Same thing happened to my Mitsubishi Montero sport 01 Got the new parts upper and lower and did the alignment, plus adjusted the free play Nut to max ,but still the Car cant keep straight in lane ,I have to keep tapping to the left to the right the PS Wheel to centered, do you think the gearbox is shot? Are there any tourqe specs? Did I miss them? What is the tourqe specs on the steering box to through the frame? Pittman arm to steering box? Pitman arm to tie rod? Steering shaft u-joint to gear box? Does anything have tourqe specs, or did you just snug everything down?

You did not use box wrenches on the puller. You can get 2 box wrenches on and cheat with pipe wrench .
