No kidding! I think I now understand what this fight was trying to convey. Roxas was fighting for a false life that, deep down, he he ought to know isn't real or worth having. He thinks it's Sora who had taken it from him, but Sora would and does help him move on. Yes, I enjoyed 358/2 days!
Animating this fight in 2D shows how bat guano insane this fight is. The effects and the movement were taken for great when in 3D but here it's very epic. If that made any sense. I would love to see a KH anime
The way you can follow the whats going on even without a HUD shows how much detail is in this animation. You can even tell whenever Sora activates and deactivates limit drive and solo trinity limit. Amazing job!!!

Why? I mean yeah it’s cool. It puts emphasis on the outlines which makes it easier for animators to get a cool idea of how to draw things in a realistic or more smooth way. But rotoscoping isn’t nearly as impressive as it would be for someone to be able to just do this free hand.
There is something so satisfying about the simplistic art style. It looks good despite many elements missing. Quite impressive to see a fully animated fight that looks like game play, almost like the engine of the game was changed along with the models a bit like Timeless River. A great animation in my book. 👌
I really like the aesthetic the rotoscoping gives it, with nothing but colored lines and empty white space. Things we see in our heads have no real appearance, noises and voices have no real sound, so it kinda sells the idea that this was an internal struggle better to me.
This is so awesome! One of the most memorable scenes. This style is a great take and is somehow reminiscent of KH1's simpler designs. It was great to watch, thank you!

This is exactly the way manga and fighting should be. Not much talking, just nothing but fighting and sound effects. If you become a manga artist and implement this way of fighting while in it you can own even the top shown in, so long as you implement the perspective well in this shot for shot battle! 😁👏👏👏

Honestly we used trinity more than I would have liked, but other than that its pretty solid
