EX-cellent! I'm a big fan of Motion and Final Cut Pro X. I even have a couple of Motion tutorials on my YT channel. I always like to watch and learn from others and just when you think you know everything, you learn something new despite yourself. I was unaware that you could reverse a clone layer. That tip alone is worth its weight in gold. Thank you.
@@TheApang18 Sorry, I was asking about what you mean by "Save?" Save how? I'm missing a lot of context and details here. So you placed an Apple Motion-created explosion effect in a Final Cut project... now what are you trying to do? Final Cut projects save automatically. Are you trying to export? Just export as normal.
@@macmost I was just asking you a question about how do I save a project template from Motion Apple to Final Cut Pro after I created my own exploding transition for myself?
When the image explodes and reverses back to a whole. Is it possible to have the image return into a different a image from particle explosion. Basically exploding as one image and coming back as a different one?
@@forgottenstreets OK, but slow playback when reviewing in FCP, or slow playback when you export the project. You can't expect real-time rendering when previewing motion graphics. It is the final export that matters. But if you like, you can just reduce the number of elements in the explosion to make it faster while editing.
Cannot figure out why my particles aren’t as defined as yours. Followed you exactly step by step. I’m running a 2019 IMac Pro. But it’s am missing something and cannot figure it out? Your particles at the very end appear like dust settling in the sun light. Very fine. Mine are still kinda rounded. Even after export.

Very clearly explained. thank you.
This was very useful, thank you!
Just got hold of the Apple pro apps. Looking forward to trying this out.
Great tutorial, thank you.
Very good video subscribed to your excellent channel 👍
Excellent video--very nice effect -- actually two effects, and VERY clearly explained. Hope you conjure up the time to do more Apple Motion projects.
great
Thank you for apple motion tutorials
Do you know how to save a exploding logo effect to Final Cut Pro?
Not sure what you are asking here. Save?
Yes that’s what I meant.

@@TheApang18 Ah, so save from Motion. To do that use the Share menu as I do at the end of the video.

Yes. You'd just have to create a second animation that cuts in at that point and has particles that "implode" to the second image.
nice logo
how to make it so the object explodes but doesent spread out completely. kinda just explodes in place and disolves quickly.
Keep playing with it. There are a lot of things you can adjust. It just takes time to learn.
@@macmost ok. i have another question. for some reason when the explosion starts my timeline slows down like a lag. do you know why that could happen?
@@forgottenstreets Inside Motion? Probably because there is a lot to process. Does it look OK when you export it though?
@@macmost so when i send my motion projects to final cut pro its still slow. Slow playback. New laptop, a lot of memory and storage

What sort of logo file did you start with? Does it need a transparent background?
I believe it was a transparent PNG, yes.

Not sure. Just check and recheck your settings.
