Excellent tutorial as always Susan!! When I had cable I was a faithful jewel school watcher for about 5 years in fact that’s how I got into jewelry making! I used to love watching u on js!! Keep up the amazing tutorials please! Much love from Florida!!
Can’t wait to make some of these rings for gifts and of course for myself. Thank you for such being such a great teacher,,you always make your tutorials so easy to follow.
Yes! You can make jump rings, ear wires, head pins and more! Here is a tutorial you might like. Pro Tips: Recycling Wire: ruclips.net/video/SKxNKsjM6RA/видео.html
The size difference isn't going to be huge, but yes, it you think it may look too crowed, just use a few less. You can always take away and add to make the design exactly the way you want it!
Very cool. Thinking of all the ways to adapt this. Would probably start with some hematite wire and the 3mm tourmanilated black and white quartz I just bought from Dakota stones!
Not at this time, but a great suggestion for a future tutorial. Check out this cha cha bracelet tutorial. You can easily make this into a pair of earrings by shortening the length and adding an ear wire to the chain at the top. You can use the same style of bead from the ring tutorial. Great ring & tutorial! And, BTW, I agree with Mz. Jazz - love that gold bracelet also! So, did u make it or find a great bracelet that maybe we can get one too! Also, I didn’t see a place where you got the small gemstones - do you mind sharing? Thank you very much!!
i’m very new to making rings, so apologies in advance if this is an awful question, but: what if i would rather that the ‘charms’ are more wiggly and dangly and free-floating as opposed to fluffy? do you not wrap it as tightly? also, can i make three loops on the top of the ring, as opposed to the one if i have a ton of charms that i want to add? again, sorry if these questions are really dumb; i’m not sure what to do. thanks, this channel is great for newbies! 💎💫💎
Hi Valley! We believe that there are no dumb questions! In fact they help us to make better jewelry tutorials. In regards to your question, this particular video isn't really catered to looser, dangling charms, but probably can be modified. However, Katy just did a new video on this exact thing! In the tutorial, she only adds three charms, but you can certainly add more my making your first initial loop a bit larger. You aren't limited to charms either. You can also use holed beads, like Susan uses in the cha cha video. Here is a link and good luck! Luck of the Irish Charm Ring: ruclips.net/video/3W9cc0AoI5o/видео.html
We have three one-step loopers and you can choose your fave! Here's the 1.5mm one I used -- www.jtv.com/product/vintaj-basic-1-step-looper-trims-and-loops-head-pins-and-eye-pins-in-1-easy-step/JST578?rrec=true?mcid=XSOjsyt
Round nose or step bail pliers and do a basic loop. If using round nose pliers, mark the size of loop on the noses, so you wrap consistently sized loops.
Finally got to watch this tutorial. Thank you, Susan.

@@JewelSchool Great! Thank you so much! :-)
l love how you make it so simple yet so pretty ring. Thank you for sharing
One more question...If using 4mm beads instead of 3mm... would it be best to use less beads for the ring?
The size difference isn't going to be huge, but yes, it you think it may look too crowed, just use a few less. You can always take away and add to make the design exactly the way you want it!
@@JewelSchool Great! TY! Had some 4 mm beads on hand. ;-)
I made this..a little fluffier but it is amazing..Thank you.
Very cool. Thinking of all the ways to adapt this. Would probably start with some hematite wire and the 3mm tourmanilated black and white quartz I just bought from Dakota stones!
Thank you. Love this tutorial
So cutie....I want to use small garnets. ThanksI
Go for it! Garnet comes in so many beautiful colors and varieties, plus it's durable which is great for use in jewelry. Let us know how it turns out!
Love it very pretty thank you
Beautiful
Would love a tutorial using the 'horse eye' rhinestones...that have 2 holes in them...going the entire circumference of the ring. 🙂
I love your videos.... also I like your gold bracelet... did you make that and if so do you have a video?
Beautiful! ❤️
I like this ring.
Is there a tutorial for matching earrings?
Not at this time, but a great suggestion for a future tutorial. Check out this cha cha bracelet tutorial. You can easily make this into a pair of earrings by shortening the length and adding an ear wire to the chain at the top. You can use the same style of bead from the ring tutorial.

👍👍👍💕💕 Excelente
Looks fun, but I had difficulty seen how you made the loops.
BEAUTIFUL❣
This is so cute! Thank you for sharing! 💜
Could you please do a ring making tutorial that includes how to set a stone ?! 🙂🙃
Gorgeous!! :)

Superb👌
How many beads do you suggest adding?
Hi! Use as many or as little as you want until you achieve the look you want. For the purposes of this tutorial, Susan uses apx 10-12 beads.
Nice ring!
What about a trinity ring?
Great suggestion!
Another idea. A rhinestone button w/ shank turned into a ring. 🙂
Awesome...
Is there any way to keep the wire from slipping around the mandrel?
If pulled tight enough, the wire will not slip. The half-hard wire 20ga she used can take it.
What size loops does that loop tool make?
We have three one-step loopers and you can choose your fave! Here's the 1.5mm one I used -- www.jtv.com/product/vintaj-basic-1-step-looper-trims-and-loops-head-pins-and-eye-pins-in-1-easy-step/JST578?rrec=true?mcid=XSOjsyt
What do you do if you dont have wire looper
Round nose or step bail pliers and do a basic loop. If using round nose pliers, mark the size of loop on the noses, so you wrap consistently sized loops.
You could use birthstones and make a cute mother’s ring!
Great idea..I made one with very tiny bells.
nice
Please get closeups that gets right on top of the work.
What happened to Sherry?
Hi! Sherri retired and is living the good life at home with her family. I'm sure she's still watching and we sure do miss her!!
👯♂️🥰🥰
I make them and I call mine a bunch of balloons.
Very hard to see what you are doing.
