misa is by far the best teacher on yt. the time and care she takes to explain every detail on a sentence and its variations is so good even if she explained it before on another vid she goes and explain it again. it helps me a lot to fixate the rules. it amazes me. i love her

It helps to remember that な and だ are actually different manifestations of the same idea, and that い adjectives are actually a kind of pseudo-verb on their own, which is why they get conjugated like verbs.Keeping that in mind helps a lot with alleviating confusion about how な works.
I don't know what just happened... But realizing the きみのは does mean your name was a mind blowing revelation to me. Since in the video you (briefly) told us what きみ was (you) きみ+の Would be your. And anime taught me that は can be used when asking for someone's name.
Your videos are so helpful for helping me make sense of the grammar points I study. The various examples and highlighting are incredible, and the way you speak slowly and clearly allows me to follow along without having to pause, and I fell I can speak it naturally afterwards.

in my head i never realized that kara(from) and kara(because) were two different use cases at all because I would always interperet it as, in this example, I'm hungry from going to the gym; since from can also function as a substitute for because in english. but subconciously, I still get the correct meaning of a sentence containing kara regardless if it is acting as from or because.
At 1st I thought your videos were not good but I have learned a tremendous amount of the language and owe you a tremendous amount of gratitude, thank you.
For people who speak English or Chinese, I found one way to help me remember the correct order, i.e. reason before the result. You simply think of からorので as “ therefore /所以”. So, “アニメが大好きだから、日本語を勉強してる” is “I love anime therefore I study Japanese.”/“我非常喜歡動漫，所以我學習日語。”

I have always thought of the English equivalent of から as "therefore". It is a conjunction with the exact same meaning, but with different usage as "because", but it can be placed in front of the cause like から. I went to the gym, therefore, I'm tired.

33:21 Just wanted to quickly correct your English. We'd never say "everyone couldn't", we'd say "no-one could". I can't think of a situation where it would be correct to use everyone with a negative. Everyone couldn't/shouldn't/won't always should be instead phrased as no-one could/should/will. Logically they're the same thing but, again, the everyone + negative version is never used by a native English speaker (unless they're drunk maybe?). Thanks so much for these lessons. I really appreciate the extra length of these episodes, so that you can go into detail and add context to the topic you're covering. Keep it up!
Now I know why Dekomori from Chunnibyou demo koi anime always ends her sentence with です or からです. Cz she wants to be sounded formal all the time (but fail at it) while stating the fact like its obvious.
