Gotta feed the beast when you're physically addicted. He had the fame and money to have someone cop for him pretty much anywhere. Especially in NYC where this was filmed. Some record heads knew some mob guys with heroin routes to get him a score. When millions of dollars are on the line and the only thing between the money and you is a good shot of dope, that dope man is coming. Bet on that.

When I was 13 years old
    I had the album ''Incesticide''
before I had "Nevermind" and I'll never forget playing it in my Dad's Garage
on his Stereo, when the next door neighbor girl (who was 12)
    walked passed and yelled:
"That music sucks!" WHILE she was wearing a Nirvana Unplugged T-shirt.
I laughed at her and I'm almost positive Kurt would have laughed about that too.

He, after all these years of distance from this album due to becoming a hard rock/metalhead, is the one who shines the most, musically, it's ridiculously good as if he's toying with the notes he use to comp on this, on man who sold the world, etc, it was his night musically. Now Kurt, if u ask me, was doing sorcery on this, since You can't be that simple of a performer while sounding so legendary, as if he's toying too.

Bro what a thing to say to call Krist the best bass player ever (while also not even spelling his name correctly?). Even he wouldn't put himself on a top 50 list. Probably not even top 100. But the dude vibed with Kurt better than anyone, as else as just being an all-around good guy. On a technical level Krist was highly replaceable. But on a personal level he was core to Nirvana.

this has always been my favorite nirvana unplugged song. they really striped it down so you could hear the melodies & harmonies, yet you can still clearly hear the guitars & bass, especially krist's bass giving the song a nice pulse throughout. you've got Kurt's classic soft/quite/soft singing with his trademark howls. brilliant.

And what Curt meant, is we all are on a plain, not a spinning ball... the globe is a lie and he knew it. Nobody will believe me, but if Curt came right out and said it.... you would all believe him. Hence the lyrics "the black sheep got, blackmailed again" (him the black sheep, the entertainment industry doing the blackmail on all their influencers)... "as defense I'm neutered and spayed" (nothing he could do about it because:) "I love myself better than you, I know its wrong, so what should I do"... "it is now time to make it unclear, to write off lines that don't make sense". "One more special message to go" "I'm on a plain".

When I always look at Kurt and always always think that there are so many rock, metal musicians who had great albums, fame and a lot of them had vocals only to support image, but he did two things at the one time, but not only because of his talent, but because, how Hikigaya Hachiman words were said: "Fake people have an image to maintain. Real people just don’t care.”

I was also 13 in 93. Nirvana was one of my favorite bands for a couple years by then. It was crazy because I loved Nirvana back then, and didn't realize how amazing they actually were because they were just what I knew at that time. Nothing has come out since that compares and that just makes those years so much more special in hindsight. I think it's cool today to see kids wearing Nirvana shirts and share that same love for their music that I had back when it was all happening.
