    Thank you for this easy pattern that doesn't require a ponytail holder! I am off to try it!
    Okay, I made it successfully! The video explained everything clearly. It made a nice Christmas gift for a 14 year old girl; she loves it!

    I wish people that love this would hit the "like" button for you. I did! Thank you so much for the time you took to give a visual with your "so patient" instructions. It gave me the opportunity to pull out paper and pen to write down the pattern as you made the item. My bestie from childhood knows I crochet. Today, she sends me a pic of one and message that she wants one of these. I found your tutorial and I will start one for her in a few minutes. Yours is the best!

      +you can take brim strip and stop when it fits around her head or stop around 17 inches and then follow the pattern as closely as you can but I made this for an adult so it's hard for me say Shannon Mccolligan

    • @jnjsmom100
      @jnjsmom100 7 лет назад

      dorothy husband I hope this makes sense. I counted the raised row (24) & the divit row(24) for a total of 48 rows. It was a perfect fit.

    • @sarahknell8494
      @sarahknell8494 7 лет назад

      Karen Mingues in the tutorial aren't there only 40 rows in the brim not 60, 60 is the stitch count for the row of single crochet around the brim?

    At first I was a Little confused on how to come up with 60 SC after slip stitching the brim together, but I figured out that if I put 3 SC in every 'back bone' (for a lack of better words) that would result in me getting 60 sc. just thought it might help another person.

    I had to modify this pattern since the first time I did it as I followed you it came out too much at the top. So instead I did a brim that would fit comfortably around my head and single crocheted 50 then did only two rounds of double crochet instead of 4 and just followed the rest and it came out perfectly.
