- One of the best songs of our group heard through their wonderful 30 years of career.
Una delle migliori canzoni del nostro gruppo ascoltata attraverso i loro 30 anni di meravigliosa carriera.
I always preferred the slower version of this song from the 90's
Same same, don’t know why they sped it up.
2007 is ridiculos lol. when they brought matt cameron on board everything went to shit. they plow through this somg now like the fat kid at desert bar. the video version is the best.
@@bungendores_finest When the setlists got longer they had to speed up everything to fit in so many songs. Given to fly is another example.
I think it not only was saving time to speed it up but Eddie’s voice is much weaker now so it stops a lack luster performance of the song
@@nickt8564 I don’t think it’s weak. He’s just bored of playing and being the same every time. Cuz the who rock n roll hall of fame induction performance shows he’s still got it.
Dave Abbruzzese was from another planet. Gorgeous drumming.
Just a little bit too Heavy don’t you think?
@@riccardoferrantelli7783 yes he was a heavy hitter for sure, but I think it fits the others' young energy. The thing is that he had a unique groove, that shows in the Unplugged in particular.
@@riccardoferrantelli7783HAH
The song has lost the original swing post-2000.
it seems they just want to finish the song
His voice totally changed
Culpa do Matt Cameron 😄
Not a fan of the speed they play it now, but they still rock the song, so I can't complain. Love every year.
absolutely, why aren't they playing the same speed as the original one?
makes sense for a long ass song like even flow
@@parasetamol8203 I mean, Mike solos for so long, it’s longer than either of the studio versions now, lmao. I doubt time is really a factor.
@@featheryfemme anyone would get bored playing a long song, on a slow tempo, on repeat for 20 years
@@parasetamol8203 yeah, but I mean, for one the song is not that long, two, if they’re bored of it, they can just take it out of the set, three, if they _were_ bored of it, I doubt they’d choose to make it longer, and four, no, not anyone would. You know how many bands still have the time of their lives playing longer songs? Regardless of whether Pearl Jam is or not, that’s not exactly typical of most musicians.
Without a doubt, Pearl Jam are like wines: "The more years go by, the better they get".
Mike McCready is the fucking master. Who doesn't love Mike McCready doesn't love his mother.
You forgot the guy who actually played the drums on the record and he played it the best, his name was Dave Krusen
Lyrics may be more relevant now than ever.
So very true!
The best ones is when Dave Abbruzzese is behind the kit, awesome rhythm & timing. While the other drummers plays it too fast.
Confermo, adoro Matt, ma, corre, corre troppo :D come se lo inseguissero tanti lupi feroci! :D
@@alessandrogaripoli7371excellent!
The version from the '90-ies is the best in my opinion
Like a bunch of others here, I like the song at the slower tempo. Way more vibey.
Yes, it grooves and has more of a pocket at the slower tempo for sure.
Was in its prime when Dave was drumming, went a little down after that, till they sped the song up to drastic speeds.
Disliking this is like not liking fluffy kittens. Shame on you 2. Pj for life 💯💯🔥
90s was the best
'92 thank you
I still think it is played way too fast nowadays. It's like everyone is trying to keep up with the tempo. Much preferred it when it had an almost funk like groove.
Hey eccoti! ti ho sentito su Virgin Radio stamattina e sono venuta a curiosare 😉Gran bel video!
Les solos de Mc Cready sont toujours incroyable sur scènes !!!! Genius!
1992 had the best performances of the song I don't like it when it's fast it loses the cool groove
Right, was thinking the same thing, when it goes to fast it looses all the groove.
Couldn’t agree more, I miss pj having a funk drummer. Cameron is a fine drummer but the wrong fit imo.
Ed can barely get all the lyrics in on the mid 2000’s versions. Maybe it will slow down again and become a ballad like porch….
I’m not saying that would be good but you never know.
I still get goosebumps watching them play Jeremy at the music awards. That was magical.
Maravilhosos, muito boa sua montagem parabéns, adoro essa música...PJ e EV ❤🤘
All of them!! Amazing 😊💓🤘✌️
En 1991 yo tenía 5 años y esta banda estaba de moda, yo me vine a enamorar de ellos en el año 2000 cuando tenia 15 🖤🖤 cuando lo bueno es bueno dura para siempre
Can we talk about how much better Mike's guitar got after he put that wedding ring on? Seriously, it's night and day.
god they must be so sick of playing this haha. great video
I cant imagine playing the same songs for decades. Definitely would have to remind oneself how much you're paid to do it
@@lastnamefirst4035 they must just play it subconsciously. they would’ve done it that many times they have to be at a point where they dont even have to think about it
When you compare it to something like landscaping, laying concrete, drywalling, etc it actually seems quite nice.
So glad to have been there in 2010. What a show and what a crowd! Hyde park rocked!
As much as I really LOVE Matt C's drumming, when he plays in PJ, he plays like a session drummer, Soundgarden was his home.
I've read where one of the things Eddie didn't like about Dave Abbruzzese was his playing. I wouldn't be surprised if when they brought Matt on, he was told to keep it more straightforward. In PJ, he doesn't sound like the same drummer as in Soundgarden or Temple of the Dog.
@@paulthephysicaltherapist7275 that's sad to read, cuz Abbruzzese bought such an energy to PJ! but Matt is an awesome drummer either way!
Amo PJ. Eddie arrasa sempre.
The best solo ever
As the time goes by, the band tried to make the shows more enjoyable and fun. Even Flow and old songs are faster now to make the crowd jump and have fun with the band. The 90's rage is not the center of their music anymore. As their listeners grew up, the band changed the musical approach. The newer music focused in mature themes gets the attention as the slower part of the set list, as we can see in Gigaton/LB lyric themes.
One of my favourite PJ songs. Have to agree with many others here - it loses that special something with the much faster tempo.
hey thanks a million for posting this!!! Brilliant BEST BAND EVER love seeing imagery of their career trajectory and how is that CREADY solo...... JOY joy JOY .....happy happY HAppY. PLUS I saw your Eddie pic and smacked **Subscribe**
1991-1994…awesome. 1995 Auckland Mt Smart Stadium. Amazing .. that’s it .. after Vitalogy and that tour. The best was over
AMAZING VIDEO EDITING!!!!! WOW This was a fun ride!!!! Thanks
If there there was an RUclips awards This would win best video editing!!!TIMING IS PERFECT!!!!
Ehi!!!!!! I read it only Now… thank you very very much my friend!!!! Tnx really!!!!
1993 Stone Gossard at 0:42 dancing is just....cute
My favorite Band ❤️❤️🥰
I feel bad they left out Dave Abbruzzesse the Drummer on their first 3 LP's when they were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
2nd & 3rd, not 1st
@@itsspunkdad Krusen left the band B4 the first tour. I saw them on the first tour and DA was the drummer that did and completed the whole first tour. So as far as I am concerned when I saw and followed them, DA was the drummer I heard. Going back to the OG post of mine its still sad he wasnt included.
Envelheceu bem demais👏🏻🔥A voz continua a mesma.
Any year, cos PJ is the best rock band since they’re started
Wow, nice editing! 🔥
Flashback for me, from 30years ago...because my room mate introduced PJ 10 album to me back then...thanx Jimmy...👍💪
I love pearl jam
All the years! are the best!!! Eddie Vedder is the best!!!
To all complaining about the tempo, yes it's a bit silly but don't blame the drummer. Drummers don't decide tempos, they just keep them.
Yeah, Matt Cameron is one of the best drummers from that era. He wouldn’t play it that fast if the rest of the band didn’t want to.
Amo
awesome!!! Same vibe since the beginning!!
Outsanding editing man! congrats!
I wanted to hear his little yell at the beginning!
30 years of fantastic ear experiences
With same energy!
VERSIONE DEL 1992 EPICA UNICA
In 2005, the concert in Chile was spectacular!!!!!!
Dave Abbruzzese o melhor disparado !!
Years 2000 is the best
This is an incredible video.
Bellissimo montaggio. 💪🏻💪🏻
All of them!!!🎸🇬🇧🤘
As a fan I say that its first 3 years that are the best. But as a musican I say that newest ones are better.
All the years of Even Flow fantastic. But for me 2018 the best 😍👍
2000 EV for the win!!
James : Master Master !!
Pearl jam : Faster Faster !!
next time I see & hear them play it live will be the best for me 🎶
Day or night fine time!
I dont know... almost like they are playing it fast like you do when you brush your teeth when your late for work. They know they have to hurry up, do it and get it out of the way based on necessity not because its enjoyable. I can imagine no matter what you do in life it gets old after a while.
I liked the ones with Eddie and The Boys in it!!! Which are all of them...
Pinkpop festival 1992 with no doubt
At first I was trying to count drummers, a saga that you kindly edited out. But I LOL'd when it got to 2003 and the tempo went through the roof. I wonder how many times they had played the song by that point?
Their website lists all their songs, how many time they’ve been played, and when the last time was. I don’t know how many times up to 2003 but so far they’ve played Even Flow 841 times, the last being 10/02/2021 at the time of this post. I’d be tired of playing it…
The best pass.
Melhor 2022.
Bom como um vinho envelhecido em barril de Carvalho... saber apreciar 😎
Excellent video !
This makes me more excited than nervous for my first gig
Fast, slow…I’ll take it anyway they wanta play it❣️
every year
Absolutly!!! I think they are really like wine... better every year passed...
ehi please subscribe!!! I would really appreciate it !!!
Upgrade the rythm just like update the technology ..The Genius of Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam
This is my piss break song during concerts. It's extended with Mike's solo, so I can make it to the bathroom and back and even get another beer.
Hahaha...I see what you mean! I went to my kitchen and popped some popcorn during it...
great band
All of the years....the better is the next 🤟
1:36 Rip original tempo ):
Matt Cameron is the best drummer... when he was with Soundgarden. With Pearl Jam? IMHO, not so much.
1993 with Abruzzese, wow
Jack iron.....love lots from cebu city phils
F*cking awesome!!
Buenísimo. For the next one!
Hope they make it more faster Slayer style.
Eddie like wine.
Matt is for SG and Dave for PJ!
Exelente
The best....💯🇧🇷💓💞🥰❤️💋🥂
Which one was the best?
All of Them!
Post 2005 Eddie loves singing any THIN
Dave on Drums!
Matt Cameron always speeding it all up
Missing Dave on drums
Well done
The slower version of the 90s had that signature Pearl Jam Groove to it, the fast version is great, don’t get me wrong but……….there’s something about the slower version!
Yeah
Why did they speed up the song post 2000? It was perfect the way it was.
My best version? Imola(Italy) 25/06/2022 🤘🏼❤
😍
Que bueno tío 😃
No boom gaspar in even flow live?
The earlier stuff when Edd ie had his youth is most intense, and with Dave playing drums.
They are all good though.
Throughout years the song has gained 20 bpms, why play it so fast?
Edidie Veder no coração.
???
