It is seriously impressive Nick's ability to synthesize the most mediocre of media into something actually funny. And of course Clangers clipping it all together!
This is easily Nick's calling in life, and we just get to have a few slices of it here and there whilst he attempts to keep a center-left talk podcast afloat.
This was the one of the best sequences on TAFS so far. Nick is easily the GOAT at discussing tv and movies that only he has watched, he remembers every detail, every racist moment, every voice he can do an impression of, he’s been at it for almost a decade now. TAFS really should just be nick rattling off media he’s watched while Adam mildly chimes in.
You've gotta imagine the casting department must have been burning the candle at both ends trying to find BG actors for every ethnicity on the planet. Small world seeing Tim Dillon and Mohammed Atta in early roles before they really blew up. Super cool!
I just finished watching Hell On Wheels. Good show, great acting, but almost none of its characters survive. You could really tell that it was being written at the same time as Game Of Thrones success, and they thought zeroing out the entire cast was trendy and would get people watching. There’s literally nobody left alive by the final season and it makes the show kind of funny and ridiculous.
4:30 I love how Nick earlier acknowledges that the black brother does have an overly-aggressive, argumentative attitude, but then later ignores it to try to make it out like the show is racist. Also I'm gay.
@@baller84milw Yeah absolutely, that is part of what Nick is making fun of. Is this supposed to be a gotcha moment or something, cause it seems like if you didn't think that while listening you wouldn't really be following along with what Nick is making fun of.
@@-BuddyGuy No, he's making fun of the security guard being racist, but then the takeaway seemingly being that he has a poor attitude and it was his fault-my counter point is that the character legitimately did have a bad attitude before that scene earlier in the show. Also, if you legitimately think that's a "racist" or unreasonable depiction of a black character, you're just telling us that you never lived around black people before ✌🏼
@@baller84milw Yeah he did have a bad attitude but I struggle to see how you think this isn't a function of the screenwriting, and wasn't the subject of Nick's joke in the first place. Yes it is clearly racist man, so is your final sentence. I've lived around, worked with and befriended a lot of black people and no, they don't all have a bad attitude, obviously. I'm not American and I'm not into their culture war, it's boring. But hands down the people with he shittiest attitudes I met there were: Angry macho guys in Phoenix that were obsessed with being manly and stopping immigration. They had guys mowing their lawns in 120 degree heat and also wanted them gone. Their lifted trucks advertised their inadequacies. Really weak people. 2: Cosmopolitan, diverse, but rich types in New York that bored me to tears with their constant claims of victim status, having grown up in the middle of opportunity. They thought they were their first generation parents but they definitely weren't. Also very weak minded. So I'm not on one side here just so you know. But you're missing an important point of the joke.
Oh man that show was such a boomer fever dream... Now the adults who would watch that show as it aired are out there calling star trek "woke nonsense" because a black person walked into frame for 3 seconds lol.
No thats the guy from constantine who played lucifer, same guy who played that guy in the seinfeld episode where george bought the frogger arcade machine
Playing devil's advocate here, but this premise actually did "work" for a very specific time and place and demographic of kids growing up in nicer parts of LA county. That is all.
I had to split this into two parts because I was having copyright issues. Part One is here: ruclips.net/video/AmYzeLw57sc/видео.html
you should edit in some stavros laughs
Thanks for doing this. I wasn't expecting it and the two uploads made for a nice surprise. Merry Christmas if you aren't a coin-clipper.
ur editing is top notch brother,
maybe some of the best on youtube fr
o7
We really need to send Nick the entire Gossip Girl box set just for Clangers content
Hahah, that or the OC
You could also just watch the show
You don't get it@@johnrogan8284
Please
@johnrogan8284 need running commentary from an autistic depressed millionaire
It is seriously impressive Nick's ability to synthesize the most mediocre of media into something actually funny. And of course Clangers clipping it all together!
He has to be moonlighting somewhere doing analysis for studios. It would be crazy not to use him as a resource.
Its his specific type of autism
I had literally just watched "a good man" starring steven seagal before discovering nicks recap of the movie, instantly hooked.
Nick tearing up, wishing he could have played "slur saying child" on that one episode of 7th Heaven
This is easily Nick's calling in life, and we just get to have a few slices of it here and there whilst he attempts to keep a center-left talk podcast afloat.

The oldest son learned how to be loud on public transportation, it's heartwarming.
I could listen to Nick recap 7th Heaven all damn day
He NEEDS to keep us updated on his full series watch. It gets so fucking crazy.
The Adam Friedland show should just pay this guy to make these they’re the best clips on the tube
Seriously then can we request things for Nick to watch and he goes over them would be gold content 😂
yea but nicks whole thing is not to have it recorded and have people spew random lines back at him in real life.
The funniest thing about Nick's summaries is it's 90% just saying what happens in the show, and 10% commentary, and it's somehow amazing
8:22 Adam's laugh is genuinely nauseating
Clangers needs to edit in a Stav laugh track for old time's sake
please do this for one video clangers its fuckin hilarious
@@fedsmoker943 Mr. Petersen you know I would LOVE that
Gasping for air while choking on food

The plot of A Time to Kill (1996) would have been resolved early if Samuel L. Jackson's character didn't have such a bad attitude.
"No they didn't deserve to die and I hope they get to heaven"
@@bluechalk6275😂😂😂😂😂😂
I would describe Samuel L. Jackson as a very loud person
I’m just picking up my Christian little brother, alright pal?
Adams laugh sounds like a dying dog, to bad there isn’t a large bodied man to cackle over it.
REGULAR body
It's fucking painful
Of course Nick didn't even recognize the Jewish representation at the end of the episode, hilarious catch. This one's great
omg nicks photographic memory of bad shows is back thank the fuckin lord
7:50 the dream sequence with Adams dad really did it for me
"The lesson is they have bad attitudes"
Adam: "theyre waiting for handouts?"
Adam adds layers to this joke....but i dont know if he even realized it
I love Adam screaming "WHAT?" as loud as he can so he can seem the least racist in the room

VERY interesting that Adam interprets a "bad attitude" as "asking for free stuff"
😂😂😂😂😂
7:45 I wish Nick had noticed the orthodox jews.
it's bonkers that he didn't!
@@BingbongDeNiro They're sneaky
I was waiting for the black guy to flip out on the girl for putting his hand in butter prank and gota say I'm disappointed.
He wanted to wild out so bad.
Merry Christmas clangers, thank you for the edit
youre editing kills me lmao
If Nick did this once a week, without Adam, of course. It would kill.
Moral of the story: dont let a corny 90s sitcom propagandized you into some boomers fantasy land of race relations
7th heaven is the name of Tifa's bar in the sector 7 slums in Final Fantasy 7
The most racist city in America...Sacramento California.
As a South Sacramentan... I have to agree thta Elk Grove was indeed racist in the 90s that place was rural AF at the filming of 7th Heaven.
Meanwhile kayesha got the karen haircut
Candice Owens lookin' ahh
I could listen to him recap these episodes all day long bro
I’m confused. What part of the matrix is this?
The part that looks like newark
tis the season for bad attitudes
The entire Adam Friedland show should just be Nick recalling TV shows and movies he's watched.
A new Clangers upload? Oh hell yeah buddy
I'm glad we got our once every other month good bit out of The Adam Friedland Show Podcast
The black sons dress like stockbrokers
A resounding masterpiece
9:11 exactly, impressive.
Too soon..
Operation two birds one stone needs to be implemented
Boomers were right after all. They be wilding out now.
Socialists really have no idea
That great two episodes thanks
Holy FUCK! I can't believe this shit was on 7th Heaven. I could listen to Nick talk about bad

I wilded out watching this video and that's the tea, sis. On god no cap.

Tom Myers at @7:57
classic mullen social commentary on 90's cultural iconography
Nick's obsession with 7th Heaven is fantastic.
Evangelicals do be living like this

This was a classic C*mtown bit. All it was missing was Staz cackling and saying "No way dude!" and "Hell yes",
“Sacramento in the 90s”, Nick’s never been to the valley.
Them complaining that the show isn't heavy-handed enough is hysterical.
This feels very tropical with What's Goin' On
