Thanks for sharing it w/ us your works. I hope your channel will take off. I’ll for sure show these to my co workers and classmates when I have a chance!
@@advancedleveldiagnosticsquick question, I’m planning on getting that Milwaukee solder gun, but I’ve seen some bad reviews online. Is it actually good and reliable. I’ve owned a lotta Milwaukee and never had problems so. Thanks a bunch
Great Video... I have watched all your impala videos trying to fix my Intermittent issue and thought i had it fixed, but it came back this morning, 03-14-24, after 6 weeks... Could that Broken wire cause the instrument gauges to go wonky, warning chimes to go off, Service Stabil and Traction Control lights, ABS LIGHT, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT , Locks going off and On.. And when it happens, it either goes into Reduced Engine Power or It allows me to go faster than limp but the shifts are HARD.. Dealer had it for 3 weeks and couln't duplicate it... This one is the Demon Car.. POSSESSED!
When you think of how many times the wheels bounce over bumps and steer while driving, I am surprised this doesn’t happen more often. Those harnesses take a lot of abuse.
I'm very happy with mine; I am having issues with the Secure Gateway module on Chryslers. Officially they fixed it but last time I tried it was not working.
Nice fix , I've repaired a decent amount of those . Those harnesses always go bad . I find it interesting that the tech there couldn't figure out such a simple problem... that's non of my business though lol
I had a car years ago from a body shop setting a abs rf code I would clear it and when I would close the hood it would come back on immediately I was a newbie so I replaced sensor ( wire connector under hood light out close hood light on 😅 freaking body shop had hood light and abs connector crossed same connector imagine that
Thank you for the answer. I have a 2012 Impala. The service stabilitrak message appeared, the car seems very sluggish as i just start to drive; as if it’s stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear. About 5 minutes later the check engine light came on, i had it scanned: code U0101 TCM not communicating. It just seemed weird that both things happened simultaneously.
Nice quick fix! "Welcome to hell" I guess that poor tech didn't realize just who he was talking to! LOL. Hey, btw, I was wondering what your thoughts are on this proposed NASTF and VSP nonsense. I didn't realize that it's apparently been a thing here in Canada for a few years but never enforced. Enforcing this is going to ruin a lot of good honest shops or mechanics. Just my opinion, curious to know what you think. Thanks and take care!
I agree with you, I don't think they thought it through. They thought they were only getting rid of the bottom feeders but there is countless legitimate shops that are losing out. Have no fear someone will take over autels place in the aftermarket that won't require it. Where I live to get key codes you need an actual locksmith license which requires a two year apprenticeship at a locksmith, so it's not really an option for a technician.
On GM with those stupid questions in the scan tool when your logging in I am not certain but In the past I have selected the wrong ones and it didnt change anything that I could tell.
Nice fix. Your style is awesome, no BS just Straight to work! Thanks for sharing!

@@DavidPham911 I did have to warranty it once because it stopped working, but other than that, I've had no problems in over 2 years.
TSB for the win
You did your thing on fixing the car. I need your contact information. My 2013 Chevy impala has some issues that need fixing
I thought it is going to be harder after the welcome to hell greeting :)
Lol me too!

Nice fix. How do you like the Top Don scan tool? I'm thinking of getting a new scan tool and was looking at different brands.

I think he was thrown off by the communication codes in the beginning because the module was not properly plugged in.
@@advancedleveldiagnostics ahh I see 👍
So i replaced these and the lights were off for about 20mins then came back on any ideas why?

Can an issue with a speed sensor cause issues with a tcm not communicating?
Not that I can think of.

@@alexbellotti8423 I would think its more likely that the stabilitrak light came on because you lost com with the TCM.

Good to know!
Always an actuator in an impala
💯
the wire needed to save your life is easily broke, what a piece of SHIT GM made
It’s the wire to the sensor I bet
💯
Is Frank Zappa still alive?
Franks channel is advance level auto, you are watching advance level diagnostics
Keith Defazzio is "New level Auto.. another Master
Gotta be pulling on the wire. Incorrect routing?
I don't think so, There was a TSB about it so it seems it happens over time.
The problem is that it’s a Chevy Impala, the fix is to junk it.
🤣
