I'm watching your video from 4 years ago but it is new video for me. I'm a newbie into bead makimg and this is a great way to help me with. Thank you 😊😊😊
Thankyou for adding another closer camera angle
Susan, you are the best at teaching us! Thanks for all the tools, tips and tricks.
Love your videos!!!! She explains a lot of things when it comes to working wire. Thank you sooo much!!!!!
Yes she does. She’s one of my favorites but trust me. She definitely makes it look easier than it is for me. But I love it.
Great job
Thanks
Ms Susan love ❤️🙏🙏🙏
Thank you ❤️
You always make everything look so easy! Thank you!
Angie Kelley yes
What a great for measuring the toggle bar!
Omg, that explains what I've been doing wrong when I try to make toggle clasps!! Thanks so much!
Kaitlin Wright yes
Thank you for your good and helpful video 🙏❤️

edith kurashige yes
good job
You always do a great job with explaining. I suggest that you explain how to open and close the S clasps if ever you revisit this idea.
Great suggestion!
Great video, learning a lot. What’s a bench block? Also, where can you get those last two pliers?
Great job Susan, I have some practicing to do:-)
You got this!
I've also used stainless steel wire from Beadalon.
Thanks for the great video. You mentioned you prefer silver wire vs. the artistic wire in your video. I see many types of wire online but what should I look for to ensure it is silver? I like the heavier gauges so if you could provide a link to where I can purchase that, I'd appreciate it.
I am not here to do something DIY to make it special. I gave up trying to find commercial lobster clasps that are not plated garbage mystery metal.
That you for the guides! I know that these will not lose plating and tarnish.
Nice keep doing
I like the tray you are using were did you get it. Great instructions. Thanks.
Can you tell me where to get that wire swirled in one of your videos?
What keeps the small loop of the toggle clasp from pulling open? I am learning to solder. Should that small loop be soldered?
How do you attach the s and j hooks to the end of your project
💙
DO you sell the wire rounder? I cant find it on the site.
Where do I get that wire rounder?
Thank you for the tutorial. I would love to purchase your marked round nose pliars but the link to the products page is not working :(
Oh no! Sorry about that. These are called "acculoop pliers" and we are sold out of them at the moment. A quick internet search should get you to some on a few other jewelry making sales sites!
👍😀
I love your videos but the music is a bit distracting.
Hi there! I would love to order some basic tools for simple jewellery making. You mentioned a few different kinds of plyers here. I would love to buy some. I couldn't find the link to buy them. Thanks
Hi! Hopefully these links will work for you!
This is a Basic, set of 4 pliers. Chain Nose, Flat Nose, Round Nose, and Cutter: www.jtv.com/product/blue-glitter-pliers-set-of-4-in-tie-pouch/JST851?mcid=XSOjsyt
This is Susan's favorite flush cutter: www.jtv.com/product/designer-flush-cutter/PLIER61?mcid=XSOjsyt

The only plier we don't have in stock right now is the wrap-n-tap plier, but a quick internet search should get you to one!
Where do you get a wire rounder tool?
Here you go!
Bead Reamer And Wire Rounder Attachments Kit incl Bead Reamer And Assortment Of Burs: www.jtv.com/product/bead-reamer-and-wire-rounder-attachments-kit-incl-bead-reamer-and-assortment-of-burs/JSKIT0559?mcid=XSOjsyt
I cannot find the wire rounder you show as i desperately want that tool? where can i get it
It's made my Beadalon. 😃 You can get one from their site.
I LOVE your videos, But- I can't see what you're doing a great deal of the time. The background is too light and it's too tiny. I'm an old lady so is it just me? It appears no
one else has this problem or are people just not saying anything?
Again, the videos are still very informative and enjoyable. Thanks!
What is the tool that you use in 8:08?
I love your videos!!
Hi Ximena! This tool is called a "wire rounder." It's used to file the ends of your wire. We don't' currently have one in stock at JTV, but a quick internet search might get you what you need. Also, you can use a triangle needle file. It takes a little longer, but does the same thing! Here is a link: www.jtv.com/product/triangle-needle-file/JST770?mcid=XSOjsyt
Good luck and thanks for watching!
What is the name of the tool that you are using to create the S hook.
Hi Miguelina! The tool I used for making the s hook is called the AccuLoop plier. Here is a link to supplies for this project: www.jtv.com/product/jewelry-making-101-how-to-make-your-own-clasps-supply-and-project-kit-in-gold-tone/JSYT72B?mcid=XSOjsyt
I'm surprised you created a toggle without wrapped loops. I've watched too many customers tug and pull clasps on bracelets; they'd surely pull that loop open and then bring it in for repair.
Lisa Mack yes
👍💯♥️
I'm surprised you didn't show HOW that "toggle" clasp works. Are we suppose to bend it to put it thru the loop? Only thing missing. Otherwise, good instructions.
Hi Ma Wi! Exactly how you described. Just feed the bar through the loop and then angle it down so the other side will fit through as well! Thanks for the suggestion. We may include this in a future video tutorial!
where do you find the acculoop plier. great video
Copy and paste this item number below to the ebay search bar,.. these are the cheapest ones you can get anywhere at 17.20 with fast and free shipping. I got mine and they are great Item # 222781310352

You can find these at the link in the video's description!
how do i order a round nose
i need a wire rounder
Hi Rosie! Here is a link to a round nose plier: www.jtv.com/product/round-nose-pliers-for-wire-wrapping/PLIER136?mcid=XSOjsyt
We are all out of our wire rounders, but a quick internet search for "Beadalon wire rounder" should get you to a link for one!
Do they contain toxic metals? I want to make jewelry without any toxicity in them because a lot of cheap jewelry are made like that.
As far as we know, none of the jewelry wire we use is considered toxic. We would not be able to use it to make jewelry or sell it. The FTC is a great watch dog for the jewelry industry and works hard to prevent this kind of thing. Now, that's not to say that someone's skin won't have a reaction to it. Unfortunately, there are people with metal allergies. If you have a worry in that regard, it's best to stick to those pure metals like .925 sterling or Karat gold, which can get quite expensive. The wire used here is called Parawire. It is a wire that has a base metal, usually copper and it has a non-tarnish color coating in either a golden, silver or rose color. The best thing you can do is to research jewelry wire and pick the one that is right for you! Hope this helps!
Hola muchas gracias Ud habla muy rápido por favor hágalo más lento
Audio is very good. However there's no video. It keeps cycling
It would be so much easier to see the things you make with a black background
