60 years of dedicated service and at same time, honest , hard work. The Govt of Fiji should give recognition and offer a medal of honour.

He's an icon of Suva. I think every school student that passed through the bus stand will remember him. My most vivid memory of him was that he was always so well groomed, always looked neat, clean and tidy and even with some style. I remember his long ponytail at one time and always wearing neat, attractive bula shirts. But then I always noticed his shoes too because they were the only thing that gave a clue about how hard he works. The soles were always worn down on one side. What a great man. Thank you Mr Ali for your hardwork and sharing your wisdom. God bless you.

I believe he should have also been given the Fiji 50 Years Independence Medal for his contribution to the society. Im sure all those that have come to the Suva Bus Stand (especially those that went to school in Suva) then and now, would have remembered his face or have have bought bean/peanut from him.

Great short film showing one of the hard working fijians. I love Fiji and will try and catch up with this Muasam when I am in Fiji on November. Fiji is my second home as I went to Suva Grammar 1959 to end 1960 as my dad was in the air force at Lauthala Bay. It was a fantastic experience for me and family. Coming from Auckland to Suva was certainly different for us but we soon adopted the "Fiji way of life" Vinaka. Ian Langley - New Zealand

I can still remember this inspiring man from my USP years (2013 - 2016). I'm so glad that I use to buy the delicious peanuts and beans from you while waiting for the Vatuwaqa bus to depart.
Much love and respect from Solomon Islands.

This is a lovely story! A true local legend. The filmography is brilliant also, well done and hope to see more stories in the future ❤️
