    Hi Misa,
Firstly, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for all the amazing educational content you've been sharing. Your videos have been incredibly helpful, and I truly appreciate the effort you put into them.
I've noticed that things seem a bit challenging for you lately. It's great to hear that you're seeking support - taking that step is really important and commendable.
While I'm no expert, I've found that sometimes, alongside professional help, focusing on basic self-care can be beneficial. Just as in language learning, where mastering complex grammar is challenging without a solid foundation in the basics, similarly in life, addressing deeper challenges can be more effective when we've taken care of fundamental aspects of our well-being. Simple things like ensuring enough sleep (which helps with emotional regulation and cognitive function), eating a balanced diet (getting all the needed nutrients), staying active (great for stress relief, mood improvement, and very important for brain health), getting some sunlight (vital for vitamin D and circadian rhythm regulation), and keeping up social connections (essential for emotional support and a sense of belonging) are often overlooked, yet they can lay the groundwork for significant improvements.
Please know that this isn't meant to be a lecture or an assumption about your situation. These are just some principles I thought to share, which could potentially be helpful to anyone facing tough times, based on what I've learned and experienced.
Wishing you all the best and looking forward to your next video!

This has gotta be one of the most important grammar points for me. After this I feel like I can read 10x better and understand much more text than before just because of this simple sentence construct! I can't believe I haven't seen more tutorials on this within the 4 months I've been learning Japanese! みさ先生、ありがとうございま!これから、毎日、3時間に日本語勉強する。

Beautiful singing voice 😌 Thank you for another great video みさ先生🙏 You gave me the confidence to try learning the Japanese language. One of your older videos, you said “I want you to take out a pen and paper and practice this”.😂 I felt scolded by the teacher and did exactly that! I’m 4 months into my journey and feel stuck in “vocabulary land”, but I like to watch the “bigger picture” type videos too; particles, verbs, adjectives, sentence structure and such. I’m understanding much more clearly lately. Thank you so much for the hard work you do❤

Focusing on your lesson was a bit difficult this time, but NOT because of the way doing your lessons. It was because of your health problems wich i understand very well, because since the beginning of 2023 i have some health problems too, but it gets better. So i believe in you and wish you all the best! I´m glad that you exist and im very grateful for lessons they help me A LOT! 🙂

Just wanted to say how grateful I am for your content! I’ve been watching your videos on and off for about 3 years now. Embarrassingly, I’ve quit my journey on learning Japanese many times, but I finally had to chance to move to Japan about a month ago. It’s been a hard adjustment living here and not having a grasp on the language. But I wanted you to know that your videos have helped me SO MUCH at becoming more confident with myself and the language. I try to watch at least one video a day of yours and add as many new vocabulary as I can to my flashcards. From myself and all of us here in the comments, THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙂

Thank you so much for this video! I’d been wondering for the last week or so about how to form more complex sentences like this, and your explanation knocked it out of the park :)
I really like how you ensure that before an exercise ((e.g. “The person watching this video is smart.”)), you have given all the necessary vocabulary to the student so that they can really focus on and understand the grammar. ((Even if the student has terrible vocabulary, like me!))
It’s a really effective teaching strategy, and it leaves the student feeling really rewarded when they put the puzzle together :)
((I’ll be taking inspiration in my own teaching work :) ))
I really see this helping me as I listen and read more Japanese. Thank you, Misa :)
    Take good care of yourself!

I relate on the weight gain struggles! I've struggled with this all my life, but luckily I have made good progress recently. I've gone from 95 pounds to 110 pounds in 3 months. I already feel so much better, my goal weight by the end of this year is 150.
My brother is also trying to gain weight, he has superior mesenteric artery (SMA) syndrome, which is a really painful and dangerous disorder people can get from being underweight. Only way to cure it is through weight gain. But people with SMA struggle to keep food down because an artery is compressing the duodenum from a lack of fat, making it difficult for food to pass through.
He has already gained 10 pounds in a month, which is huge progress. If someone with SMA can do this, anyone can!
Anyway, thank you for the amazing video as always Misa sensei. I clicked on it the moment it popped up in my notifs ❤

I am new to your channel, but so far I just love your way of talking and explaining. Just started my own cursus in Japanese, but have a difficult time understanding how to correctly build up a sentence.
For instance: Sometimes the Names or subject comes before the "So ko, So no, Ko re ra," etc. And sometimes you start with the demonstratives.
but I love the language and I will regularly visit here for tips and pointers.

Sensei, Gurren Laggan was the first anime series I saw outside of Pokémon. I saw it way before I made the decision to learn Japanese. Seeing you break down such iconic moments made me a little emotional. Kamina's voice actor, Konishi Katsuyuki, is in the cast for the 「夜桜さんちの大作戦」/Mission: Yozakura Family anime airing this April. I get to hear him in action again.
Also, happy new year! 2023 was the year I went to Japan with my family, and I got the chance to put everything I learned to use. And that's thanks to your teachings. I'm hoping for a round 2 with more knowledge.

Wow, I have been a big fan of yours since 2020, Misa. Last year I stopped watching your videos ‘cause of studying in college. And this is the first day I visit your channel again. I am very amazed of how younger and more beautiful you have become. ❤😍

Hi Misa. I really hope in the followup(s) you can discuss when が gets switched to の in relative clauses. Its been one thing ive really had a hard time finding good resources to fully grasp and know when to do myself. Also chaining together adjectives of different types and verbs in one relative clause 😅

Thank you so much for your amazing videos, they are so easy to understand and explain everything so well! Could you please do a video on the dofference between きぶん、きもち and かんじ? It would be helpful for you so make a video if you havent yet because i find it hard to understand the difference!
