Why would Kim need to take the bus anyways? It was a running gag in the show that she had helped out so many people that there were zillions within a convenient radius of any location who were willing to repay the favor and give her a ride. Feels like a missed opportunity to throwback to that.
Yeah! The scene would probably been better if they had her miss the bus due to saving the baby (if they really wanted to include that scene), and then she calls in a favor from someone who gives her a lift problem solved, lol. It'd be a subtle callback to that and also set up how many people are grateful to her because she's saved so many. The writers forgot about Show Don't Tell in this movie 😕

I actually really really like Alice In Wonderland because it has a very different feel. It is a 100% different, to the point where I don't actually consider it a live action, just another movie based on the same source material
I didn’t like that movie very much but I’d rather Disney went with that approach and made a remake that was different instead of shot for shot, cause there’s no way you’re gonna live up to the OGs so why even try to imitate it?

Idk, I think the actors in the remake did I really good job at making it feel different enough to the point where it's worth it to watch, but not different enough to where it doesn't feel like a different story
While I felt a bit iffy about the plot, which was kind of weak in my opinion, I genuinely liked the idea of Alice returning to Wonderland and finding out that it has completely changed since she last visited it. I like how they took the source material and made an interesting continuation of the original story. I also genuinely love the art direction in that movie, very atmospheric!
I'm also a pretty big fan of American McGee's Alice: Madness Returns, which is a game with the same premise, but it's executed quite differently

I loved Kim Possible, but this shitshow made me so sad. I came back to your vid years later and it still makes me angry that they did this to one of my favourtie childhood shows.
Also a major point of Kim Possible is that she hides that fact that she is a secret agent. Not running down her neighbourhood with a grapple gun
I wouldn't say she hides it, but she doesn't make as big a show of it like in this movie. Most people at her school don't seem to care about how she spends her time, as teens normally do.

You can only use the grappling hook horizontally if you press the L2 during a dodge roll, otherwise it fires up at too high an angle to be useful there. You'd think they'd let you manually aim it but I guess the controls were too much of a mess already.

Just adding on bc I’m annoying: Reboots are generally okay, because I think it’s a way to showcase development of technology and animation, and it sometimes adds more to the original story, ya know? But that being said, reboots shouldn’t be the main thing Disney should be focusing on, ESPECIALLY if they’re making shitty reboots like Kim possible. They should treat reboots as side projects. Disney should be using their funds to innovate. And if they can’t think of anything new, maybe they should hire different people with fresh ideas. There’s plenty of talented individuals out there who push boundaries and create extraordinary things. I just think Disney is afraid that if they create something original it would turn out to be a total flop.

the actors are weirdly young. like when i watched the show as a kid i always assumed because of their behavior that they were like.. juniors.

Here For Nothing they’re all the right age. Kim and Ron’s actors are 16 I believe and Wade was only 10 in the show so he looks right.
Tbh tho I wish they would have just made another animated movie and brought back the original voice actors but that’s more effort lol.
Edit: Okay Ron’s actor is 19 and Kim’s actor is 17.
i thought the kids on lizzie mcguire were like 16 and was shocked to find out (when i got older and understood age/grades better) that they were only in middle school. it happens when you're younger and can't grasp the concept that people that are older than you aren't all the same age
also these actors do look like high schoolers... and tbh it’s damaging to young kids to see adults in their 20s portraying teens anyways
