I bought the double album for my sister of this recording for Christmas when I was 13 years old. It was possibly the most amazing piece of art I ever purchased. Looking back on this all these years later, Kurt was a mesmerizing one of a kind gifted performer. He is truly missed
I was born 15 years after you died, 1994. My father listened to nirvana and still listens, now I am a young man listening to nirvana with him. Thank you, Kurt Cobain, I will always admire you - you are really cool.
i had this on vinyl i played it constantly , until my not any longer person sold my record collection, rare edition white vinyl, i would play it to 2 year old son whos now 30 hye cut his chops on that collection, it served a purpose im happy its complete
I was 14 in 93 but I won't pretend they were my favourite band at the time I did like some grunge music but made my own mix tapes liked classic rock and country different genres too not all modern stuff. Then it played constantly on TV and I get bored of it when it's too popular and overplayed.
I was 14 and I'll never forget it. No matter how bad things get, I'll always have my experiences from the 90s. They were by far my favorite band at 14 and throughout the rest of my years
I was also 13 in 93. Nirvana was one of my favorite bands for a couple years by then. It was crazy because I loved Nirvana back then, and didn't realize how amazing they actually were because they were just what I knew at that time. Nothing has come out since that compares and that just makes those years so much more special in hindsight. I think it's cool today to see kids wearing Nirvana shirts and share that same love for their music that I had back when it was all happening.
In my opinion this is a heavy contender for my favorite songs of all time. And this specific take more then the one on the record. Very melancholy and beautiful!

Life goal: Be as happy as Krist at 2:07
I love the backing vocals on this. They add heaps
its about flat earth
The most authentic 'rock star' ever. The people's rock star.
1:41 I always feel my life passing by, good and bad memories when I listen to this part of the song
Exactly, this part of the song whether unplugged or studio version is so good
Such an absolutely iconic live take.
The Best Unplugged ever!!!

I cried listening to this song it means so much to me and my family
❤️
Nirvana never made a bad song
Yeah, because the lead singer blew his head off before they could.
He was killed.
Have you heard Beeswax? And I say this as a dedicated Nirvana/Kurt Cobain fan
@@ultrateamxz8121 what are you talking about?
"Beeswax" is awesome.
Moist Vagina is pretty terrible. And also agree that Beeswax is sub-par.
Kurt’s shy little “thank you” at the end. 🥺
This song is so underrated, should have way more views.
its about flat earth
It warms my heart to hear the applause at the start when the crowd recognizes the song.
Masterpiece.
dude they’re spoiling us with all of these!!:)
I don't understand these comments, has no one seen this before? No one owns the dvd? Nothing?
Kris Frederick well i don’t, so it’s nice to see it on youtube
@@isabellecrapo Amen, you are correct. It just surprised me at first
I was born 15 years after you died, 1994. My father listened to nirvana and still listens, now I am a young man listening to nirvana with him. Thank you, Kurt Cobain, I will always admire you - you are really cool.
This is a gem!
This song has played on repeat in my head for the last 32 years. Things could be worse.
It’s been in my head all week. Went deep down the Kurt rabbit hole. I love him. He’s my friend. Lol
i had this on vinyl i played it constantly , until my not any longer person sold my record collection, rare edition white vinyl, i would play it to 2 year old son whos now 30 hye cut his chops on that collection, it served a purpose im happy its complete
That's why being a 13 yo in 1993 was so freakin awesome!!!
Nirvana was one of the best experiences i had as a teen.
were you there? :D
I think it's cool today to see kids wearing Nirvana shirts and share that same love for their music that I had back when it was all happening.
holy balls the bass at 2:16 just feels so...

the candles, the flowers, the red curtain..... what a lovely setting...
In my opinion this is a heavy contender for my favorite songs of all time. And this specific take more then the one on the record. Very melancholy and beautiful!
kurts such a beautiful and talented person crazy how much of an impact he made in such a short life wish I could’ve seen him alive in my lifetime
I’m on a plane right now
A plane or a plain? 😱
I'm at school.

Seeing dave gently hitting drums is disturbing. Guy barely holds himself from beating the shit out of them
Iv always thought that about this show🤣
😂
whatever they did and however they did it, it sounds good
I thought about that just know listening to where did you sleep last night😂
Lol
poetry, literature. a dash of meaningless-ness and sheer beauty in it's distortion perfection
I LOVE THE WAY DAVE PLAYS REALLYY CLOSE AND QUIET...YOU CAN REALLY FEEL IT EH? HES JUST BACKING IT UP RIDING ALONG. AND HOW MUCH KRIST LOVES BEING IN NIRVANA HAHA..PROPER BEATLES HA...LOVE EVERYTHIING ELSE TOO OBVS
That voice can make me feel so many emotions. ❤️ RIP Legend! You, Layne and Chris Cornell are deeply missed!
Kurt is a legend
Yeah, katos perkele, suomalaiset ei ollutkaa mennyttä, tääl viel ollaa veljet ja siskot!
R.I.P. Kurt you had an awesome voice and amazing rare unique guitar playing!!!
Thank god nirvana existed is all i can say
THE BEST UNPLUGGED
God that sound (2:00) I would love to hear something like this again.
its about flat earth
This song specifically on vinyl is one of the best things I’ve ever heard. Just how the record distorts ever so slightly when he sings love myself better then you is just something that you sadly can’t get through the internet and if you have the means to I strongly encourage you to buy this album on vinyl for this song alone
I miss 90s Rock and Bands so much wish I had a time machine I would go back and save Kurt, Scott ,Layne just to name a few legends your all truly missed!!R.I.P Legends !!Nirvana unplugged one of my all time favorites MTV performances !!🤘🔥🎸🎶😢🤗
One of my favorite songs by them and this unplugged perfomance i mean what can you say except .... we love you Kurt.
We will never forget you and your music.
He did not deserved to be killed he deserved to live.
Favorite Nirvana song ever and I've heard them all!
I came after reading today (06/22/20) about the millionaire sale of Kurt's guitar. I came to kill the nostalgia. I came to hear just one song and I'm listening to the whole concert for the 56th time in my life. The best MTV Unplugged, in my humble opinion, are Nirvana, followed by Pearl Jam. Back in those days, I was just another young man lost among so many doubts and with so few answers.
the cello player is totally underrated in this.
MTV was spectacular when I was a kid in the 90s. Just everything was perfect and great. Long live the 90s.
I'm on a plain, I can't complain 😊
I will never get tired of it
Kurt...rip...you changed my life...thank you
