Thank you .Very intersting video. Reminds me old times traipsing through tropical markets in the Pacific. The produce are so organic and obvoiusly grown and bred (fish) in sustainable natural surroundings. You dont need to be a vegan ( either for dietary or philosophocal ideology) in the Pacific moana because consuming such direct farmer or fishermen to locals(even tourists) does not raise any concerns for long term dietary illnesses. Keep promoting such adventures
Those buses are so old, they haven't changed much since I was growing up in Nasinu in the early 90s, in fact most of Suva city has changed little since that time. The memories.
Hello. I'm a new subscriber to your channel, and must I say I love your content ! Also to let you know, the name of that big green thing, we call it. Papaya or Popo, and for the brown one, you peel it, and it is called Dalo ( in Fijian ) and in English we call it Taro. You can boil Taro and put some salt while Boling, and it can be eaten with many foods. For Papaya if you want you can leave it to be ripe and peel the skin off. Then cut it in half and take out the seeds because its bitter, and then you can eat it as a dessert. Have a great day. 💖🥰👍
Of course the vendor accepted the Australian coin because its worth more they can easily exchange it for Fijian currency locally. By paying with Australian coin you paid more for the item.
Please remember there is alot of hidden cost in bring vegetables and fruits and the rest to market place . It would help alot to those sellers especially if you from overseas. Alot of local people on poverty line can not afford this. Also its good value what you are paying. Thank you
We actually watched 3 other locals purchase the salmon cod before us and they all paid the same price! The salmon cod or leopard coral grouper is a prized fish in asian cuisine so we wanted to try it :) In comparison to the salmon cod, we bought 5 parrot fish for $15 a few weeks before this.

Hi, new subscriber here. I love how cheap the banana.

All those fish, zero ice & fliessss? 🤢
Freshly caught stupid
They went to fishing in this earliest. Morning abt 12am to 7 am..
Fish is fresh, arrives by boat early mornings just next to the market. No need for ice this early.

আপনি কি ফিজি থাকেন
$40 for 5 fish like that is VERY VERY EXPENSIVE!! Not for me!! Nina
Yep!!.. because they need to feed their family and fuels for the boats..
@@DeafboyGalau-mk3ip so they rip off the public to “feed their families and buy fuel” VERY VERY BAD!! NINA
Remember that $40 Fijian…so if your coming form overseas…that extremely cheap…excellent value.
😢😢
yo $40 for 5 fish is too expensive...shes robbing you guys..im fijian and that prize is way too much
Don't forget that's a Solman cord it's a expensive fish n yummy aswell I think it's a good price.

Talking about how expensive fish is come to Australia 🇦🇺
You’d be going home with one side of a fish (fillet)for $15
The markets is look dirty. Some of the food display on the wet ground. Unhealthy places for tourists.
Please don't talk bad about my country of birth. Are you Samoan?
