusions in this video. When Allah (swt) mentions 'selection', he is not talking about natural selection. Rather, he selected the prophets on account of their pious character. Furthermore, when Allah (swt) mentions creating man in stages, he is actually referring to the development of the human embryo and NOT the western evolutionary definition of development in stages.

I'd like to disagree on the first point since god would've specified that and not directly followed it with creation when he says, "ويخلق الله ما يشاء ويختار" meaning god creates whatever he wills and selects. The word select is clearly linked to creation, explicitly noting that when god creates he creates based on his will and his selection. Clearly when selection is the creation method and will is the motivation. No scholar even links that verse to talking about prophets, prophets aren't even mention anywhere near the context of that verse.
Second point I'd like to argue is when you say stages of development means human embryo. Firstly, the word used is atwara, which is plural of tawr, as god says "وقد خلقناكم أطوارا". I might agree with you, until god mentions وطور سينين which could both mean the mountain senyin, and the stage of development of senyin, here I'm forced to disagree. Obviously senyin has nothing to do with any of the prophets mentioned in the quran, and it is in ethiopia. We don't know if he's swearing by it coz of evolution, and we don't know if it means mountain or stage of development, and why he used the word toor instead of jabal, which is the word god uses for many other verses to speak of a mountain, but for those reasons, as long as that mountain proves to have significance to our evolution, we are forced to read it as stage of development as in evolution, and not embryo.

How they change or can change colour over time via inheritance of offspring. Quran is truth, with scientific evidence backing them. @@Srangamann We Muslims hold the Quran to be the literal Word of God right? So we shouldn’t rely on medieval scholars all the time when we interpret the Quran, we need to interpret it in light of modern discoveries and when it comes to the story of Adam, there’s no harm in understanding it as to mean that he wasn’t literally the “first” man but only a human heing (homo sapien) who was created differently from other humans because he was the first prophet of mankind and who is the progenitor of modern humans (us). Maybe the whole story that the Quran is trying to present doesn’t contradict the theory of evolution, maybe mankind was in a state of lowliness and impurity (early stages of evolution) then God chose us and purified us through Adam and Eve, the first representatives and caliphs of God. There are many curious verses in the Quran which may imply (implicitly at least) that they were other creatures or humans before Adam like for instance when the angels questioned God on why he would create a man who would shed blood and cause corruption on earth, how did the angels know that this is what mankind was gonna do eventually if they didn’t already witness that other primitive humans before Adam were causing bloodshed and corruption on earth. Oh and please don’t bring that whole “jin before humans” old interpretation of ibn kathir, neither the Quran nor the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) mention that jinns were the ones who caused corruption on earth before Adam. And of course Allah knows best but we should really be open-minded when it comes to such matters because the Quran is such a flexible and beautiful text that can interpreted in countless ways (which is one of the reasons we hold it to be the Word of God) and we also shouldn’t limit ourselves solely on what previous exegetes have said because they themselves interpreted the Quranic text according to their own respective times.

Despite pumping so much info in this clip and twisting the interpretations of these verses, they are irrelevant to evolution and don’t add up in any logical or scientific sense.
How does this align with the very clear verse of creating Adam peace be upon him:

I think Adam was directly sent by God in human form. The prophets were direct descendants of this branch of humans. The rest of us evolved from apes and the two branches of humans merged into a single one. Human evolution occurred after Adam and Eve were sent here.

Now, the part that I like less (my opinion) is when you are talking about the holy Quran verses, I get the impression you’re stating facts and not your own understanding of their meanings. As a Muslim and an Arab, I believe I can distinguish between an opinion and a fact, since I can always read what the prophet (SAAWS) explained as well as the all times well known scholars.
No one can judge somebody else intentions. Soon enough we will be in the presence of Allah, and only then we have to answer.
I did share some of your videos on my Facebook because I want to spark the curiosity of some of my friends towards the teachings of Islam, at the same time, it is my duty as a Muslim to point your attention to these points :
- Arabic is a beautiful but complicated language, I hope that you are in touch with many different linguistics, that can help you with original wording of the Quran.
- That you are also in touch with the famous Muslim scholars in their different fields, I can assure you, they will be very generous of their time to help you with any question you might have.

I know English and Urdu. Urdu as my native and English as international language. I'm learning Quran in Urdu from Ahlussunnat wal jammat and with Arabic. I cannot learn Arabic completely right now although it is very similar to Urdu. I'm trying to learn everyone's perspective. But they all are against evolution. Be very careful about taking information about Islam from non-Muslims. Whether intentional or not there are many errors in this vid. It is described how Adaam (AS) was created. The lowest point on earth is the Dead Sea not in Ethiopia.

Allah created Humans separately, for rest of creatures there can be evolution. Never read anything in Quran that rejects evolution. Indeed Allah created all creatures but this doesn't mean they were created instantly, they might have evolved from other primitive species as Darwin theory says. But for HUMANS we have objection, as Quran clearly tells this species was created separately.

The direction in which a mosque is built doesn’t have any significance, but the direction we face when performing salat (prayer) does, it must face the kaaba in mecca or else the prayer isnt valid, all Muslims around the world face the kaaba when praying including the ones praying in al aqsa mosque.
The verse mentioning the mountain doesn’t refer to the one in Ethiopia but to mount senai in Egypt (even though she says the opposite) and that has been agreed upon by all muslim scholars and mufassiriin of the quraan. Some of the information mentioned in this video may be misleading, and sometimes verses are falsely interpreted so please do more research.

Traditional Islam interpretation, Christianity and Judaism are more or less same about the first creation of human. But, you know we should believe an informatopn from christianity or judaism only if it is consistant with Quran. And i think the Quran says a quite different story about creation. For example; 6/98 says; God created all of you from the "nefsin vâhıdetin". Than in 7/189 says; from this same "nefsin vahidetin" God created a mate for the human. Traditional understanding says "nefsin vâhıdetin" means Adam. But it does not! Literally most suitable meaning is "the one single living thing". So the man and woman had created from the same origin, not from each other.
Moreover, unlike Christianity or Judaism Eva didnot misleaded the Adam. according to the Qur'an, Adam and his wife believed the devil together (7/20-22). After that, they both asked for forgiveness but they were banished and they paid for what they did together. Since, there is no ontological difference between man and woman Quran does not say "woman should bow down to man". Instead, it says; to be rewarded they both need bow down to God (16/97) I know, this is the opposite of the traditional Islam but i think Quran is kind of trying to fix the basic misunderstandings about woman.
There is one more interesting thing about the creation in Quran. Before the "nefsin vahidetin" stage, God has formed us from the "earth" soil plus the "earth" water, not from the "heavenly" clay. it is the "earth" clay. How do i know? Because 11/61 says "God has produced you from the earth and settled you in it". Also 20/53-54 mentions from the earth surface and then in 20/55 God says "from that soil We created you, and into it We will return you". Additionally, before the creation of human God says to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority (2/30)".
However, did God create us in the earth and take to the Paradise and then banish to the earth again? Well, i think No!. In Quran the word "cennet" is used in two meaning, one of them is eternal Paradise and the second literal meaning is the "safe garden (18/35)". So the first humans had been banished from the safe garden where they were created, and spread around the world(30/20). This meaining is more suitable because the Paradise that Quran mention, comes after the doomsday prepared for the willed beings who deserve it (5/119). Also, there is no test in the Paradise between good and evil because there is no evil in there (56/25). And there is no exit from the Paradise once you get in there, it is eternal (15/48).
Just one more thing, when God mention about creation, there is always a process. I think she misinterpreted Surah At-Tin very badly. The surah doesn't talk about the creation or evolution of human. Please refers tafseer Al-Quran to get better understanding of the Surah. Adam was the first human created by Allah followed by Eve ( refer Surah Al-Hijr verse 28).

EVERY VIDEO THAT I'VE WATCHED UP UNTIL THIS POINT WAS 100% ACCURATE
Traditional Islam interpretation, Christianity and Judaism are more or less same about the first creation of human. But, you know we should believe an informatopn from christianity or judaism only if it is consistant with Quran. And i think the Quran says a quite different story about creation. For example; 6/98 says; God created all of you from the "nefsin vâhıdetin". Than in 7/189 says; from this same "nefsin vahidetin" God created a mate for the human. Traditional understanding says "nefsin vâhıdetin" means Adam. But it does not! Literally most suitable meaning is "the one single living thing". So the man and woman had created from the same origin, not from each other.
Moreover, unlike Christianity or Judaism Eva didnot misleaded the Adam. according to the Qur'an, Adam and his wife believed the devil together (7/20-22). After that, they both asked for forgiveness but they were banished and they paid for what they did together. Since, there is no ontological difference between man and woman Quran does not say "woman should bow down to man". Instead, it says; to be rewarded they both need bow down to God (16/97) I know, this is the opposite of the traditional Islam but i think Quran is kind of trying to fix the basic misunderstandings about woman.
There is one more interesting thing about the creation in Quran. Before the "nefsin vahidetin" stage, God has formed us from the "earth" soil plus the "earth" water, not from the "heavenly" clay. it is the "earth" clay. How do i know? Because 11/61 says "God has produced you from the earth and settled you in it". Also 20/53-54 mentions from the earth surface and then in 20/55 God says "from that soil We created you, and into it We will return you". Additionally, before the creation of human God says to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority (2/30)".
However, did God create us in the earth and take to the Paradise and then banish to the earth again? Well, i think No!. In Quran the word "cennet" is used in two meaning, one of them is eternal Paradise and the second literal meaning is the "safe garden (18/35)". So the first humans had been banished from the safe garden where they were created, and spread around the world(30/20). This meaining is more suitable because the Paradise that Quran mention, comes after the doomsday prepared for the willed beings who deserve it (5/119). Also, there is no test in the Paradise between good and evil because there is no evil in there (56/25). And there is no exit from the Paradise once you get in there, it is eternal (15/48).
Just one more thing, when God mention about creation, there is always a process. For clarification purposes the word Jana (Arabic) or Paradise is mentioned in Quran in many examples beyond that of Adam. One such examples is that of the two man where one had two paradises....mentioned in Surat Al Kahf and similar story in Surat Noon for the people of the paradise who went to harvest it and found it nothing...These paradises are believed to be on earth and not the real paradise as the examples themselves suggest that the paradise was transformed to useless garden. Roby Roby Well, that does not work that way. You may have a DNA transformation or mutation, on individuals, that if survive and adapt to the environment will pass these genes on and on. This does not mean that the "non mutated" species are going to dissapear, as long as they're well adapted will continue with their ways. That is why there can be different types of apes with common ancestors. Christians also believe in the creation of Adam and Eve, and most of the Western scientists were (and some still are) Christians. They just took the religious scriptures with a higher degree of flexibility. I know they were very important scientists and sages in the Muslim world. They probably also understood that it would be awkward that Allah wanted the human beings to avoid any kind of knowledge or investigation that was not included in - or seconded by - the religious scriptures which, want it or not, are limited in the number of pages, lines, words, etc. Why would a God create an intelligent and curious creature, with the most complex brain we have knowledge of, ask him to be critic and think but on the other hand want him to deny any new knowledge that came to him during the coming centuries and millenia? You know Giordano Bruno, an Italian friar, mathematician and cosmological theorist that was burned at the stake in 1600 by the Church. Among other things he theorised that there were lots of stars in the universe, far away and big as the Sun, with planets around like in our Solar System and that in some of those planets it could even be other forms of life. He was influenced, by the way, by Arab astrology (particularly Averroes, from the beautiful Corduba, back then Al Andalus). Nowadays all the Scientific community knows there are stars and planets out there, and that they could have some forms of life, so they send aerospace-vehicles to find out more. I think you should rather look at the examples of religious but curious men like Giordano Bruno or Ibn Rushd if you want to be part of the same ship of the human species and adapt to a challenging universe. I guess God will want it that way, otherwise our big brains would be pretty useless if all we have to do is deny and refuse, or burn sages and curious people like the Inquisition back then

Just an Example: "And your lord creates what he will and chooses" has nothing to do with natural selection. it means Allah is the one to choose for his creation whatever he wills as part of Religion and what is not Religion. You get it.
I really appreciate you knowing our scripture but if you talk about the Qur'an you have to stick to how the Muslims define it. Otherwise you will misinterpret it just like an enthusiast/extremist would do.
In fact Allah says: "Who is more unjust than one who fabricates a lie against Allah." {CH 6, V 93} And He says: "O people of the Book (Jews and Christians), do not go extreme in your religion: and don't say of Allah that which you know not...." {CH 4, V 171}In fact its the exact definition of extremism in Islam.
Don't get pissed off though. I like teaching our Religion to others. And everything is referred back to the Prophet or his companions. So if, in the former example, they interpreted it as Natural selection, then your argument is valid, otherwise it's null and it falls under "a lie against Allah".

the quran says about the story of adam alot, and in surah atteen it says,ثم رددناه أسفل سافلين، إلى الذين آمنوا... سورة التين

the quran has ayat muhkamat, which has a clear meaning and are not clay to shape them as you like, and mutashabihat, which there is some differant intorutations of them, and you can not make the meaning of quran depend on science, becouse science is man made and changed, andscientist now do not say that humans come from africa after finding fossils older in morroco.

The Holy Quran doesn't confirm Charles Darwin's concept of evolution. According to Darwin, Humans evolved from Apes, and this belief is contrary to the Holy Quran's View. Allah (S.W) says in the Holy Quran " Indeed, We created man from sounding clay moulded from black mud (Surah 15, Verse 26). Allah (S.W) cleary said "Man" not Ape. Furthermore, the verse where Allah (S.w) says " And from water, we created all living things" (Surah 21 verse 30) doesn't mean all living things evolved from a single point. I'm surprised you think this verse supports Darwanian evolution . Science has proven water is the main constituent of every living cell.
Only Allah knows the best, we shouldn’t concern ourselves with these topics to fit the western/Darwinist criteria. But rather prepare for a day which falls upon us all. May Allah make it easy for us Ameen

to be fair I dont need science to prove that Islam is right. science itself is always changed. even though quran is in line with most of them, there are better way to know muhammad(pbuh) is prophet of god and islam is true religion. with prophecies. we lived in the end of times. read and study what muhammad(pbuh) said about it. you can't deny if it's happening in front of our eyes.
