I also give lots of tips on curly hair and curly hair styling. I also show you how to keep up the curls and the way the hair looks days after the salon visit. I'll help you decide if it's worth the money.

I had the worst devacut experience at one of the local salons in my area! I watched all these youtube videos and knew what to expect but didn't get it at all. My stylist thought that me having a braid out didn't give her a true vision of my curls (even though that's how i wear my hair). 1.She didn't cut my hair while it was dry, 2. She didn't wash my hair ( 1 of the assistants did) and she didn't leave in the cleanser for 20 min. 3. she dried my hair with a towel not a fiber towel. 4, i never flipped my hair over to have the gel applied 5. my hair was dry and looked a hot damn mess 6. my stylist complimented me on my "curls" even though nothing was defined and my hair was extremely frizzy 7. she applied the gel to my semi dry hair even though its supposed to be applied to soaking wet hair. she was about to let my leave after she gave me the cut ! i looked too ridiculous for the streets girl. I had to ask her/remind her to put the clips in and from there she had to added some spray to add moisture but my hair was still dry. After i came out of the dryer my hair was kinda crispy and she fluffed it up and it still looked a hot mess. She made me believe that i would like it on the 2nd day... and that most of my hair was heat damaged but that's untrue. Otherwise all of my hair would've had to be cut and my hair came out drier then b4 on the second day. So from now on i'm going to nyc to get my hair done. smh !

I really enjoyed your video. I usually don't like the ones people just arbitrarily send. Now, I want a Deva Cut! I think it was worth it if you do. They do charge a lot, but the way you explained it, makes it seem like it's worth every cent. Because they put the Science and Love into each strand. And she didn't whack off a lot and say it was all damaged ends.

She did a great job on you. Love the cut. I have to remember Rosie. When I had it done the first time I had Jackie not sure if she is still there. I have a very tight curl pattern in the middle and loose in the back and front so working with my hair was somewhat of a challenge I actually did not like the cut the first time. It the second time I did. I have to call and see if Rosie is there she did an awesome job. Thanks for sharing.

Devacurl now recognises 3 curl types, wavy, curly and super curly, they used to have more. At the time of this video, there was s'wavy, wavy, Botticelli, corkicceli, corkscrew, fractal spiral and fractal zigzag

I saw this brand and didn't get it because I really love the shea butter naturals... definitely going to try this one though... I've neglected my hair for so long precisely because I can't stand the amount of product we are supposed to have on it.. must try this though. Thanks for an amazing vid

I really enjoyed this video a lot. I am multi racial and so my hair is not totally crazy out of control thanks to the white in me, but my hair is wavy curls not curly curly. So I do straighten my hair every day after I hot roll it, the hot rollers give me the body and shape, then I flat iron it to get it sleek and tame. I never wear my hair curly naturally because the curls are more wavy curls so it doesn't look right. But.. this is a really cute hair style for you and that woman did fantastic.
