Mr Gupta , just a correction . Mr Mahaveer Tyagi was not an opposition M.P. He was a cabinet minister in Nehru cabinet from 1953 - 57 ( Minister of defence organization) and again in 1964 Minister for rehabilitation. In his book Azadi ka Andolan, Haste hue aansu he has very vividly discribed the incidence of exchange of arguments regarding Aksai chin with Mr Nehru.

You are making me aware of current affairs and rekindling the desire to go deeper into news which I had stopped in my early twenties mainly because info was was not so easily available. The govt is either shy or afraid to disclose the real situation in ladakh for no ostensible reasons. When asked about it our honourable defence minister replied -" Indian armed forces are capable enough to give a befitting reply". That's way too vague and doesn't even address the question in the first place.
Whatever British occupied illegally doesn’t automatically comes to India, India has to come to reality and settle the issues with the nations impacted by British occupation, otherwise it will have to own the sins of British vis-à-vis becoming responsible for the creation of hostile neighborhood.
Well, Tibet was independent, Congress helped CCP to take control of Tibet, China assured Nehru don't worry about borders our claims are just maps by nationalist govt and were drawn in 1930s. There was no conflict till Tibet existed as buffer state. Yes you are right, India is too poor and weak to take back what China has already seized in 1962 war or Pakistan has seized in 1948 war. Not many people know that even Pakistan captured some of the Indian territory in 1971 war in Kashmir and Indira Gandhi let them keep it. Anyways. Now China and Pakistan demand Indian territory, we don't demand their territory. India is struggling to keep whatever we have for the last 75 years due to the revisionist totalitarian China and Islamic state of Pakistan want to add more and more land to their territories. @@chandu25abc20
The whole India thing is a British invention just like Hinduism, Sanathana Dharma and Bharat. Proto-Hindus had no idea about the geography of the cow belt heartland let alone the Ladakh region which is related to Tibet.
Hinduism and other indigenous faiths are the threads that tied India together. Islamic invasion and civilizational colonization of some of our population forces them to hate their culture, identity and forefathers. @@hawkingdawking4572

I hate the Print and its Political bias but a lot of Gupta ji’s videos are quite informative. Considering Article 370 has been stamped as legit, I think it’s a good reminder how the geo politics of that region works out. In India we were made to believe it was a Hindu Muslim thing but actually, it’s a geo political game.
Pakistan has granted Russia access to a warm water port in the Arabian sea (Gwadar Port). Since Pakistan joined the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, relations between both sides have become closer.
India just had a ten year renewable contract for Chabahar port. This port is being used for transhipment to Afganistan, Russia , CIS countries. Wake up
Very informative episode. British ruled India by a policy of “divide & rule”. Before leaving, they ensured that this policy of division continues between the two nations who share common history and culture. We, the residents of India and Pakistan foolishly followed this trap and viewed each other as an enemy and poisoned our people against each other. It is high time that we consider taking a regional approach to our common issues and resolve them by embracing our common identity and making the region borderless in terms trade, tourism, economy and possibly currency too. If we move in that direction most of the discussion will no more be relevant.
A good episode, even for Army officers like me who have served in these areas, including Siachin (Northern Glacier). A mention of Point NJ 9842 (a grid reference on the map) upto which the LoC was marked (it was mentioned , beyond this point, "moves thence northwards..." ) would have been in order.
Source: Trust Me Bro I'm from Balochistan you ass wipe 😂 Fact is Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is Occupied hence why it's the most militarized region
Shekhar, you should have explained that Gilgit was never under the Dogra King's control, it was ruled by the British as Gilgit Agency because of British Russophobia to protect its colony from Russia since the 19th century, before Kashmir kingdom was created. It was only transferred to Hari Singh on 3rd June, 1947, and as you mentioned controlled by army units led by British. The Scottish chief of Gilgit Scouts, one William Brown, decided that the Muslim population of Gilgit don't want to join India when he learnt that Maharaja Hari Singh has signed the Instrument of Accession on 26th October, 1947 and arrested the King's army chief there, Ghansar Singh on 1st November, 1947 and made the region a part of Pakistan. Brown served the Pakistani military till 1959 and was awarded posthumously by the Pakistani government. It is truthful to treat Gilgit-Baltistan as different from Jammu and Kashmir and it is sad that Indian writers never let us know it, calling it all as Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. This is not to say that India has no claim there, but leaving out important details totally like that makes me unhappy.

Shekhar, for the interest of your viewers, I would like to mention Article 6 of the 1972 Shimla Agreement which states that... "Both Governments agree that the respective Heads will meet again at a mutually convenient time in the future and that, in the meanwhile, the representatives of the two sides will meet to discuss further the modalities and arrangements for the establishment of durable peace and normalization of relations, including the questions of repatriation of prisoners of war and civilians' internees, a final settlement of Jammu and Kashmir and the resumption of diplomatic relations"......... The last sentence clearly states that the "Final Settlement" of J&K still remains to be sorted out between India & Pak. Truth always gets buried under emotive statements on emotive issues....
After reading history its not Nehru but Hari Singh who created all the problems we are facing. Nehru's as well as Patel's mistake was going to UN which was realised by them and 10 months later Hyderabad was captured by police action.
x country occupied countries A,B,C and few areas of D which is under sezurinity of Y, now when x left, A,B and C joined to form a single country and retained the parts of D in it. All the border issue between India-China is related to that few areas belonging to D which were taken by x, when Y was having internal issues. Remember, Indias so called claims on Aksai Chin starts from 1800's only with the entry of British in South Asia. Its unnecessary to be belligerant with China, what ever India already got in Kashmir or Ladakh is a bonus already. Resolving the border amicably by accepting the current one would be the saner decision on India's part, anything else is just greediness.

I believe I read in a book extract that Mountbatten had "ended the agreement" 15 days ahead of independence - on August 1!! So this means, it was HIS ploy to deliberately hand it over when the Maharaja was hardly ready to defend all portions of his kingdom and send people everywhere! Troops may have revolted, but the Political Agent - who was British - in GB did too! And imprisoned the governor! Again, THEY wanted "independence" not merger with Pakistan at that point - something which the British did NOT give as one of the choices to all 565 Princely States! NO ruler was given right to independence - per the terms of partition and transfer of power among the 565 (+ less than 20 I think from Pakistan) princely states: they had to join one of the 2 dominions! SG, Buddhism, before 300 BCE, preached that War is essential for peace, but only as the very last resort…. Just saying. Tailpiece: Are we at times over glorifying ordinary people who were mere products of circumstance, overlooking there monumental failures? Again, just asking
In 1947 our political leadership lacked strong will power. THE BRITISH ARMY CHIEF COULD have been overruled/bypassed to achieve important political objectives. Pak army chief was also British but it bypassed him to send irregular into Kashmir. Left to nehru, he would not have sent indian army into Kashmir. The best thing would have been for ndhru to call next rung of our army leadership for advice and set political objectives in front of them and discussed its feasibility. Dir of ops would have given unbiased advice. It was indeed nehru's failure and incompetence. In 1962 war he appointed a supply core General Kaul to fight in NEFA. Sheer foolishness!!!

India’s fantasy of invading remainder of the old J&K is possibly feasible in the coming years. Pakistan’s army which has lost all support of its citizens, would love for India to start the adventure soon . In Pakistan, all will be forgotten and the people will rally behind the unpopular generals. There is no other scenario that is better for the army brass. I am surprised that they haven’t taken a “ punga” themselves. They must love Amit Shah for his pronouncements.
This confirms that this guy Shekhar is a classic anti-India. His version of history doesn’t hold the truth when it is examined against the historic documentation. This has to be downloaded and kept as a proof of his treachery
Anti-Bharat you might say. He can't keep the Bharat Hindurashtra propaganda on an international platform like RUclips. Your delusional fake history narrative only works in your state sponsored religious TV channels.
Trust you to complicate every shit. Definition is much simpler. Mutually agreed is Boundary. Disputed is Line of Control. Active dispute is Line of Actual Control.
I thought we lost Aksai chin in 1962 war... but for godsake it was due to our own negligence. Thanks for opening our eyes. Nehru was a bigger idiot then I thought
India never had Aksai Chin just like POK. India was never able to fight and conquer it. Assume you had a kingdom. You lost a major part of it to your enemies and you came running to me to annex whatever is remaining to save your ass. What did I really get? Whatever remained & not the entire Kingdom. I need to go & fight to conquer the region again which I could not in the past nor can I in the present or in the future.
While you might be right about the plight of regular Kashmiris , and the problems they face , calling India and outsider to the region is factually incorrect, it is important to read all kinds of Historical documents to get the accurate picture just reading lopsided pieces of propaganda doesn't tell you the reality.
Both the Indian and Pakistani held Kashmir should be united and give independence. Independent Kashmir is the only permanent solution for peace in the sub-continent.

Everything is fine except the map of J&K in the starting of the episode. On the upper side it says POK, which is factually correct, but just below the poonch Azad Kashmir is written. Goverment of India can take action against theprint bcs of that. Dont you afraid shekhar 😂
The British had no authority to give it away to Pakistan. GB belonged to Kashmiri kingdom, which has acceded to India.
Why did the British draw the world for India ? India would have own the world by 1947.
A map without Trans-Karakoram Tract?
You are deliberately misguiding . It was nehru who delayed accession treaty because he wanted major role for sheikh abudullah and diminished role of maharaja. Maharaja was forced out of j&k by nehru + abudullah gang and later death of shama prasad mukherjee
We lost these area.. Due to poor.. Administration.. 😢
@ThePrintIndia why you guys have placed INDIA naming Map below Jammu-kashmir & Ladakh ?
Please don't show fake interpreted Maps to educate others. It's a humble request!

Never knew the history of Pak claim on GB. By our on logic pakistan does seem to have somewhat of a claim on GB
China has emerged as the biggest creditor to developing countries in the past decade as the part of Xi’s Belt and Road Initiative which focused mainly on Chinese built infrastructure.
Loans to countries including

Bangladesh 6.1 Billion$
Africa 55+ Billion $

Chaganda Bharat is a wet dream. There was no Bharat before 19th century.
Just a minor Nitpick, Indira isnt a godess, but a God (male) , or king of Devas.
Sir, stand next to the map and explain clearly....
Can you make this in Hindi too
We want to eat beef, not worship it like idiots.
China was in same situation, how did Chinese managed to get everything back except Taiwan. Our leadership was weak and not cunning, that’s fact. We would have taken it back in 1971.
SG, Buddhism, before 300 BCE, preached that War is essential for peace, but only as the very last resort…. Just saying.
Tailpiece: Are we at times over glorifying ordinary people who were mere products of circumstance, overlooking there monumental failures? Again, just asking
“Na koi wahan hamari seema mein ghus aaya hai, na hi koi ghusa hua hai,..

You have shown kashmir as if it is not part of india bad
This confirms that this guy Shekhar is a classic anti-India. His version of history doesn’t hold the truth when it is examined against the historic documentation. This has to be downloaded and kept as a proof of his treachery
Tell us the truth my friend
What makes you believe that your version of history is the correct one ?
Kuch bhi😂😂
Anti-Bharat you might say. He can't keep the Bharat Hindurashtra propaganda on an international platform like RUclips. Your delusional fake history narrative only works in your state sponsored religious TV channels.

Very ill informed comments of genesis of Aksai Chin border issue!!
This episode appears to have a lot more opinion versus facts.
As usual very bad conclusion
I thought we lost Aksai chin in 1962 war... but for godsake it was due to our own negligence. Thanks for opening our eyes. Nehru was a bigger idiot then I thought
India never had Aksai Chin just like POK. India was never able to fight and conquer it.
Assume you had a kingdom. You lost a major part of it to your enemies and you came running to me to annex whatever is remaining to save your ass. What did I really get? Whatever remained & not the entire Kingdom. I need to go & fight to conquer the region again which I could not in the past nor can I in the present or in the future.
NEHRU WAS A FOOL MODI IS GREAT
Bharat is an historical outsider to this area, it has only brought misery to all.
