Huh? TOF has always been developed by Hotta, Tencent is only global Publisher... Publisher is not developers... Tencent might help in the downfall of TOF, but Hotta start it... If TOF doesn't have problem in the first place Tencent would undoubtedly support them to the fullest, just like they do with Nikke, PoE, and League.

Tencent never cared about ToF and I'm glad they are leaving. They are direct competitors to PWG and are the main reason global failed they had no reason to ever help ToF be successful

As a Western player, would like to see what PW/Hotta will do with it. Might come back for a couple patches, although I'm severely behind in progress. I really enjoyed my time in it when it was still only the 2 planets.
I really believe Hotta is trying hard to make NTE a good game and smooth and fun as possible. Thats why they are taking alot of feedback from community. There's soo much competition in the Gacha Genre with so many new ones coming out in 2025/2026! I hope they succeed in making NTE a succesful game
All they had to do was chill with powercreep. I came back to this game recently and dropped it again because I do 0.5% of the team's damage in all content. I might as well not play if I am over here dodging and fighting my heart out to do no damage.
Bro if u comeback recently it means ur gears and upgrade was left behind even if u use newest unit ur dmg will be left behind. It just common sense, like my lev 100 gbf acc no way it has same build and dmg compared to old player lev 350 acc build who can solo the hardest raid alrd.

How about more refined controller support? My biggest issue with the game.. well one of my biggest issues is that I always lose control of my character after certain button sequences are hit. I lose the ability to jump, dodge and sometimes even basic atk. I can still move my character around and use relics but that's it. Current fix is rebooting the game. I've rage quit the game so many times over this.
Defining something as beautiful and something as ugly is always subjective at the end of the day. What really got me concerned was the alarming issue of player declining and the dropping of revenue,i'm hoping that they will change that and solve people's main complaints such as powercreep,bugs,the story mode being more interesting and that the supporters listen to their players ( at least,that's what i read for most of the players complaining at) .

I don't even play ToF that much since POE2 launch, not doing any event, just logged in to grab my monthly, I experienced massive server lag when doing raid/va/wb, I know it's not my network problem since I have no issue playing a competitive game like valorant, apex, dota, and strinova. Hope this transfer will fixed my server lag issue.

The download goes from like 5MBps++ to 0 instantly eventhough your net got no problem whatsoever. The launcher download indicator froze, showing your last download speed but if you look at your net traffic it is nothing but background process (which usually just a few bytes) the countdown timer also froze. I was thinking it was the client applying patches to the files but the disk activity is also minimal. If you pause and resume it then it will reroll to certain value then most of the times stuck at the same value again later. If you wait then it would also reroll and most of the time stuck again, looped couple of times until eventually fixed itself for unknown reason, at that point you've downloaded like 20+gbs of data that goes whoever knows where. There are instances that the launcher stopped downloading midway to apply the patch, but on that occasion the dowload sped will show 0KBps and the timer will gradually decrease, also you'll see tens to hundreds mb write/read on your disk activity accessing files on tof folders.
gateoo. I'm a player who plays kr server. If you can afford it, can you also ask the Hotta about the future operation plan of the Korean server? Many KR server players are worrying about theif future. Because present Kr players are very loyal, and love Tof so much.
Perfect world game, you consistantly broke ps4 version every patch. After 4.2 ui buttons not work 80% of the time, clicking their bottom left corner work sometimes. Now with latest patch team join buttons not work, request and requested writes top of each other. I tried of writing feedback but nothing fix after 4.2 for months. This devs not listen and care! Sorry for my poor English.
ToF has consistently delivered updates and new simulacrum releases. It's hard to understand how some people believe this game is no longer active. There was a period when they rolled out new patches, expanded areas, added stories, and introduced a wealth of content nearly every 3-4 weeks. That was truly the peak of my enjoyment with ToF. There was always something exciting on the horizon, even while I was still exploring the current content. I really hope we can get back to that rapid update pace someday.
ToF shutting down would be believable. The gameplay of ToF nowadays feels nothing like it was on Aesperia imo. Which is why ive been playing increasingly less. I cant even motivate myself anymore for the free red nuc supply run login.
Will there be another region server transfer? I picked a server that I didn't think was an English server and didn't notice till i saw lot of players wasn't speaking English, and I've made payments to the game before I noticed.
Imagine putting so much money into CC's like Asmongold who were never gonna stay more than a week. I always wonder how effective using mythic talent really is. Could devs not put all that money into talent scouting up coming CC's and utilise them at a cheaper cost and have CC's in your pocket who are actually passionate.
It gets you a lot of eyes very quickly. Bigger CCs are simply bigger. The CCs they chose however were the type to like and move on in the event everything at launch was good (desired outcome), but will really trash on a game if there are widespread issues (what actually happened)
asmon never got sponsored stream for obvious reason, he will never get any chinese devs sponsors. but iirc asmon said despite not sponsored, he actually enjoy his time in tof

Considering Towers ground breaking success as of late....I just always think what if companies put that money into finding a CC in their game who could be like the next Caseoh ect. Imagine the ROI on that.

I think that after February 23, if you are not authorized in Perfect World, you will not be able to enter TOF and you will lose your account. I understood this because I registered in the TOF launcher itself, and I could easily enter the level pass from this account , without registration. Maybe I'm wrong.

If you wait then it would also reroll and most of the time stuck again, looped couple of times until eventually fixed itself for unknown reason, at that point you've downloaded like 20+gbs of data that goes whoever knows where.
There are instances that the launcher stopped downloading midway to apply the patch, but on that occasion the dowload sped will show 0KBps and the timer will gradually decrease, also you'll see tens to hundreds mb write/read on your disk activity accessing files on tof folders.
@@awqi024 it's a bad design, the launcher needs up to 2 times the game size during update as free space, or just stops and do nothing

Perfect world game, you consistantly broke ps4 version every patch. After 4.2 ui buttons not work 80% of the time, clicking their bottom left corner work sometimes. Now with latest patch team join buttons not work, request and requested writes top of each other. I tried of writing feedback but nothing fix after 4.2 for months. This devs not listen and care! Sorry for my poor English.
Are there any possible changes on strategies for the future versions? Like adding some new mechanics or updating the old ones, updating UI and so on?

ToF has consistently delivered updates and new simulacrum releases. It's hard to understand how some people believe this game is no longer active. There was a period when they rolled out new patches, expanded areas, added stories, and introduced a wealth of content nearly every 3-4 weeks. That was truly the peak of my enjoyment with ToF. There was always something exciting on the horizon, even while I was still exploring the current content. I really hope we can get back to that rapid update pace someday.

ToF shutting down would be believable. The gameplay of ToF nowadays feels nothing like it was on Aesperia imo. Which is why ive been playing increasingly less. I cant even motivate myself anymore for the free red nuc supply run login.

Will there be another region server transfer? I picked a server that I didn't think was an English server and didn't notice till i saw lot of players wasn't speaking English, and I've made payments to the game before I noticed.
Imagine putting so much money into CC's like Asmongold who were never gonna stay more than a week. I always wonder how effective using mythic talent really is. Could devs not put all that money into talent scouting up coming CC's and utilise them at a cheaper cost and have CC's in your pocket who are actually passionate.
It gets you a lot of eyes very quickly. Bigger CCs are simply bigger. The CCs they chose however were the type to like and move on in the event everything at launch was good (desired outcome), but will really trash on a game if there are widespread issues (what actually happened)
asmon never got sponsored stream for obvious reason, he will never get any chinese devs sponsors. but iirc asmon said despite not sponsored, he actually enjoy his time in tof
@@prohanta9360 Asmon received money from Hota, let's put it that way...maybe sponsored was a poor choice on my part for Asmon, but more so at other CC's under mythics banner who are well known to get the bag and dip the second the contract is done. Considering Towers ground breaking success as of late....I just always think what if companies put that money into finding a CC in their game who could be like the next Caseoh ect. Imagine the ROI on that.
@@kri1ndawn440 agreed and the whole get eyes on it quick just does not work in this day and age, ToF spent so much on so many CC's that were never gonna stay after their contract of a week ended, and considering how bad they are doing, was it good ROI on the first month maybe...but financials are never judged on 1 month alone and ToF been on a massive decline since the first weeks says a lot. Either way it's no big issue....just really thought provoking imo lol.
@@CheeseburgersImpact indirectly yes as otk got tof sponsors but asmon directly, i doubt it. he strongly criticized china and he pretty much brand risk for any chinese company, so won't get any chinese dev sponsor. but other otk members got that, miz and tect are some of them
what the benefit transfering from hotta/level infinite to hotta/perfect world?
I think that after February 23, if you are not authorized in Perfect World, you will not be able to enter TOF and you will lose your account. I understood this because I registered in the TOF launcher itself, and I could easily enter the level pass from this account , without registration. Maybe I'm wrong.
