Whoohoo another great video..... I had to watch this video twice because I could not fault it.... The interaction you have with Pyae Thet was excellent... She is extremely comfortable with you... You ask the questions and she got the answers from herself or the street sellers.... This video shows how cheap street food is in Myanmar... And the different types you can buy Soon I won't have to go to Myanmar in October because you have answered all my questions... One of your best videos yet... Well done! Side note... Can I request a video on street food sweets?
Thanks for the detailed feedback. One of the new things I did when recording this video was to use a RODE microphone and I think it has improved the audio. The conversation with Pyae Thet is easily picked up by the microphone while a lot of the noise from the street is cancelled out. The downside is that it limits the camera moves I can do with the gimbal as the camera has a big microphone stuck on top now. Thanks for the tip about making a video about street food sweets. I will try to make a video about this at some point in the near future.
Hello, Khalil If you are in Myanmar Oct 17 - Nov 14. Please join the Yangon Then & Now Expo scheduled on 18-20 October 2019 (09:00Am to 11:00PM) at the Myanmar Expo Hall @ Fortune Plaza.
Impossible to us that you can make cook and sell for those low prices. The goal lady was a dear old soulfriendly pleasant chatty in her own way and a great marketer of her products. Thumbs up on this one for sure. Bushyboy Oz.
I'm visiting soon. Great to see the street food. Are there many cheap hostels/hotels too? Accommodation used to be relatively expensive. Anyone know how it is now?
Hi Rick, if you like Pyae Thet you will probably enjoy this video from your membership section of the channel: ruclips.net/video/7OcB15MNY5Y/видео.html
Great video. Partly different than your recent videos - good that you let the girls do the talking now instead of that male voice of back then. But what a pity that you do not use the local first names of your presenters now but the English ones instead. I do not like renaming people to a foreign name. Also it is quite strange that the girl has to ask about prices - no price displays there.
Kishore poudel ji at present where are you. I want some information like today rates of snacks, nanbya, seehtamin, htataya, mounhinkha, etc, petrol,( those days if i not mistaken per gallon rate was around 5/to6/;kyat in 1974/5.. please be keep in touch. Thnx
damn..these people are much friendlier than the french you can find in paris, furthermore, the nepalese (dimsum man) try to speak english !!!...in France, they will look funny at tourists if you don't speak french to them or will just ignore you.. I am french by the way :)
Pyae Thet is a upcoming local celebrity in her own right, she with a local girl group name Minicorn (i would say Pyae Thet is the visual of the group) . Now she is a guest on this channel. Of course, she is cute and pretty. 😘
The Shan Noodle does not same real Shan Noodle. If you really want to eat real Shan noodle, you should come to Taunggyi. the city of the south Shan state. It is really nice to visit. If you want to try, we are warmly welcome 😍

Very cheap and obviously very tasty snack foods as no one gives a free sample if they are not confident with what they have to sell 🌹🌹🌹
I used to purchase bhudi kyaw bhayakyaw @ 15 to 20paise per piece around 1970 and mounhinkha was 25 paise per bowl. Plain dosa was 25 paise.
Wow, crazy cheap, and it made me hungry! Pyae Thet's hair looks darker. I like it.
Thanks for the comment, Carl. I used a different colour filter when editing this video which may explain Pyae Thet's darker hair colour.

Vendors on Street foods in Thailand and Vietnam will charge you a higher price for tourists. But in here all of vendors's prices are way too low.

Being a vlogger, you yourself should try the foods not just asking how it taste. Looks like you don't like their foods.

Do you have a Face Book contact for Pyae Thet...I would be interested in hiring her as a guide when I am able to visit Yangon...Thank You

Hello Kennie - all the "guest guides" are in fact professional models working in Yangon. They do not work for a tour agency. Sorry to disappoint you.
mmmm woman handles food, then money, then food.... and so it goes on. Delhi Belly guaranteed???
Rubbish....
Why?
