Yes they showed as No Longer Available before. I tried to order them this year from Pelican Parts and they said there was no stock in Germany. Then I tried at my local dealer in Quebec and they were able to special-order them directly from Germany.
Nice, thanks for the information! Definitely looks better (just checked the price, here in Germany they are about 29€ each which is actually quite a massive price difference). I‘ll add it to the list :-)
Helpful video! I actually put 740iL mufflers on my 735iL; mainly because I got a great deal on the mid muffler and rear muffler. The rear 735 mufflers are backordered for months here. The slightly larger diameter 740 pipes looks so much better. See the video I just posted for a close up.
I installed these on my E46 last year. What a difference they make. A small detail that completely changes the look of the car in my opinion. Expensive, but worth the purchase.
Great Video! I've been watching your videos, however there isn't a suspension replacement video. Please help! I have a E32, my suspension is leaking from rear struts and is also draining out my power steering fluid. My mechanic says I would need to replace entire hydraulic suspension. problem is the automatic hydraulic system is not available and if it is its over $3kUSD. What are my alternative options, without having error codes/alarms on imstrument panel? Please help, I would like to drive it again.
That's an expensive repair bill! I believe the seals of the hydraulic struts can be replaced without replacing the entire units. I don't have any suspension videos, it's not an area I worked on before. This forum thread can steer you in the right direction: www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?2439664-LAD-SLS-Suspension-Refresh-and-Rear-Strut-Seals You will need a dedicated technician to replace the seals, but it can be done.
Was it standard that all e32s came with racing dynamics exhaust?? I bought a 750il back in late July but it was missing the muffler (looks like it broke off) but when I got under the car the exhaust says racing dynamics
I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix a loose automatic transmission cable on one of these 1993 740ils it doesn’t have the original mounts or anything it’s jus moving freely so it’s flexing instead of moving the transmission lever. Any ideas?
Perhaps the cable is not attached to the #9 bracket in this diagram? www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=GD83-USA-08-1993-E32-BMW-740iL&diagId=25_0510 It's hard to tell on the internet what could be wrong. A shop could find it easily by looking under the car.
When I asked BMW few years ago, that part was out of business. Nice to know!

@@ClassicBMWFanInQuebec I've ordered them, I changed my muffler 5 years ago and was very sad to not find those parts anymore. You made my day.
Instantly ordered them, thanks.
Didn't know BMW had this lol. Thanks for the tip, I will be ordering them now

Yep just watched your video and the 740 pipes look just right. Perfect spacing and diameter. BMW should have used these on the 735.

They must look nice on your E46. I agree the price is steep but it's still worth it.
Thanks for the video, would you happen to have a full video of you connecting the engines electrical harness .
Glad you liked the video. No sorry I don't have a video involving the engine's wiring. To be honest I hope I never have to deal with it!

Bonjour de Montréal ! Possédez-vous d'autres BMW d'époque ??
Bonjour! Non je n'en possède seulement qu'une. Je ne pourrais pas en avoir plus qu'une dû au manque d'espace. Ma 735 me satisfait bien cependant!

No the stock exhaust was using standard BMW parts. Your exhaust was changed to a Racing Dynamics version.
@@ClassicBMWFanInQuebec oh nice no wonder it sounds nice when I turn the car on

Pas mal plus beau. Le bruit devient-il différent?
Non le bruit est le même, ce n'est qu'un changement esthétique.
what tyres do you use
Hi, the tires on my car are Continental DWS06 225-55 R16. The wheels are 16" BMW Style 61 from the E38 750.
Cool, yes, love the look!! 👏👏 But does suck they are made in China.
Where can I buy this? Any website? My friend has a 525ix E34 and is looking for exhaust trim
Hi Martin, I ordered them directly at the dealership.
@@ClassicBMWFanInQuebec okey thank you!
