Now I'm one that would have made this needlessly complicated with keyframes and ended up tearing my hair out in frustration when nothing went right, behaviors really does simplify things so this will be an ideal tutorial for me. Once again Ripple delivers the goods.
This is awesome. I actually bought the tutorial before watching this video. Would have saved hours of extra work in the last few weeks if I had this before. Great work!
This tutorial has answered so many of my questions except Why after the mask is applied, does the tip of my dart disappear when following the motion path? Thanks Mark!
Wow, super useful information! I've been trying to decide whether to get Motion or not and seeing how much you were able to do with it has tipped the scales!
You would love to do particle simulations, is motion right for that or shall I use Blender/Cinema4D? I love Final cut, I think about buying mtracker 3D and mO2 from motionvfx and then import the 3D models I made in Blender/c4d to integrate into my realfootage. What would you do?
I can't seem to figure out why I have this problem. When hitting "O", it shortens the duration of the entire project, not just that behavior. Alternatively, when adjusting the duration of the behavior using the timecode, it jumps to that spot in the entire projects, and changes nothing for the behavior. Does anyone have any idea why?
Nice to see that with all the add-ons, Ripple Training still does normal Motion5 tuts.

Behaviors are fantastic AND they don't always do the trick but it's easy to COMBINE them with keyframes for the most flexibility.

Mark, you sure know your Motion for sure! Thanks for the tutorial(s)
Great to see you are still supporting Apple Motion, thanks guys and hope you are all well. Thanks for the demo
Oh, we will always support Apple Motion!!
I definitely enjoyed that Mark. You're the Motion expert for sure sir. Thank you for all the lessons. (:
