- It's finally over. This took way too long to make. Definitely bit off more than I could chew on this one but I learned a lot because of it. As for what's next, I am done with Kingdom Hearts for a while. I got some things I'd like to do with it but I wanna do other things ya feel me.

The fact riku wit a blindfold sees roxas as sora is incredible detail for those who played the game after & came back to this scene
The fact that Riku was fighting master level combat with a blindfold is always a flex.
Roxas instinctively calling out "Get real! Look at which one of us is winning!" will always be one of my favorite lines from a video game period.

@@arikatheprincessofhearts2043 in this instance no. Roxas is sora's nobody. Basically he's half of sora so some of sora's behavior patterns are apart of Roxas.
Omg, Axel RACING to save Roxas, running as fast as he can, but being too late to get to him is GUTTING. Awesome work!!
And you've got to love that look Xigbar has on his face as he sees him run past, like he already knows what's going on and while he has to keep playing his part, he still empathizes with Axel in this moment, having lost so many friends over the years himself.
I love the addition of Riku crying as he was crushing Roxas, Roxas may have his own identity, but he's half of Sora literally, and to save Sora and wake him up Riku once again had to harm/hurt his best friend and it tore him apart to do it.
5:07 I love that last bit with Riku unleashing his darkness and even shedding a tear when breaking Roxas down. To me, Riku never wanted to hurt Roxas. But when Roxas broke away from the Organzation and was going to go on a, lets be honest, suicide mission, Riku was out of time and out of options. He had to do what he had to do...but it didnt mean he liked one bit of it. There is also the angle that since Roxas is apart of Sora, Riku is harming Sora yet again and that tears at him.
Every KH fan dreams of KH anime. You my friend may rest knowing mission accomplished

I also love the fact that Namine's umbrella is the same as Roxas's and Xion's joke weapon.

You literally improved upon the original fight and scene. Having Roxas use his limit attack from 358 and having the shadow gaurdian wear down Roxas instead of one-shoting him. 5 STARS and 10/10.
I love how the guardian didn’t just one shot Roxas in your version of the fight. This improved the original fight scene. Very nice! And love the perspectives of other characters as well.
Bravo, so well done. Particularly love the fruitless struggle against ansem's guardian showing just how much roxas kept fighting even if it was impossible to win.

I love that you added Axel running towards Roxas in this. He made a promise to be there to get his friends back but the time he gets, it was too late. Xigbar knows what's up but chooses not to get involved. Saix does the same but out of spite since Roxas did kick his ass to leave their HQ. And Xemnas senses Ansem (His Heartless half) but chooses to let Roxas meet his demise by Ansem's hand. All the while Roxas is beaten and has completely Xion from his memory.

This was so cool to see. Not only did it extend the fight scene between these 2 but better gets the point across that riku had a hard time taking roxas out, which I’ve always liked about this fight. It shows that sora is a formidable fighter, even if roxas is part of the reason why
To be fair, cannonicaly, Roxas would have beaten the shadow gardien, he was just taken by surprised in the game.

I'm left speechless. That was so good, I had to watch it twice in a row, and now a third time while I'm writing this comment. Sora v Riku gave me Kakashi v Obito vibes. Love all the stuff you added, really added to the coolness factor and drama of the whole thing. Would love an entire animated series like this, I hope if it's your goal for your animation to take you somewhere!

This was absolutely amazing. Its what every kingdom hearts fan dreams of coming to life when we think if a Kingdom Hearts show or movie. Slick animation, callbacks to official movesets, showing perspectives of characters that weren't in the original scenes, it was all an absolute joy to watch. Clearly a lot of love and hard work went into this, and you deserve every bit of recognition for it.

I like to imagine that when roxas saw ansem he thought that it was xemnas and that riku was just a disguise as another form of manipulation towards him and xion. It would give roxas the idea that he was so close to achieving his goal, but he ends up failing at the last moment.
Having these extra scenes, the ones that show the conflict not only between roxas and riku, but to the bystanders diz and namine. How they must feel watching the fight. Axel and his longing for his friend roxas. Added detail goes along way 💯/💯

I was almost put off by the design and shading of the characters in the first 5-10 seconds, but decided to stay to see where this was going. I was not disappointed one bit. Animation is incredibile and so is the way to linked this fight to Sora vs Riku in the first game, terrific idea. You still have to learn obviously, but this was amazing. BRAVO!

Dude this made me feel like I was on the verge of tears the sadness and anger I had for Roxas was so intense after I played days I had the game two whole years before I finally played it on the damn 3ds and I regret not doing it sooner... and the only thing that could make me tear up even after seeing this is if I see one damn gojo comment..

Love how the keyblades seem to be just the actual textures the devs attached to the hitboxes that make up the weapons of 358/2 days. The backgrounds seeming to be from the games I can overlook; it might need some polish here and there, but the fight itself is pretty damn good overall. The keyblades just kill me tho lol

Drily is such an incredible character and well deserving of the title keyblade master growing up playing these with my brother he was always his favorite which still sticks with me because he reminds me of him so much just a little personal detail as tk why I love his character and how far he’s come 😅 I’m sora and he’s riku together we’re inseparable.
Wow that is the best way to describe this, absolute masterpiece, down to the narrative direction, the other character perspectives, adding to the battle scenes and having it go down in such a dramatic ending, bravo sir you have made perfection.
