I had the Potensic SE and I believe this is the same drone plus the gimbal. After trying professional level and the most expensive mini drones... I appreciated what a Beast Potensic was. So fast, so strong and so durable! I believe that at this price point, no one can compete. If you don't use the drone for professional shooting, this must be the perfect drone.
I have a way to fix the atom se and it's better on the horizon than the new one the Gimbel is not the problem the new drone ain't worth the upgrade note how the drone is not flying straight there the same problem and the 3 axle Gimbel was not the right fix . The only thing that's better is the 20 degree you can look up and the sd card that comes with it In my opinion it's not worth it they fixed nothing
once that tilt is fixed this drone will be awesome. AND no geofencing. I like dji but they have too much hold over all other companies. its nice to see another option

@@edrone_ 2000 not bad, there is another guy that was able to get 6000 feet. that is fine with me. DJI you can get more but I would have to get out of the city maybe the everglades or when I go to Colombia, over there there are not as many restrictions. I will order and try it out. Thanks!
Some of the smoothest quick shots I've seen from a drone of this price and size. It does them much better than the DJI mini 1 and 2 plus this potensic has tracking that is so fantastic
I just got my potensic 3 axis .....a am looking at my videos made with the drone but I can see that is like kind of " readjustment " of the image of colours or something weird is happening.....your videos is super nice......
mines just come it wasn't due till Thursday first look at it it looks tidy and love what I got with it and the 3 axis gimbal has to be one of my favourite but no matter how much it tilts into wind ill get a great picture it's a amazing piece of equipment for the price am well impressed what I got I just can't wait to fly it it's done nothing but rain today and winds really strong so am praying for better weather tomorrow

Get a lot of horizon tilt even when stationary. Looks like it will be a pretty good little drone once they get the gimbal figured out. As long as it remains cheaper than the DJI minis it should do well.
Id like to say the problem with atom se is not the Gimbel it the drone it don't fly straight you take it in any conditions and take off and you will see it is flying straight. I trimmed my propeller on the side that was up it took 3 attempts I got it to fly straight andd now my horizon is straighter then the 3 axle new drone .
I like this but that beeping on RTH is a negative! Perhaps one could cut off the sound on the display! Maybe they could change the beeping to a option, or with a blinking on the display!
Hello how does it record at night and photos at night? I have the fimi x8 mini v2 and it records very bad at night and photos too, I had the mini 2 and it takes excellent videos and photos at night
I watched another video regarding this drone and first flight did the same with the horizon view tilted. It straightened and stabilized way better after testing it through all three modes. Seems it had to work itself loose. Also another reason I'm buying this Potensic rather than the dji mini 2, is that this one has another feature that the mini 2 doesnt have. Most reviews of the SE and the 3 axis have missed in thier reviews is the waypoints feature.
Wow I didn't realize no waypoints for the mini 2. That is a deal breaker for me. I have an older Mavic Pro and even its waypoints are not really waypoints. You have to fly to each point to set it! It is more like recalling where you just flew than waypoints. This Atom has much better waypoints that allow you to set them on the map. I bought the Atom without knowing that about the Mini 2. I got my Atom yesterday afternoon and now it's raining today. I got to fly it once at almost dark. Much more power than I thought it would have being as quiet as it is. I could still see fine in the low light despite the low light warnings. I landed and It started updating so that was the only flight I got in. It is 240 grams with battery installed.
@paulking7019 That's great to hear, you seem to be happy with it so far. I have the Air3 and those waypoints are awesome and you can set and manipulate them to do anything one wants. I've ordered the atom as I need a smaller drone to fly in small spaces and through gaps. I think it'll do just as well as the mini 2. Also a lot cheaper than the 3 pro and 4 pro. Have fun flying...
It has active-track which is optical. The fact they removed follow-me, which is GPS, instead of improving the feature is the reason why for me this Atom is useless.

I have a dji mini 2 and it has some of the best video and photo quality i have seen. But it's being repaired now so I have to see what all the fuss is about. Mine is otw now
So this does not have obstacle avoidance like the Mini 4 Pro. The camera quality on the Mini 4 Pro is better however the Potensic is more affordable. Similar size as the Mini 4 Pro.

No. We don't want Potensic to add a screen because you don't like your phone held up. Don't fly if you are expecting an important conversation. Them making a screen in place of the cell phone will cause this to no longer be budget. The price will go from $300 to $3000. No thanks. I find a second phone would be a cheaper option which I already had anyway and the design for a cell phone was well done. If it aint broke, don't fix it. The point is that there are a lot of us that can't afford extreme drones with extreme prices so making suggestions to increase the price of a great product is uncool. Potensic you have done a fine job with this drone. I have the SE model and if it had been priced any higher I would not even have it. Well done on everything. This is not my first drone. I choose this over my others any day. I see nothing wrong with it for the price. Don't let reviewers cause you to have to increase the price. Having obstacle avoidance would be nice but if I felt I really needed that, I would be willing to pay a higher price but I can't afford it at this time and I am sure I am not the only one. Let's not make this a rich mans hobby only.
@TEXAS-SMITH I disagree that adding a screen in the controller would cause the price to go to 3 grand. You can get a DJI Mini 3 with a screen built in the controller for around $400 - $500. Adding a screen in the controller would be cheaper than your thinking. I'm not saying to not have a no screen controller option. I'm simply asking Potensic for a additional option moving forward. There will always be the need for lower cost options.
The before you fly app says here in queens NY the limit altitude is 50feet in almost all queens even the flushing Park which is really pissing me off ...just a rant of what the FAA is doing here in New York
Just took mine out on its first flight , got it all set up and ready to fly ….. the motors wouldn’t work , it sat there and started billowing smoke from the body ….. absolutely devastating I have to wait 3 weeks for a replacement, the camera quality while it was connected to my phone was absolutely amazing , and I was really looking forward to flying it , but for now I have to return it 😢
So sorry to hear that 😞 Potensic will make it right. They are a decent company from my dealings. Wonder why 3 weeks for replacement though that seems a bit long?

I'll have to check those out. This is the fly more combo so it's a little higher than the standard package. Also check out the Potensic Atom SE. It does not have the 3 axis gimbal and has been discounted heavily since the release of the newer 3 axis gimbal one.
Obviously shot for profit. No worthwhile information. First flight... just an improvised "unboxing". Even tries to turn prop screws CCW to tighten them. Sticks jerked to full with every move. Almost stops the motors and crashes it (wrong button combo).

Hundreds if not thousands of youtube folk get sent free products. It's a mystery to me how it all works to be honest . However, How do you shoot a video to get a free drone when you need to drone prior to shooting the video? Surely that would mean that either a) you don't need to try to 'get' a free drone because you already 'have' it, or b) you're using a borrowed drone to do the video, in which case if you wanted to get a 'free' one sent to you, you would need to big up the drone so the company favours your review. But - you don't know if it's good or bad prior to reviewing it, so if the drone is not great why would then want a free one anyway? And if the drone turned out to be good, hence you wanted a free one then the review would then be truthful anyway, so the end intention of the review is valid. The original comment doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks! I was able to get around 2000 feet away before signal got sketchy. You could install some wifi boosters to increase range also.

Check out the DJI Mini 4k. It is around $299 and has all the features that this one has. I'm not sure if the tilt issue has been addressed yet.

I reported the gimbal issues with my contact and they are working on a firmware update to address.
I think it's updated now. Other video reviews have no tilt at all, even with forced manual tilting the gimbal coped really well.

Good question. Occusync 2.0 would give better range and penetration more than likely however the range is decent on this one though from my findings.

There are cables provided for any phone. Just plug your phone into the correct cable and the other end plugs into the controller.
