When Borko was the acting boss, no one minded cuz it all evened out at the end of the day. But Nicole? Madone, does she eat alone. She doesn’t even pass the salt.
May be important to note Stasiu most likely didnt do nothing with his grant. The country that gave him the grant, soviet Poland, collapsed. They were forced to come to the US due to the fallout, like many eastern immigrants dealing with the fallout of '91.
Thank you for that clarification, it is very important to note! It's interesting he doesn't blame the government - he & Tony are very similar! I would explain my opinion as he did "nothing" in the way of, he has nothing to show for it at all, although he could Choose to have had a better attitude about it all. The entitlement without dedication is basically my point, he was used to being treated a certain way and having a certain status and he saw others as beneath him, and now he's complaining about being a regular jack-off as if he never actually was.
Nicole, very much appreciate your in depth break down of both a favorite song of mine (that i enjoy both because of its literal theme and as an abstract being a combat vet) and a favorite episode of mine/scene of Tony singing along to a great song and the irony of it Liked and Subscribed DAMN the conclusion!!! Nicole is really on to some important questions
This reminds me of Carmella’s moral crisis of wanting to leave Tony in season 1 to get away from all his sins, and her priest tells her to leave Tony and his money, and I think that ultimately makes the sacrifice too great for her.
I think tony soprano sings stealy dan because they are boomers, Tonys age is 38 in the first season, the same as homer simpson in the first season of the simpsons. This would place his birth year at 1962 or 1963, so he would be a boomer albeit one on the tail end of the generation. Maybe this is where his love for steely dan originates and why he relates to them.
That's only boomer in the same way that some people try to make 25-26 year olds Millenials. That's kinda the issue with these "generations" in that the start and end population is always getting put in whatever group when it suits the point being made.
Madone! This is good work!
Thank you Mr. Walnuts, I will never touch my shoelaces 🙏
@@TheStarsAndGod Ohh! 🤘 Ladies johns, you could eat maple walnut ice cream off the toilets! You should have no problem with bacterium viruses.

I think it because
Tony loves Tom Petty, The Clash, Steely Dan. He just loves classic rock
