Thanks for the review Ted. Lovely design and its nice to see some competition in the APS-C space. The Xt3/xt4 is great, but its my hope that these new canons will put some pressure on Fuji to up their AutoFocus game.
Thanks for this preview as always. You mentioned the Fujifilm XT4. I was considering picking one of those up for sports hybrid shooting. Now I am thinking the R7. I already have a few canon EF mount lenses that can be adapted to either camera. I sense either would be a great upgrade to my 5D4. Agree?
As lovely as the X-T4 would be, I’d think the easier/smooth adapting scenario is to grab one of the Canons. But if somebody gave me a freebie X-T4, I wouldn’t say no haha
While the R7 has good autofocus, SD cards fill up quickly and take longer for the buffer to clear. This can be an issue, especially for photographers looking for an APS-C camera for wildlife and BIF. The other issue is the 2.1M EVF, which makes me wonder if Canon has another mirrorless APS-C camera in the works that has a higher resolution EVF and the ability to use CF Express Type B cards or if Canon has decided that if photographers want a faster buffer and higher resolution EVF than the R7, the only Canon cameras with these improvements will be mirrorless FF.
Excellent comment Mark! Get Pro Grsde, or Delkin UHS-II and that helps, of course the actual buffer of the Camera will be what determines the outcome. I gotta say, canon is either stupid, or cheap, or both. This camera should have had a better EVF. It would not hav affected sales of any of their other cameras. I have the R7 and in real world conditions I have had no issues with the EVF. I also have an R6 and can't really tell much difference between viewfinders. I have been shooting C-Raw at high speed (15 fps) electronic shutter on skiddish flying and perched birds. I have found 15 fps plenty fast to get amazing action shots. I have not hit the buffer once, nor had any issues with buffer clearing. As for rolling shutter, the only time I have noticed any issue at all is in a few shots taken while panning. Most shots have been fine. The autofocus has been fast and accurate. I think people sometimes freak out over specifications when real world results is all that matters. The camera you want would likely have been at or more than $2,500.00. Not really sure that there is a market in 2023 for a $2,500.00-$3,000.00 APS-C camera. To me, it has the right features at the right price. This camera makes a nice upgrade from either the 7d ii or 90d.
I look forward to your low light review of the R7. I a few years into my unit stills photography journey and with the cameras I have and the types of shoots (very limited light) I’m having issue with shots almost being unusable due to noise. I’m working with a Fuji xt-3 (but that only has the 16-50 kit lens) and a now decade old Canon 60D which has most of my glass. I want to upgrade the 60D to either the R7 or the R6 and it’ll be interesting to see what’s the best option since the cost between the two is quite a lot
Great overview as always. I definitely think that having a shared mount is important.... I use a full frame Sony system and my wife much prefers the size of APS-C. It's nice to be able to share lenses between the systems.... especially the primes and long zooms. For the most part it comes down to "how big a camera do I want to carry around with me". I will say that I am surprised with the performance of that R7.... looks like a very compelling option (but obviously a bit bigger than the Sony APS-C). Shame the lenses start at 18mm though.... 29mm equivalent FF really is quite a compromise. I am honestly surprised that they effectively released a compelling vlogging camera without a wide angle option that would work with it. They should have released a ~15mm F2 prime.... that would be SWEET.
There is the EF-S 10-18 F/4.5-5.6. Since I have the EF/RF adapter already, I pre-ordered the R7 and will buy that lens. It's stabilized so it should work well for vlogging.

Now when Canon stepped into the APS-C game with quite good options with the R-system. I hope there will come a Nikon Z70 or a Z90 DX model with AF like the Z9 and maybe now it is time to make a better build than the Z6/Z7 variants ... Also time for a Z50 II. I had a R7 in my hands last week and really liked the way it is. It is a promising camera for wildlife and other. So please Nikon a decent DX camera for the Z-system is a must ... we loved the D500!!!
There is no free lunch. You get more depth of field with the same intensity but as the sensor is smaller the total amount of light is less. In practice this shows so that you cannot raise the ISO as much.
I'm a M5 user and have no interest on R apsc body. I love M system. I think advantage for apsc is small body, small lenses and affordable system. If I would compromise those advantages I would go into full frame and it won't be canon. Thanks for video.
@@mikebeon2539 I didn't say I'll change mine right away, did I? But, technology is improving; eye auto focus is inrceadibly usefull in my opinion, as with ibis, or sealed bodies. Lenses getting better and better, and I will want to use them eventually.
Thanks for the great review. I pre-ordered an R7 two days after release.. now I'm impatiently waiting for it. Understanding that you had the two cameras for a very short time, how would you rate the ISO performance, maybe compared to the 90D? Thanks!
Great review Ted! One question though, you say the autofocus is just like the R3 with picking up the subjects. However, you say the R5 and R6 have a different system. To me as an R6 user, I have exactly the experience you’re describing: whenever my kids walk into frame, it starts tracking, the same goes for my friends dog when there are no people in the shot, it automatically starts tracking. Was this because of a firmware update or am I just incredibly lucky?
The R10 shoots 10 bit 422 in HDR PQ. Yes, it's not LOG, but still quite serviceable if you want 10 bit. Personally, I prefer to set up a prolost flat profile and just shoot 8 bit h.264, which is totally fine for a large number of videos. Canon Log is nice, but not totally necessary.
@@tobyr8555 Internal. Look at the tech specs on Canon's website. It records standard h.264 in 8 bit 4:2:0 and there's an HDR PQ mode that records h.265 10 bit 4:2:2. Both are internal recording.
Great video. If I was going for an APS-C mirrorless camera, I would definitely switch back to Canon. The R7 initial specs remind me of the 7D II for usage for shooting birds. Thanks for all the info.
It's just not as good as the 8 year old 7D mk2. Weather sealing is poor, you hit the buffer in 1 second and takes 12-15 seconds to clear. Coupled with the old sensor from the 90D. It's really not that great unless you are looking for a very average video camera.
@@doghouseriley4732 This has been proven incorrect. While it's not sold as completely weather proof, it does have weather sealing, and plenty of people have taken it out in the rain without issue already. The buffer is dependent on how fast your card is. If you're around 250+/MB second write, you will get around 3+ seconds of buffer at 30fps, and if you go mechanical at 15fps, it's almost endless. If you feather the button, you will have no issue with either mode. The buffer clears incredibly quick and you don't have to wait to keep shooting, it will give you chunks of 5 or so images at a time to use. For me, it takes about 5 seconds to clear the buffer entirely. The autofocus has been proven as nothing short of "insane". It's really, really, REALLY good. I am finding it almost impossible to have a blurry image. Even the rolling shutter concerns are being put to bed with professional wildlife photographers not having an issue, with maybe one or two images, out of dozens, showing any warping. I went from the 7D mk2 to the R7 and it's a revelation. I believe in a year or so, after initial thoughts like the one above have been proven incorrect, it will be regarded as the true successor to the 7D mk2. It does everything, and way, way more. An absolutely amazing camera, IMO.
Hi Ted, enjoy your channel very much! Question…Do you know if Canon has addressed the potential “loose hot shoe” issue that was prevalent in some of the R5 and R6 bodies? I believe you can only tighten them from inside the camera vs. having access to them externally. Thanks again! 😀
Good video. For the full review, I would appreciate seeing more on the noise/ISO issue and the effect of high pixel density on final image quality. It seems that a crop body with pixel density 4 times as great as a FF body may show pixel peepers issues with noise and sharpness when we look at every pixel but when the final print is made (lets say 20x30") the greater number of pixels would offset some of the issues compared to the camera with fewer but larger pixels. How this actually works out is a question. I have been satisfied with ISO 12,800 on my RP but want the crop for distant birds so the R7 is a specific camera for a specific job rather than a do-all end-all. I will keep the RP for landscapes and studio where IBIS and autofocus are not of use. I would appreciate your investigating how all this works out in the real world. The interesting statistic might just be how many of the first wave of R7's delivered on July 1 are available for resale on August 1 or January 1. I regret not having the new toy until summer is half gone but past experiences suggest committing to a pre-order before cameras exist may not be wise. I'll buy one if and when sellers can ship when my payment clears (milliseconds?) rather than at some unspecified date. Subscribed.
I must thank you a lot for this video of difference where some the maestros on youtube channels I regularly watch have their faces showed in this unique one!! I'm pretty impressed with the new canon's R7 APSC line up with a huge price advantage!! But I was expecting to hear about heat management of R7 & R10 which is big issue for canon's full frame mirrorless cameras when it come to videos!! Does Canon come up with thermal Issues eradicated in the cameras like the Sony APSC cameras?!! Please do not forget to remember my gratitude to Jarred Pollin and Jordan, they are prolific!!
Yea I'm going over to this APSC camera having always used full frame and I also have been thinking I often thought my shallow DOF was too shallow. I really had to be careful for instance shooting pets with the 70-200 f2.8. Am I correct in thinking if I use the EF to RF mount adapter with an EFS lens like the Canon 10-22mm EFS I will get a really wide FOV like maybe 15mm, 35mm equivalent ??
Thanks for this review. Is the new APS-C sensor used in these two cameras the exact same size as the one used in the EOS 90D? If so would my EF-S lenses used here with the EF-EOS R ring give me full sensor coverage? Any image quality benefit with the new sensor?
I’m thinking of getting the R7 with the RF100-500mm lens. I’m not sure how the crop factor comes in place here. I think I effectively will be using a 160-800mm lens, but will I get the full 32MB images or does the crop factor also have an impact on the size of the resulting images?! I’m also thinking of using a macro lens with the R7, but I suspect the RF100mm macro lens will be a little too long lens at 160mm?!
great appreciate your review as im considering my budget upgrade after 9 years to canon 90d or now the R7 - i wonder thouh if you migh hazzard a guess at what the crop will be if i attach my EFS lenses using the adaptor like my favourite 18-135 EF-S will it end up being worse than the current 1.6x crop i already get on my canon 700d?
Love the channel! I'm really impressed with the r7. Deciding on whether I should go for that or the upcoming Fujifilm xh2s. I'm guessing the latter will be massively improved but have that price tag to match. Need to decide if the upgrades are worth it
The AF of the R7 is attractive to me, just a bummer the good RF lenses are pricey and the RF-S models announced a bit disappointing. The XH2s is a bit of a different beast, as it's going to be a high end model with a stacked BSI sensor, what will be very interesting is the AF performance, as otherwise the Fuji X system is a great choice.
Well you have a comparison video from like the Canon r&rp because it seems like for that price you might as well just go full frame. What are your thoughts on this?
I wish they had clog on the r10.. it would have been a great little video machine with all the other features. Having said that, the intended target audience probably won’t miss it.
I am curious how the mechanical AF/MF switch on the front of these bodies works. If the lens has a physical switch and the body has a physical switch, it seems like the user interface is ripe for confusion and frustration. For example, the lens switch is thrown into AF, but the camera remains in MF because the body switch is still set to MF.
Unfortunately camera sales are way down, I blame overpricing and slow advancements from model to model. Remember when they said APSC was dead , full frame was the new format but low and behold thats not the case. If only the camera developers had advanced as quick as the cell phone guys did . My phone is always there super quick response time and video to die for. I was a camera guy but lost interest. The average consumer has caught on and its left to the professionals like yourself and others to continue to pick up the pieces.
I am very excited about the R7, maybe this will light a fire under other manufacturers. being a Sony shooter it is frustrating for the last five years we have been askingFor a high-end APSC camera and we're still getting the A6xxx little toys with a recycled sensor . I love my A1, but I would love to be able to have a good APSC body I could trust with a good battery life and good ergonomics.
Canon has such a confusing line up with now two kinds of apsc cameras (with two lens line ups?) Their naming conventions make it even worse. I am super confused
Out here in Oz, for body only, it's about $1500 for the R10 and $2300 for the R7. With the 18-150mm lens, the R7 is about $2800 and the R10 with the same lens is $2050.
Due to R7 and R10 being a crop factor, Can you shed some light on the RF Speed booster (and using EF lenses) that was originally deigned for the C70? Would this work on the R7 and R10 Would be a epic combination to be honest if it does work
Can I save a burst (it doesn't have to be 30 fps) with the electronic shutter and access all the raw files of the burst without effort? I would like to use them for multi frame noise reduction and for simulating a long exposure. Can I use the normal continuous shooting mode with the electronic shutter?
Although Canon said those were new sensors, I can't help it, I think that's BS. There is probably minor differences sure, but I really looks like the R10 has the same sensor as the M50/250D and the R10 has the same sensor as the M6II/90D. Minor changes being there to account for the change in the processor department. I guess we'll have to wait until we can review the RAW files, but the resolution is the same, the ISO range is the same. I hope I'm wrong but it seems like marketing BS again About the comparison with other camera systems : I would say that your whole system is as good as your lens lineup. You can have the best camera ever, if you can only mount trash lenses on it it's going to be a bad camera system. This is the exact reason why I think Fuji is still ahead of the game in the APS-C space, as they have very good lenses for pretty much every budget (budget zooms, mid range zooms, high end zooms, same thing for primes pretty much). Right now, the best option I would see for those new Canons (especially the R10) is to get old EF-S glass to go with it. RF glass is still way too expensive for people that buy that kind of camera (makes a bit more sense for the R7, but that's still a stretch to me). The system is overall just as bad as the Nikon APC-C line of cameras : two kit lenses that are "meh" and then expensive full frame glass, with the best option being older APS-C adapted glass from the DSLR era
Good day, tell canon that they are spoiling the capacity of their dslr in terms of video specs and we dont like that. All their dslr/mirrorless top of the lines (1DX, 5D, 6D, 7D & 80D) were having .MOV high capacity for editing video footages, but now only the Canon R (because it introduced the new system), R5 and R3 that have great .MOV ALL-I high quality video footages from the box. The R6 IPB, 90D IPB, all M-Series IPB and mostly all of them MP4 format while MP4 is a finishing format not an editing format as most of us like to do some tweaking etc... AND NOW EVEN THE APSC TOP OF THE LINE R7 STILL IPB FORMAT, MAN WHAT NO SNESE IS THIS???
I’m sorry, the R7 isn’t quite pro level in some respects In my humble opinion. Pro level for me would to have had a Stacked BSI sensor, a CF Express Card, and the weather sealing of at least an R6 or better. Maybe one day 🙏🏻 Lol! 😊
This R7 should have been called the R8 leaving open the R7 name to go with the above mentioned specs of a pro level APC camera like the former 7D Mark II for its time. 😊
Yes I believe the RF-S is the same actual mount it just means the lens only covers an APS-C image circle. So you can use RF or RF-S lenses on the Canon R7 and R10 flawlessly. I think you could also do the opposite and use an RF-S lens on an RF mount if you use a crop mode on the camera.
@@mattland3924 On fact the camera goes automatically in the crop mode. On some models you can disable that. In RP you cannot. I think in Raw you get the whole image.
I would also add from a video standpoint that APSC is closer to traditional cinema cameras from a sensor size standpoint, and that means lens aberrations and and depth of field will more accurately match that of more traditional theatrical movies. While one can decrease their aperture size with a full frame sensor to mimic much of the look some of the lens characteristics mentioned, most notably aberrations, will also change slightly. Also traditional cinema lenses will not cover a full frame sensor, so one would have to crop the sensor just to use them in the first place. Just things one should consider when figure out what they are using a camera for.
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 I strongly believe that the R7 is not a flagship apsc r camera. It's not a fully weather sealed body. It dosen't have the 3 pin remote connector It dosen't have gps It dosen't have 3 dial wheels. It dosen't have a full size or a mini hdmi It dosen't have wifi 6 support or an inbuilt wifi transmitter. Dosen't have a top info display screen like the R5 It dosen't have an Ethernet port / it dosen't support the WFT battery grip even though it's the same battery. And it dosen't have a CF express card. No flash sinc port And it dosen't have high res view finder and a high res back screen even though Canon already dose it for the R5. This is a 90d successor and not a 7d mark 2 successor. I think canon will put it all these features in an other camera and call it a R9 and that it will come with a 2000$ price tag .
Price, performance for size and FF is not all it's cracked up to be. YMMV and if you like FF, then stick with it. But, remember, most professional video cameras don't use FF sensors. They're either MFT or APS-C sized chips. And, if they're specialised cameras like iMax, they use MF sensors. Or, film.
I kind of agree. Save a little longer and get the R6! But it’s a brilliant camera for enthusiasts! Or pro’s looking for a lightweight every day carry(?)

As a life long Canon shooter I have absolutely NO INTEREST in the R7/R10. My Samsung phone shoots 8k video and 108 Mp . The FF RP is a better bargain. I have an Elan 7n film camera and a 40D APS-C DSLR for the infrequent times I need an ILCamera.
your samsung 8k is crap compared to a 4k camera. many people have done such comparison. RP is the worse, unusable 4k without autofocus, lower fps, smaller battery, 30 minute record limit, 8bit video, no log, lower fps for photo, no 4k 60. these r7 and r10 destroy the rp easily. maybe except for portrait in lower light. 40d is a webcam.

There is no free lunch. You get more depth of field with the same intensity but as the sensor is smaller the total amount of light is less. In practice this shows so that you cannot raise the ISO as much.
Great video and right to the stop arguments. Nice that you filmed other You Tubers. Points to your positive attitude towards other You Tubers.
I'm a M5 user and have no interest on R apsc body. I love M system. I think advantage for apsc is small body, small lenses and affordable system. If I would compromise those advantages I would go into full frame and it won't be canon.
Thanks for video.
I have an M50 mk ii... im sticking with what I have
@@mikebeon2539 I didn't say I'll change mine right away, did I? But, technology is improving; eye auto focus is inrceadibly usefull in my opinion, as with ibis, or sealed bodies. Lenses getting better and better, and I will want to use them eventually.
@@aerena yo relax! I didn’t say that you did. I am speaking for myself. I was agreeing with you.
Another fantastic review.
Can you check for me how the focus peaking is done in the R7?
Thanks.
Thanks for the great review. I pre-ordered an R7 two days after release.. now I'm impatiently waiting for it. Understanding that you had the two cameras for a very short time, how would you rate the ISO performance, maybe compared to the 90D?
Thanks!
You're simply awesome Ted! Thank you so much!
Canon just sponsored me their R5. It's a beast. Now I wanna try their new bodies!
Oh I missed that. Is that internal or external recording?
@@doghouseriley4732 Bollocks
I'm pretty sure the R10 also has 4:2:2 10 bit internal recording... otherwise, awesome video!
Excellent review as always Ted, with the current set of APSC bodies on the market by the major brands is it possible to do a manufacturer comparison?
Does the R7 have a 29 minute recording limit?
No
no cripple hammer this time,. no overheating,.
If it does not, that would be incredible!!!
Interesting. Hopefully canon didn’t do the typical artificial limiting on the camera that they’re famous for.
Woahhh I saw all youtubers at one place 😳😳🔥🔥🔥
the R7 have autofocus tracking shotting 120 fps?
Depth-of-field works the same on any format for macro or anything else.
@@nightowlnzab I'm guessing if they're going all out like the om 1, it will be massively improved. They can't hold back anymore in this day and age
Don't suppose Canon mentioned if there will be a grip for the R7?
Well you have a comparison video from like the Canon r&rp because it seems like for that price you might as well just go full frame. What are your thoughts on this?
I wish they had clog on the r10.. it would have been a great little video machine with all the other features. Having said that, the intended target audience probably won’t miss it.
So are they ending the M line?
first!!!
Second!
Lol :))
Who's third?
I am curious how the mechanical AF/MF switch on the front of these bodies works. If the lens has a physical switch and the body has a physical switch, it seems like the user interface is ripe for confusion and frustration. For example, the lens switch is thrown into AF, but the camera remains in MF because the body switch is still set to MF.
If there is one, the lens switch takes priority, apparently.
APS-C aside, the R7 looks better than the RP, which is full frame, one card slot and terrible battery performance.
You should make these packs for videos as well
Like editing in the Adobe Premier or final cup Pro

Is There 4K Apature Video Mode?
Interesting. Maybe you could drop by the store (FW Camera) at some point and discuss further with Davren and me?
We have work to do my friend
Is the battery door removable to accept a grip?
I use canon r6 for my RUclips videos. It is fantastic camera. I love it))))💙🌛I think that r10 or r7 will fantastic cameras too for some tasks
Same here. These camera’s will probably be near top of the list when enthusiasts and newbies ask me which camera to get.
Goodbye EOS-M, it's nice to know you.
Canon said that the sensor in the R7 is the same sensor from the 90D with some adjustments, so it's not really a new sensor.
Decisions. I was about 3 days away from buying the eos r. The r7 looks amazing though
With the 18-150mm lens, the R7 is about $2800 and the R10 with the same lens is $2050.
huh?? its only 1,500 only for R7
The prices are pretty high huh? For a bit more you could stretch to the R6!!
@@kenjiyamamoto423 he is not talking about US dollars. Read again
Brand new design, old sensor tech :))
Due to R7 and R10 being a crop factor, Can you shed some light on the RF Speed booster (and using EF lenses) that was originally deigned for the C70?
Would this work on the R7 and R10
Would be a epic combination to be honest if it does work
Don’t respond to this reply about being a winner, it’s a scam!!
I can’t speak for the Canon, but I would expect the Metabones and Viltrox variants will work quite nicely (as they do on the R5)
Yup it’s a trap 🪤
Can I save a burst (it doesn't have to be 30 fps) with the electronic shutter and access all the raw files of the burst without effort? I would like to use them for multi frame noise reduction and for simulating a long exposure. Can I use the normal continuous shooting mode with the electronic shutter?
you shoulda had Fro and Manny argue over how to hold a camera shooting lol
1:31 4k 60p on the Canon R7 is not oversampled. only 4k 24 and 30 is
Now I want M50 with the R10 specs
No 4K Apeature or 4K Shutter Video Mode!
Had Canon released the R7 one year ago, I wouldn't have settled for Sony.
Dang I wish I went to XL Soccer that day. I live near there lol I was watching the review and I'm like hey I know that place haha
I wish itd just been like $300-500 more for stacked sensor and back lit. I'd trade that for better electronic and lowlight capabilities
I hope I'm wrong but it seems like marketing BS again
About the comparison with other camera systems : I would say that your whole system is as good as your lens lineup.

Canon shouldve made just 1 model with a 24mp BSI sensor, a high megapixel FSI sensor is really pushing it these days.
But do they have Fuji color ???
please review the r8
I’m sorry, the R7 isn’t quite pro level in some respects In my humble opinion. Pro level for me would to have had a Stacked BSI sensor, a CF Express Card, and the weather sealing of at least an R6 or better. Maybe one day 🙏🏻 Lol! 😊
This R7 should have been called the R8 leaving open the R7 name to go with the above mentioned specs of a pro level APC camera like the former 7D Mark II for its time. 😊
So you were able to put RF glass on these bodies without an adapter? But they also have dedicated APS-C ‘RF-S’ lenses?
Yes I believe the RF-S is the same actual mount it just means the lens only covers an APS-C image circle. So you can use RF or RF-S lenses on the Canon R7 and R10 flawlessly.
I think you could also do the opposite and use an RF-S lens on an RF mount if you use a crop mode on the camera.
That’s actually pretty neat!
@@mattland3924 On fact the camera goes automatically in the crop mode. On some models you can disable that. In RP you cannot. I think in Raw you get the whole image.
Price in india?
I would also add from a video standpoint that APSC is closer to traditional cinema cameras from a sensor size standpoint, and that means lens aberrations and and depth of field will more accurately match that of more traditional theatrical movies. While one can decrease their aperture size with a full frame sensor to mimic much of the look some of the lens characteristics mentioned, most notably aberrations, will also change slightly. Also traditional cinema lenses will not cover a full frame sensor, so one would have to crop the sensor just to use them in the first place. Just things one should consider when figure out what they are using a camera for.
It’s actually smaller than some cell phones!
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I strongly believe that the R7 is not a flagship apsc r camera.
It's not a fully weather sealed body.
It dosen't have the 3 pin remote connector
It dosen't have gps
It dosen't have 3 dial wheels.
It dosen't have a full size or a mini hdmi
It dosen't have wifi 6 support or an inbuilt wifi transmitter.
Dosen't have a top info display screen like the R5
It dosen't have an Ethernet port / it dosen't support the WFT battery grip even though it's the same battery.
And it dosen't have a CF express card.
No flash sinc port
And it dosen't have high res view finder and a high res back screen even though Canon already dose it for the R5.
This is a 90d successor and not a 7d mark 2 successor.
I think canon will put it all these features in an other camera and call it a R9 and that it will come with a 2000$ price tag .
CANON is KING! Always Has Been! 💪
Any fellow m6 mark ii here ? 😜
Wow
Do you ever get demonitized when you say "shoot yourself" that many times in a video?
And I just got an M6 mk ii maybe a month ago. 😡
Ouch!
not for me, why would you go for this rather than full frame
$1500 for 30 fps stills shooting is a pretty decent deal
Price, performance for size and FF is not all it's cracked up to be. YMMV and if you like FF, then stick with it. But, remember, most professional video cameras don't use FF sensors. They're either MFT or APS-C sized chips. And, if they're specialised cameras like iMax, they use MF sensors. Or, film.
I kind of agree. Save a little longer and get the R6! But it’s a brilliant camera for enthusiasts! Or pro’s looking for a lightweight every day carry(?)
Because is cheaper?
I know. My family always complains because they can tell my photos are not full frame.
R7 is too big or I would buy it. I like more compact cameras ✌️

How can you know already?
40d is a webcam.
speedbooster never going to be off this
