Are you able to easily pull the cam rotor out of the mechanical advance (I have a 450)

The units I see to be used with the mechanical advance on EBay don’t show the timing firing lights on them? They units that eliminate the advance and are green 8n color do? Am I missing something?

Would it be possible for this to work in an old Kawasaki KZ305? Really curious.

I been in the process of making one for a kz 305. There is a set up for a cb 350 that uses the stock rotor timing advancer. I bought the kit an made a backing plate for magnets to bolt on to. I should be done with it shortly.
