@teagananderson1258 depend on the logo. It's it's screen printed it will take the dye. Vinyl won't. Usually I turn the tshirt inside out. Also I will tie the logo first to protect it. All I do it put all of the logo inside of its self. Sometimes I put it in a zip lock bag. Most times I'm just carful with my dye around the logo.
What would you recommend if I only wanted to tie dye the bottom portion of the shirt and not the whole shirt….. would I be able to do the swirl method with only doing the bottom portion?

After the bleaching you should be soaking it in peroxide to neutralize the bleach, skipping that step could potentially weaken the shirt
