If I "have run into overpriced parts for my BMW" , yes all of them.... 😂😂, still love them anyway. That car is going to be immaculate with all the work you are doing to it. Nice work.
Found this pretty funny. Had the same problem on my e34 and was shocked when I priced those brackets. I zip tied the atf lines to what was left of them. For perspective a m30 timing chain cost me $82 cdn… don’t understand the pricing on some parts.
You would think that a critical part like the timing chain would cost a lot more. It is strange sometimes how things are priced. The zip tie idea is pretty good!
Always fun chasing down vibrations and e32 gremlins! I finished my water pump and master cylinder replacement. Broke one push pin for the fan shroud. Got it fairly cheap from ECS tuning but took 3 months to get here. Lots of Money, time or usually both haha
That's usually how it goes! Good job replacing the water pump and master cylinder. Did you have to bench-bleed the MC? Vibrations are difficult to pin point. But once fixed the satisfaction is very good!
@@ClassicBMWFanInQuebec Yes, had to bench bleed MC. However when I tried to install I realized that I could not get brake lines reattached because the brake fluid reservoir completely blocked access. Should have remembered from when I took it out, I had to drain and remove reservoir first haha. So had to start over without reservoir and bleed installed in the car. Same as bench bleeding but very little room for fluid in the two ports where reservoir would sit.
@@Lamerguezerie I wasn’t referring specifically to those parts. For us Canadians, it can be just as expensive to buy parts online because of shipping, exchange, duties, etc. In the US, many websites sell original parts, but in Canada not really.

I say keep mentioning your car in the videos in case you bump into a new subscriber. Keep making more videos I like your content
Gotta love those dealer-only parts…
Yep... I knew what I was getting into with this car, but sometimes it's a bit much!
Dealer-only? you can buy them online
@@Lamerguezerie You can, but they are the same price as the dealer.
