Rauley Shar all of those sxs could go further than that roxor u idiot. Roxor had no ground clearence and they weigh 2500 lbs. To do all the work you said you are looking at 30k us dollars. For that price a lifted sport sxs would have so much more performance for the same price. It would be a softer ride it would have better traction and more hp and tourqe and be way way faster and safer with a full roll cage. You dont know what you are talking about. I own a roxor that has all you wanted done cost 30k. I have a 30k honda talon 2020 lifted and everything and the talon is way way way better in everyway including reliability. Once u start lifting and putting big tires and more power the roxor will break shit just like every other machine. Sorry to burst your bubble. Go spend the money like i did find out for yourself.

@@gsfbffxpdhhdf7043 don't forget that Roxor is a relatively new 1st-generation product for North American market. Mahindra plans various improvements, like the lockers, improved automatic transmission, better turning radius, and even more lift. Any vehicle can break down, but the simplicity of Roxor means less bells & whistles that can break down. It's not as cramped as a Ranger, or a Pioneer, or a Talon. A lot of people like modding and customizing vehicles, which has helped to boost interest in the Roxor. Why pay more for a UTV with more expensive stock parts you're going to swap out anyway? If you don't like something, don't buy it, but consumers benefit from more choice in the market.

The roxor won the ultra4 nationals stock class nuff said where it was competing with vehicles that had more power and expensive. The puny utvs will break all their plastic bits and that CVT belt before it takes even 1/10 the brunt the roxor can take. U do know that the roxor is basically a cj-5a with mahindra's own powerplant, they got the license from willys back in 40s. The engine, chassis is basically bulletproof and battle tested. It's derived from the mm550 which was used by the military to negotiate rough terrain in the Himalayas. Again to each their own, the roxor has its uses. The low rpm torque no utv can match it has pulled semi trucks, tractors and even destroyed your glorious utv in a tug of war match just search in RUclips, plus the accesories that u get is insane. Yes it's true it might not do the best in mud crawling and outright speed but it's one of the most balanced vehicle. U can go on ride with kids, in some states it can be made road legal, do farm and ranch work, towing, snow plowing, off-roading and so on.
P.S. try rock crawling with a utv before it disintegrates into bits and pieces. The sheer durability is what makes roxor so good and if it breaks( which all vehicles can) the simplicity is what makes it easy to fix.

Damn sorry to be blunt I am an Indian but there is so much fallacy in your comment, 80% of Indian IT engineers are not engineers but basically humans who know how to copy paste, regarding roxor it's not much engineered differently from the willys license, its the same CJ 5/7 design with some improvements although I love the mahindra's build and reliability but has little to do with engineering.

In the North Eastern Part of India, where I live it's mostly rural hills with lots of rain and there are often floods. So, a strong sturdy car is needed to travel, Mahindra Bolero (same engine as the Roxor) and the Thar have been working for a long time to carry people anywhere and everywhere and also in many rescue operations. They are used by the local law enforcement, the Border Security Force, plantations and farms and even as Ambulances(extended wheelbase). These things are basically built like tanks with the technology being developed and fine tuned for over 70 years by Mahindra. If you need something for speed, you're better off with something else but if you want a real workhorse, something that will last for years, something that will go anywhere with some tuning, go for the Roxor, totally worth it.

Decades ago USA came up with the best offroading vehicle ever in the form of the Willis Jeep. Roxor is an American vehicle made on the original all American design and which is why it is the best there is. Interesting to see how an Indian company recognizes the absolute genius of the American engineering while Americans themselves buy Hondas and Toyotas. Come to India, we have mad rugged Mahindras based on the original Willis beating the longetivity out of the Toyotas. My respect to the original Willis engineers.

Interesting Point you make sir... Until now I have not become familiar with this vehicle. It seems, coupled with original Jeep design, the diesel power plant, offers many possibles to outward bound regions of the world. One being this unit could offer a front & rear drive coupler so as to hook-up too a generator set. Other possibilities could be agriculture equipment in various forms. Keeping to the shaft power drive, saw mills could prove handy. Diesel engines offer up all sorts of creative possibilities to off-grid living circumstances. Mainly due to torque, and economy

@@AZBADBOYz its kind of tricky. Mine is on a motorcycle plate (no emissions in AZ on that plate) but the plate only goes up to 2500 pounds and the roxor is 3,050. But since the state wants the tags and street legal for fire roads etc. so the 3rd party dmv I got wrote it for 2500 lbs and you pay full tax so its like $350 (goes down every year ) with the ohv sticker. But the state also thinks Base MSRP is $24,995 ( thanks Roxor for not fixing that) so I battled with the lady to get her to go on their site and see that they are $15995 Base MSRP. It makes a huge difference since they base the plates on that figure. If they put that figure in wrong from the beginning it can never be changed. So if they won't put it at $15995 leave and go to another 3 rd party. I wouldn't go directly to the state since they are more strict on everything. The Roxor is just so new that most states don't know what to do with it but they do want your money at least AZ does.

Ah yes, the people making roads impassable for everyone else. I wish they did for roads what trails do with mountain bikes... don't ride when it's wet, muddy, or snowpacked. That road will sit horribly rutted for years and will get horribly eroded in flash floods.

I don’t get these things, if you want slow, underpowered and small, just get an old Jeep and at least you can drive on the street!

I don't want to rebuild yet another old jeep. I already did 2 and I no longer have all the required equipment to do it again. And I wanted diesel. So it has plenty of low end torque. My last off road vehicle was a rzr 1000 xp4 which cost more and no where as durable although light and fast it was. Not everything needs the most power and speed. Sometimes its all about the experience. And I don''t think you got the part, we are in AZ, Watch the last 10 seconds.
