Y'all have been asking for it, so I'ma finally reveal Krush's backstory [even though I should've done that the day I uploaded this track lmao] This chapter takes place in the police station, unlike what most people thought in the comment section. Krush was a failed experiment that Gaster created. Krush was eventually discarded, and somehow managed to escape the depths. The reason why it ended up behind bars is because The Warden [this chapter's big bad] locked it away because of how dangerous it turned out to be. The reason why it requires the chain is not only because of it being dangerous, but also because Krush is actually super light despite its appearance. The reason why Susie, Ralsei and Noelle are currently drowning as we speak is because it has something to do with the depths. The 'puddle' is a direct portal to where Gaster and Dess are trapped in and if they successfully manage to sink, then all three of them will be lost in the depths forever. Kris has to defeat Krush before they all sink deeper yet deeper. Will Kris be able to save their friends? Or will they be lost for all eternity? Who knows lol
The twist is that Krisules is actually lighter than air, thanks to their muscles actually being just inflatable, and so needs the ball and chain to remain tethered to the ground.
I didn't notice the heartache motif for a second and it fits so well for Kris. While the kris we play isnt really kris, the heartache theme connects Kris to themself, making this really seem like Kris is doing the fighting rather than us.
Do like the idea of our influence gradually weakening the closer in-story to Gaster with him taking us out and putting us actually in the vessel. I just want Kris to be free, man
I don't care how seriously this fight is taken, krush will always crack me up looking at them. The buff ness, the Goku ass hair, and the fact they are pounding to the ground a teensy weensy sized version of them, is amazing. And paired with this amazing bop of a track, is so surreal.
i love this so much, the theme, the backstory, the design, krush is like if "freakazoid" was scary and intimidating, the wackiness of his power and how intimidating he is adds to it alot, and i love it so much, his design is so cool

well its connections to kris, most likely being a worst version of itself trying to find freedom in the worst way possible. Yeah Freedom motif should be here. Though its a common thing for just Secret bosses to have, This kris could be an exception since its so essential. Though I can see how it might make the motif feel redudant and loose meaning as its heard again and again. Making it annoying instead of hightening.
A destructive lookalike of Kris being one of the Shadow Crystal Holders (the Secret Bosses) is something that could actually happen in Deltarune, and this song is a great fit for that; I love the inclusion of the Heartache motif!

Due to the Cage breaking, the song have the saddened motif of Bengtruck, a theme of Tragedy. I do agree with the theory this kris would be a boss of the Church, representing kris's sins or possible ones. This boss techanlly wouldn't change much outside of some personality if you did the weird route.
