Rhett has such a natural, gorgeous voice, what a gift. Love listening 😍😍 😍 I am from Ohio, married and moved to Long Island, New York. Ohio will always be home as my family is still there.
Thank you SO MUCH for answering my question from facebook. I love you guys! This made me so excited. I've been watching you for years. I just moved recently back to my home state because where I was just didn't feel like "home" so that question was on my mind. Stay awesome guys!
The singing in this episode made me realize they hardly sing on any of their shows now. They barely sing on GMM anymore. Maybe it’s all being poured into the live shows, but I do miss it. ❤️
I’ve been in CA for just over 10 years and you are reminding me of all the struggles of learning my environment. I needed GPS to get to work and back. Where ever I went I pressed home on gps to get home. I came from chicago and when I land back there I get an overwhelming feeling of familiarity.the buildings, the air, the rain!
Nuu! if they see this comment they might feel weird shearing odd things with us which is something that makes this show great. @R&L I love the _over sharing_ please don't let comments like this dishearten you from opening up with us about anything!!
Fellow North Carolinian here, Ear Biscuits has been helping me with my road rage on my morning commutes to work, to keep it short and simple, thanks for all that ya'll do and these podcasts help A LOT.
I live in a small town (Wapakoneta, Ohio- Neil Armstrong's hometown), and when I moved down to Mason (NE Cincinnati) for college ( I was only down there 2 years in total), I learned how to become an adult, made life long friends that I still have, and found another church that I value greatly. To me, I think the connections to other people are a big part of what makes a new town or city a home. Mason feels like a 2nd home to me because of the strides I made in becoming an adult and the relationships I built. If I moved back down to Mason as a permanent change, it would probably only take a few months for me to feel like it was my new home, but nothing can ever change your "home" when you grow up in a small town.
I don't sing songs in the shower anymore, I use that time to listen to Ear Biscuits and I'm having a blast hahahahaha One episode can last for several showers, better than listening to your playlist and having a song you don't want to hear come in hahaha
Lol, the inconsistency with the censoring of "bad words" over the past few episodes is killing me! I say just let them go uncensored because Rhett and Link are no where near potty mouths.
Trust me. These guys do cuss and cuss like any normal person off camera. Watch some of their interviews other than on GMM. They definitely curse! I love it lol. I wish they'd take some of the censorship away from GMM.
I have always lived in the same state I grew up in, and even now, I still always refer to my hometown as "home." I think because I just subconsciously consider wherever my mom and dad are to be home.
The "home" topic is an interesting one. I was born in and spent the first 37 years of my life in Oklahoma City (and the surrounding vicinity). We moved to upstate South Carolina just after I turned 37 and it is sooooo stinkin' beautiful here, I just can't even. There aren't any tornadoes to speak of, there are ACTUAL mountains, there are hiking trails and waterfalls just minutes from my house, and then Charleston and it's beaches are just a 3 1/2 hour road trip away. It's freaking amazing. Hendersonville, NC is a half hour away, Asheville is about an hour, and it's gorgeous up that way, too. There is so much to do. Oklahoma will always be "where I'm from" but that's really the only tie I have to it anymore. I credit it for most of my accent and I go back to visit family but that's pretty much it. I even dread going back there now because in just the (almost) 5 years it's been since we moved away, SO much has changed. It doesn't feel like home when I go there anymore. I hate that it's like that, but it is what it is. I'm in love with the mountains and the plains definitively don't have those, so...the mountains are home now. They always will be.
I moved to my current province 30 years ago. I still miss my 'home' and still call it 'down home' but where I live now is also my home. It's where I met my husband, raised my family and it's where I'll live till the end, I'm sure. But I still miss 'home'. It will always be a big part of me.
When they were talking about cloning dogs and Rhett shifted the topic to people, it just reminded me of this movie - Never let me go. It is a dystopian science fiction movie about a very similar subject, I recommend to watch it. :) Although I watched it once, quite a few years ago, I remember it being very good.
If you guys do a meetup or anything while youre here at home. Id love to meet you guys. I grew up running around these woods and fields of Buies Creek too! Cant wait for the book to see if I can spot real life references.
I'd never clone a pet of mine. I think it would look the same but the personality would never be the same. They grow up in a different situation because you can't relive everything you've done with the previous one. Your life changed and you yourself changed over the lifetime of the first dog or whatever pet.
Cloning a pet is simply stupid simply because it may look like your pet, but it has a different soul/personality. Experts agree. No matter how much the environment is the same or the people, its still a new dog who will not turn out the game since the situation will be different in many ways that we don't realize.
Right! Look at siblings: same genetics, same environment- completely different people! And yes, cloned animals look the same but are not the same in personality/behavior. Seeing my dog that isn’t really my dog would be so painful every day. Also, it wouldn’t be fair to the cloned dog to try and force them to be like another dog. The whole cloning thing is a mess.
Rhett & Link I recommend Neil Med Sinus Rinse Kit squeeze bottle instead of the netipot. It’s easier, faster, & more effective. I’ve used both and neil med is so much better. If u have a deviated septum (i had one too but had surgery to fix it) sometimes u need a lil extra help with clearing backed up mucous so I agree with you that “leaving it alone” isn’t always the answer. Good luck guys.💖 Appreciate you. 🙂
"Get in your way" holy shit this is what I do! I always get in my own way, I always wondered if anyone else did that lol. Like even when I'm at home alone, dancing or singing makes me feel so freaking stupid. I told my mom and she was like "But you're alone" and I'm all "I know, Im stupid." Haha
I was born in japan but I moved to America specifically New York at a very young age, and I truly do feel that New York/ America is my home, but I still do call japan home every time I visit. (Loved the episode btw)
As someone who moved to a new state in 2011 as well whenever I go back to Ohio to visit family I still say I'm going home. My fiance asked why I call that home since I don't love there any longer? I'm like this is my home now but Ohio will forever be my home home lol
bree 4 where in Ohio did you live? Sorry I’m just curious because I live in South Eastern Ohio. And I don’t normally find people who come from Ohio too.
I have lived in the same place, Idaho, and same town for my entire life. It has changed alot over the years and is still changing. Live in a city with a sugar beet processing plant that stinks up a lot of the city. That stank always reminds me I am home! It is not home because of a house, lived in many of them.Rather because of my friends and family.
There is already a movie related to the " growing a version 2 of yourself in order to harvest the organs". Its called "the island " I think, with scarlett Johansson
I can't believe Link has not heard of 'Loving Arms' - One of my faves. Would love to hear them cover it ... In fact, more R and L singing 'straight' songs. Or more R and L just singing please.
I'm an NC transplant from AZ. But I moved here not long after I graduated in 95. Eastern NC is my home. My husband is from here, and my son was born here. I have ZERO desire to move back West. I also love live in the country and have no desire for big city life again. It did take time to adjust....years in fact. But now I have roots here.
The singing was golden. These dudes are amazing. Lowkey, happy for the failed show. We possibly wouldn't get this amazingness if they had been show runners...
Starting at about 48:30 for about 45 seconds y’all legitimately did a real life version of the “Californians” bit from SNL. Yeah...y’all are definitely Cali kids now...
U guys need to visit NE coast. I want to see u in RL on stage but I don’t live in the warm/hot states. Philly, Atlantic City, NYC, casino in CT. I’d b able to get to those places........pleeeeeeeeeeeeze 🙏🏼. U guys rock even if u can’t get here😃 Guys.....I’m eating breakfast here😂. This snot colors & Nettie pot talks is gagging me😂
My reason for not wanting to clone my dog is because I would have an unrealistic expectations for the clone to be exactly like the original. And when the clone fails to reach those expectations, there would be a chance of resentment toward the clone. It wouldnt allow me to learn to love the clone for whatever type of personality they have.
My best friend of 22 years was hit and killed by a car at the age of 24. I stopped I'm my tracks at the thought of the possibility of cloning him and honestly I have never been so torn on a decision of if I would want it or not.
Correct me if Im wrong but if you clone an older dog, the clone would have the genetic characteristics of an older dog, cos that is there the DNA / RNA comes from, even if the dog looks like a puppy?

Rhett being vulnerable is the best. Singing with his wife, my heart melted.
Rhett has such a natural, gorgeous voice, what a gift. Love listening 😍😍 😍
I am from Ohio, married and moved to Long Island, New York. Ohio will always be home as my family is still there.
Ohio has a special feel as home. I can't really describe it compared to any other state
Things like that marshmallow skewer story are the reason I love Ear Biscuits.

In the intro to the ice cream one today they did
Yep! They don’t sing whole songs very often, though.
Link's face as Rhett was singing tho XD
Well they don't want to sing copyrighted music, this video definitely got claimed.
I’ve been in CA for just over 10 years and you are reminding me of all the struggles of learning my environment. I needed GPS to get to work and back. Link really says what pops in his head and I love it but I really didn't need to know about the colors of his snot.
Hopefully nobody with an weak stomach wasn't eating when he mentioned the colors of his snot.😝
I just love the stuff that he says, they can be so left field and hysterical.
Nuu! if they see this comment they might feel weird shearing odd things with us which is something that makes this show great.

Ok. I need a country album from these two.
I was born and raised in Georgia and no madder where I go that will always be my home ❤️
Lol, the inconsistency with the censoring of "bad words" over the past few episodes is killing me! I say just let them go uncensored because Rhett and Link are no where near potty mouths.
The partial censoring is to avoid demonetization lots of people do it on RUclips.
Trust me. These guys do cuss and cuss like any normal person off camera. Watch some of their interviews other than on GMM. They definitely curse! I love it lol. I wish they'd take some of the censorship away from GMM.
@@the_minimalistic_adventureit would be demobilized if they do. It's really not a hard concept. RUclips has changed.

Man Rhett's singing voice! 😍 Even when he's sick! 😱❤It's to die for!😍😍😍 #Earbiscuits
Who else loves when they talk about their wives? Or their, "wifes", as they say in The Book of Mythicality?
It's my favorite thing.
Rhett signing his shower song miraculously matched the tempo of the chill hop music I was listening to as background music!! What luck :p
That is couples goals Rhett. I sing in the shower. I will sing almost anything. At the moment its been anything by Queen. Shower is my private time.
I moved to my current province 30 years ago. I still miss my 'home' and still call it 'down home' but where I live now is also my home. It's where I met my husband, raised my family and it's where I'll live till the end, I'm sure. But I still miss 'home'. It will always be a big part of me.

So when can Greg make an appearance and reminisce with you guys????
Too funny! 4 marshmallow roasters! 20 hungry s’mores eaters
Who else uses ear biscuits to go to sleep
Use them all the time. Rhett and Link possess some calming voices!!
I'd never clone a pet of mine. I think it would look the same but the personality would never be the same. “What is this a Disney movie?!?” 😂😂😂😂
"What's up Greg?"
*Danny Gonzalez has entered the chat*
Would love to see a GMM episode with Greg
This was a weird ass Ear Biscuits 😂 I love it! Can't wait to see this crazy dynamic duo live in Sac in November!
"Couple hundred bucks..whatever"
Me: 😳
Yeah but everything in California is more expensive and the wages are higher. So in reality it’s probably not as much as you’re thinking.
Anyone remember that "Gattaca" movie?! This convo totally made me think about rewatching it...

I love Ear Biscuits so much! Anti-vax jokes, country songs, it doesn’t get much better.
Will you be doing any shows in the North East?
I love Link's graphic tee! Does anyone know where it's from?
I was born in japan but I moved to America specifically New York at a very young age, and I truly do feel that New York/ America is my home, but I still do call japan home every time I visit. (Loved the episode btw)
The mythical road trip was the original tour of mythicality.
It's free but you gotta catch us at a random rest stop.
I'm with you Link 2 packs of rosters is what I would have chosen, too much stuff is gloging up the world. Colleen from Brisbane Australia
Rhett, you have an amazing voice, even when outside of the shower :)
Quick idea on how to win GMM purists over to Ear Biscuits: just shoot it on the GMM set instead of at the podcast set
Awwhhhh my Sunday morning hide from the kids sleep time here in Ireland! 🇮🇪🇮🇪❤️❤️
Hoity toity
BAIJAN BERRY not even sure what that means 😂
Much love from North Carolina
29:00 that’s the plot to the movie The Island, rich people growing what they thought was a non-sentient clone to harvest its organs...
As someone who moved to a new state in 2011 as well whenever I go back to Ohio to visit family I still say I'm going home. My fiance asked why I call that home since I don't love there any longer? I'm like this is my home now but Ohio will forever be my home home lol
