Great series as always mate. Spooky, I had the same problems loosing the exact same bolts this year in Greece on my way to Turkey. Luckily it happened near Athens so I was able to pop into a KTM service centre. Time I had done Turkey and was entering Bulgaria they were coming loose again. There are now all loctited in so hopefully won’t have that problem again. Safe travels!

Thanks Mario. Have you watched the video of the two guys that did the dalton highway in March 23 with -30° temps? Pretty interesting.

Between work and riding (as well as making these videos) I don't have much time to do much watching.

This has been entertaining series to watch, sorry to see that it's close to the end. Will there be a debrief video reviewing how the bikes/gear handled the trip? Well, we know how the fork seals handled it. I've also had to replace those bolts on my 2017, and I haven't come close to riding a road as rough as the Dalton. Must be a design flaw of some type.

Much appreciated. The debrief videos were posted a few months ago. Here’s one of them ruclips.net/video/EKEwSFZ0xpg/видео.htmlsi=UN4IpcLaGRe3XEj4

Motel 6? Quite a step down from Marriott, no? But really, it's warm and dry, what else do you need? On my one cross-country trip many years ago (1975), way before credit cards, no cash to spare for a motel, I spent a night crashed on the floor in a corner of a rest room in a rest area in Texas because it was warm and dry. Might not have thought of it but for the folks I'd seen doing the same in NM on the way to CA.

What is your opinion of the KTM issues? I am gutted. My first bike in 30 years is a KTM 890 Adventure R (2023) and I love it. Not a single problem AND my dealer is VERY good - top KTM dealer (road bikes) in the US.
Also concerning the camshaft issue - they have replaced only 13 out of 840 camshafts on the 790/890s they have sold.
That is only a 1.54% failure rate, but to hear the internet run their mouths EVERY 790/890 in the world is having catastrophic failure.
Any way, super troll attracting comment/question, especially from trolls who don't even own a KTM and who hope that thousands of people lose their jobs (sickos).
Your maintenance/upgrade videos are the best on YT for sure and I want to know your opinion.
BTW I NEVER get notified of any replies to comments. YT is crap.
